I bought this because, lets be honest, its super cheap for a 27" monitor. TL;DR - Cheap monitor, you really get what you are paying for with this. Does have a nice border-less look but I would recommend paying a few hundred dollars more and getting a quality 2560x1440 UltraHD monitor. 1. First the stand is super difficult to put on, like I probably spent around 15 minutes trying to push carefully but hard enough to get the stand connected. Did they not do any actual user testing to see if the stand might be a bit too difficult to put on? 2. Mine had a few dead pixels in the bottom left of the screen, very apparent when viewing web pages with the white background. 3. The display is way too heavy for the stand so its very top heavy. When I went to turn on the display the entire thing just bobbles back and forth. If you are using this in a work setting and people next to you always bump the table - you are probably going to hate your life. 4. When viewing dark web pages or watching shows on Netflix there were some white impressions along the top and bottom edge of the screen and also a large white impression in the middle of the screen. This is probably just a result of shipping and just a cheap display. (See attached photo) 5. Lastly, the resolution is only 1920x1080 (not like the nice 2560x1440 UltraHD monitors). This just makes everything look super large and zoomed in on a PC. Something just to keep in mind.

Ive been using it for a few days now, and it works great, Ive used both Ubuntu and Windows and havent had any problems, I mostly use it for programming, but I occasionally do some media editing (images, mostly), and watch FHD videos at 60fps without problem, I can look at even relatively small text very clearly, and I love the thin borders/bezels, I have found the buttons to be a little hard to press, but its not so bad that I think it would hurt the rating, if anything, the buttons feel like they will last long update: I bought a second one, and a Dual Monitor mount, it was a bit weird that the second had a different base, but because I removed it from the first one to get them both on the mount anyway, it doesnt matter, I like my setup with the mount

I guess the headline is the biggest deal as I dont know what the status of the monitor is. Its NOT easy to assemble though. There are tiny screws that need to go from the stand into the monitor, so a very small Philips head bit. And if you dont have a magnetic head (I didnt) the screws will fall out and roll into the body of the monitor. It took me 15 minutes to manipulate the monitor to let loose of the one screw that fell in. And even with the perfect sized bit, the screws are not well made, so its easy to strip them if you arent very careful. It took me 30 minutes total to get this part of the stand assembled, but the base is easy in comparison as that is a larger screw that is easy to manipulate. Okay, on to the performance. I moved up from a 20" ACER that looked pretty good with my nvidia card, and this does have a richer display, so Im happy with that part. But the button to turn the monitor on and off is in an odd, and difficult to reach location. Ive gotten used to this now, but my ACER had an easy to reach button right in the front that didnt threaten tilting it out of my preferred position. The hot change software update was seamless, and after a restart my video card recognized the monitor and updated the settings to where they needed to be. It is bright compared to the ACER, but since I use this to watch my old movies on, I kind of like that and havent felt a need to change it. So three stars because I paid for a new item, and not even the $7 coupon was available for the "returned" item I received. I dont think the stand is meant to be assembled and then taken apart, so that may have related to the issue I had with the screws wanting to strip on me. Everything seems okay now, but I dont have a warm fuzzy about this items durability over the long term like my ACER had. Im keeping that one as a back-up just because it is so sturdy in comparison to this thing. I would not even try to seek support for the thing when it dies on me as this is obviously designed to remove and replace when it dies. But for now, it is doing what I want it to.

after a few months with monitor it began having a major display issue. It will sporadically have mess up and cut off the display and had dead black pixels on the left side of the screen. It then also cuts off in the left-middle area. I really liked this monitor at first but this issues makes it practically unusable. I alsp emailed their customor service email wirh no response so far after a few days..... Would not reccomdend

