It really pains me to write this. Ive had this monitor for a few months and after much troubleshooting and buyers remorse i must say i can NOT recommend this for gaming. Even with a VGA and alot of messing around with contrast, gamma, etc. the color is washed out and bland. It pains me to sit next to my room mate while gaming and see his monitor (half the price) completely out perform this massive eyesore. Alot of issues with the aliasing due to an incorrect aspect ratio on the monitor. All the games i play even at max settings have these horrendoues jagged lines on every edge of every character due to the awkward width of the screen stretching them out. i beg you, if youre looking for a screen for your battle station, keep searching.

This monitor is perfect... Except for the colors. Black is grey and the screen looks like it has a white overlay. Messed with the color settings, contacted support, nothing has helped. I have to return this, unfortunately. I need the colors to be true. Listen to the other reviews, this monitor doesnt display colors properly.

Ordered two of these for my wife, BOTH had dead pixels on the screen. Do yourself a favor and do not buy these. It wouldnt be as bad if only one was defective, I would have just returned it and got another. But two of two bad? That just shows they obviously have QC problems. Returning both and trying another namebrand.

The color and blacks on this monitor were very sub par, there were also dead pixels - we tried playing with settings to make it work but in the end the settings always reset and we ended up having to return the monitor.

I ordered 2 of these. They are very nice looking, having no bezel looks really great. BUT... The first issue was the Vesa adaptor was very hard to attach. The screw holes didnt line up well and it was really awkward to even get to them. On one I had to use washers I had around to get it to attach firmly. So after a couple of hours getting that done and getting them mounted, plugged them in and NOTHING. I tried different power strips, plugged directly to wall, a different power cord from my previous monitor (so I knew it was good) - NOTHING. Ended up returning the both and getting Samsung monitors that actually power on, took about 3 minutes to attach the Vesa mount and they work!!!

Purchased the Viotek 32" monitor based on Amazon and searching online monitor reviews. Not sure if everyone experienced the same as I did but the monitor just didnt provide the quality I was looking for. I ordered the Samsung CF391 Series Curved 32-Inch FHD and VIOTEK NB32C 32" LED CURVED COMPUTER MONITOR within a week a part and the Samsung blew away the Viotek 32". Where you can see the difference between the two monitors is that Samsung is crisp, clean, vibrant, and depth of colors. Also, I noticed there is no white blemishes where there is dead black. It is possible that the monitor I received could have been a dud but I doubt it with the tests I performed extensively. The Samsung monitor was about $75.00 more than the Viotek and Amazon lowered the price to about the same as Viotek. Where the Viotek strengths are for a basic office monitor and lower quality movie watching where people are not picky about top notch quality. I do like the real estate width of the monitor over the Samsung which is nice feature. Other than that if I was only buying the monitor for basics, it is a good price. Hope this review helps..

Install Flash Player I bought this for my wifes birthday present and am very disappointed so far. Just received the monitor and I am unable to get the blacks to be anything other than medium gray. Even turning brightness and contrast all the way down, the base level darkness of the monitor is horrible thus far. Colors are washed out and overall the image is not pleasing to look at because of this. But there is something weird, in the color/brightness options, when switching to text display, there is about a quarter second while it is switching profiles that everything looks beautiful.(added video) The blacks are deep and dark, the colors look amazing. Then it goes back to everything being washed out. I have changed every setting I can find in order to figure out where the issue is, because I believe user error is the cause of most of these types of situations. After about 2 hours Im ready to give up in defeat. If I manage to find any information on ways to fix this Ill post it here for anyone else who experiences this issue. Edit: Short term solution: I ended up using the VGA cord vs the HDMI cord. Now the blacks are awesome I dont know why the HDMI cord is causing issues, but this is still not an acceptable long term solution.

The screws to the stand that supports the monitor was not tapped/fabricated properly. After several requests for a replacement stand, I finally received one about 3 weeks later. Never received a reply from the department handling the replacement part. It jus finally showed up. However, it was not the same stand that was sold with the monitor and the replacement stand is very flimsy and wobbley. I am afraid to touch or try to adjust the angle of the screen for fear the stand will break. The picture quality is the same as my cheapy old monitor. Nothing exciting and not an upgrade.

I will try to make this short, sweet, and simple... Upon opening the box, I was presented with another box which contained the monitor.. weird. When I opened the box that actually contained the monitor I was actually impressed with the packaging seeing as though this monitor is a "cheap" no name brand monitor. First impressions: Cheap stand (chrome painted/plated/etc brass, yet sturdy and heavy) This monitor is huge! The color (white) reminds me of the old CRT bland white/gray. Heavy. Top left corner of the frame is popped out and bent... great. Upon hooking it up, the picture looked awesome. That was until I set up my cheap 23" Asus monitor and realized the colors looked better on the Asus.... HOWEVER, I did go into the settings of the monitor, tweak them a little bit, as well as doing a color calibration & clear text through Windows 10. And it looks pretty damn good. There is however a little light bleed on the right side of the screen. After playing around with it for a little bit, I did notice QUITE a bit of ghosting. In which I contacted Amazon, and requested to do a return. However... I think the amount of ghosting was due to the monitor itself still being cold from sitting outside all day (I live in NY). Currently, as I sit here and type this, I have played games such as DOOM, D3, Arma 3, etc, and honestly... it really isnt THAT bad. There is still some ghosting, but for a $219 monitor, I cant complain. This isnt a 1ms 144hz monitor lol. Overall, I give this 4/5 stars due to it being slightly damaged (Note: both boxes that it was shipped in were not damaged in any shape way or form surprisingly). I would HIGHLY recommend this monitor to anyone who isnt wanting to drop $300+ on a curved monitor. I have not noticed any dead pixels or any other errors. I will upload pics of the damage when I get the chance.

Really nice monitor, arrived quickly. Pros: Very bright, great colors. A lot of people complained about blacks being washed out, but after a few tweaks i have it dialed in perfect. Big and beautiful for a desktop monitor, i replaced a triple 24" screen setup with this and Im very happy. Nice finish, the curve is subtle but easy on the eyes, and the included stand is chrome steel and very sturdy. Cons: Switching inputs is a pain in the a$$. If you have something hooked up HDMI and VGA/DVI...there is no input switch button, you have to go through the menus which is very tedious. The screen does show some bleeding/tearing due to the curve, It isnt very noticeable, but it is there. All in all, its well worth the money.