I thought this was a pretty nice monitor for the money, although I did end up returning it. There were a few problems with it however. First, the reason I returned it: It had a discoloration in the picture near the top of the screen. It was roughly 5 inches by 1 inch and slightly curved and appeared as dark blue against dark colored picture content. So the fact that it was damaged was certainly a negative, and is the primary reason for the 4 star rating. Its a big monitor, so it was not terribly fun unpacking it and putting it together, and much less so when I realized I was going to have to pack it all back up, which was even more of a pain. Secondly, there seemed to be a bit of a lag in the picture at times. Im not sure if this has to do with the slow refresh rate that others have mentioned, or if it was just the video card in my five and a half year old computer not being up to snuff. I suspect it was the latter, but Im not much of a techie, so I cant say for sure. A somewhat related problem (I suspect) is that the ONE computer game that I play, (the original Empire Earth game) would not run using this monitor. It froze the entire computer every time I tried no matter how I adjusted the game settings. Again, I suspect this was because my video card was not up to the task, so perhaps not really the monitors fault. I also learned something about computer monitors. It IS possible to have a monitor that is just too big. If you have a good gaming set up where you can adjust the distance of the monitor from your eyes, then its not a problem. But in just a typical desktop setup, 32 inches is just too big. So it was a really nice monitor for watching movies and other video content, but just didnt work well for any other applications for my use like Office programs, web browsing, etc. I would still recommend it (for the price) IF you have a setup where youve got lots of leeway in how far you can be from the monitor while using your keyboard, mouse, and/or game controller. Otherwise, you probably dont want to go above 27 inches.

Not what I was wanting, I asked multiple times if this had Vesa mounting and everyones answer was"YES" and it absolutely does not! I even specified 24" when asking and the answer was still yes. I bought 3 with a 3 armed Vesa stand because of the answers. They are beautiful monitors but sadly they wont fit with my build. All 3 will be returned and I will get 3 "Asus Slim Bezel Black VC239H 23" from right here at Amazon!

I was in the market for a monitor (once again) after my older, bulkier 23" Dell monitor finally started getting burn-in markings on the screen. Granted, this monitor lasted me more than 5 years along with all of the abuse that I put it through, but it was finally time to put it down. I came across this monitor and read the specs, read up on some of the reviews left, and decided to give it a go. I was so glad that I did. This baby weighs a fraction of what the one I used to have weighed. The clarity, the realistic "I feel that I am there" look was obvious from the moment that I opened an HD wallpaper. From edge to edge (except for the bottom where all of the function buttons are) you get a true full on screen with a very thin border around it. I even compared it to my 27" Dell curved monitor, and I have to tell you, I like this 24" better. I truly am blown away by the quality of this monitor. It far exceeded my expectations. If youre in the market for a new monitor are are looking for a 24-27" monitor, this one will definitely meet your expectations.

This monitor is GORGEOUS. Even without 144hz capabilities, this earns 5 stars easily. The bezel-less frame adds such a modern and sleek look to the monitor and the circular base doesnt take up much room at all. I actually keep a few items in there. I game frequently, program, browse the internet, and upgrade my computer every now and then. I have never had any problems with this monitor (apart from the tiny LED which is oddly bright at night when its in sleep mode) regarding the mentioned activities and would recommend it to anyone trying to get a sleek, modern looking monitor for a fair price. NOTE: Ill be upgrading to their newly released 144hz bezel-less because this little guy just cant handle the framerates.

This monitor is brilliant. I havent had to adjust it at all, and the picture is amazing. Im a photographer and pretty darn fussy and this fits the bill perfectly. I thought the white rim might be bothersome, but its not at all, you dont even notice it. I think Ill order another one for our home in FL when we go down there for the winter.

Would be 5 stars, but the HDMI input port appears to be broken. Tested another monitor, onboard HDMI out, ensured that my GPU was outputting to the compatible resolution and refresh rate (1920x1080 and 60Hz). Nothing has worked. DVI works and VGA works, but HDMI refuses. Otherwise, if youve read the product page, you know what youre getting. Its really thin, the power supply is on board (so no external brick), it has an anti-glare finish (that is still a bit reflective of the light in my room), and the digital menu lets you switch inputs and change picture settings. Nice monitor, but mine is partly busted. Because max output is 1080p/60Hz, but the screen is quite large, I think the ideal application for this monitor is moving away from your desk for gaming or watching a video (say, if you have a couch or something behind your desk chair). If youre sitting at your desk for hardcore gaming with a beastly rig, youre going to be wishing for 144 Hz and 1440p. If youre a graphics designer, youre definitely going to want a higher resolution than 1080p to get that extra screen real estate. For the rest of us, this monitor is excellent for the price. Big screen, 1080p, sleek look. If youre cool with 1080p in general, or you plan to sit back a ways from your desk for certain things, then this monitor is for you.
