Install Flash Player Absolutely excellent monitor. Great image quality, rich blacks and whites, smooth 144hz refresh rate, 4.8ms is not noticeable compared to 1ms on a TN panel, and the 2560x1440 resolution is fantastic. Absolutely blows the competition out of the water at this price point ($369). Only complaints is the stand doesnt have height adjustment or pivot or swivel, and the screen is a bit dark, even at 100% brightness, but overall, super pleased. Couldnt be happier with this monitor.

Update December 24, 2018 Still loving this monitor. No issues, trusty, and looks great. EDIT, FEB 26 2018 Still loving the monitor. Will keep posted here if issues arise. For now though, I recommend you hop on this monitor. Packing: Double boxed. Internal monitor box arrived in relatively good shape with lightly crushed corners. The monitor inside was cased in strong styrofoam packing that shelled nicely around the entire monitor housing, no movement in there. Came with monitor, power cable (no external brick, basic cable into monitor, which is nice for saving precious desk space), brushed metal legs as a stand, and a DP cable. Initial Feeling: The legs/stand feel extremely solid and heavy, a good sign. Some people need height adjustment on their monitor, which this doesnt have. I dont need that, and the tilt function works well. Even before turning on, the panel looks gorgeous and big. (Im coming from a 23" 1080p LG that has served me fantastically for 6 years and still works great) No physical damage to the panel surface, a thin slick foam sheet was well placed. First Power: Setup was pretty easy. Use your own screwdriver instead of the included one to set up the stand. Plugged the included DP cable into a GTX 1050 Ti SSC (on Ryzen) and away we go. Monitor fired up in native resolution, setting 144hz was simple in the Nvidia control panel, and the monitor just worked. Personally, I changed no settings and am massively impressed with the colors and brightness of this monitor. Are there brighter panels?- Certainly. But this one is plenty bright and very fast, and looks great with HD films and games. Tested online for dead pixels and confirmed this monitor seems like a real keeper. Impressions: Have owned this monitor for 48 hours and am loving it by the second. I dont see a better deal on Amazon for refresh rate/size/panel type. And the quality is genuinely surprising at this price. I will add to this review if anything goes wrong and I have to use the included one year warranty.

Im only 2 days in with this monitor so Ill report back if there are any changes to my experience. But my first impressions are just WOW with this monitor! It is an absolute stunning display at 1440p. Im using it with the Sapphire Nitro+ RX 580 8GB. The monitor build looks nice. It has a plastic body and is sturdy enough. The curve is simple and not overdone. The buttons for settings are underneath on the bottom right side and are pretty easy to work with. It has a blue power led that points straight down and reflects on the table surface. Its blinks when there is no signal detected and stays solid when signal is present. Better straight down than in your face I think. The settings menu isnt too bad - it does what you need it to do. It tilts up and down but not left and right. This a Free-Sync monitor and this feature is new to me since I havent put together a system in many moons and never considered things like ghosting and screen tear, etc.. Ive done all of the research between G-Sync and Free-Sync and made my decision to go with a Free-Sync monitor based on price. I originally bought a NVIDIA 1060 6GB, but switched to the Nitro+ RX 580 once I made the decision to go with this monitor. G-Sync monitors are just too pricey. So Ive been gaming the last two days at 1440p, 144Hz, and Free-Sync enabled. Ive played Diablo 3, Borderlands Prequel, Fortnite, and Strange Brigade for my testing. The display is just stunning. Its crisp and clear and I didnt notice any screen bleed around the edges - and no dead pixels either. There has been no screen tear or ghosting while playing - and my play has consisted of around 85-130 FPS at the highest settings. The movements on the screen are just so smooth and the colors are vivid and beautiful. The brightness is just right. I read another review saying the brightness was a little lacking. I dont agree, its fine. CONS: My only beef with this monitor is where the connections (Power, HDMI, DP, etc..) are located. There is a slot underneath the monitor that you have to squeeze your fingers in to plug in your cables. You basically have to pick up the monitor or lay it down to make these connections and its not a good design in my opinion. So if you constantly plug in a laptop or some external device to this monitor, youre going to be irritated quite often. But if you only plan on plugging in your PC and thats it (one and done), its not that big of a deal. Just something to be aware of when you buy it. OVERALL IMPRESSION: At around $320ish, this monitor is absolutely awesome for the price. I honestly dont know what else youd want unless youre super picky about the small stuff. My gaming experience just went to new heights with this monitor and Id recommend it to anyone.

Fantastic screen! Deep colors and great contrast. Wall mount or other mounting is now possible on the latest model. Months picture you see 4 silver screws on the back, this is where you mount to a wall or arm mount. This monitor is sleek looking, the picture is flawless and smooth at 144hz. Running on a 1070 I achieve 60fps easily in most games.

I bought the new TN panel version of this monitor (GFT27DB) a few weeks after it was released in early 2019. The colors are great, and it is so bright I have it set to 25% brightness in a fully lit room. The best part about the monitor is it doesnt suffer from the main drawback of most TN panels, specifically the off angle viewing is superb for a TN. I have an old TN as a second monitor, and viewing it from even 10 degrees off center makes it dark and washed out, especially viewing it from high or low. Conversely, I can view my new GFT27DB from anywhere in the room and it looks great. There is still a slight change in the picture as you move around, which increases as you exceed about 50 degrees off, but unless I am moving back and forth trying to see the change I dont even notice it. It certainly doesnt have IPS viewing angles, but it is light years ahead of every other TN I have seen. Now that newer NVidia GPUs support Freesync, I paired this monitor with my EVGA GTX 1060 SC 6GB and got Freesync working without issue. The monitor arrives with Freesync off, so you have to turn it on in the monitor menu. I also had to download the latest NVidia graphics card drivers (from EVGA) which added the option to check G-Sync compatible in the NVidia menu. Now Freesync is giving me silky smooth 144 Hz gameplay in Rocket League. I did try to run a 2nd monitor from my GPU while gaming on this monitor, and the frame-rate dropped to a choppy, unplayable level. I used to game on a 60 Hz monitor with a 2nd 60 Hz monitor running as well, but that is no longer possible with my new setup. I dont know if this is a limitation of Freesync, or if it is because my 2nd monitor is a lower resolution, or if G-Sync compatible mode only works with a single monitor setup. In any case, I dont blame the new monitor, but it is an issue I ran into. I also learned that G-Sync compatibility with Freesync only works over Displayport, so I was happy to find the monitor came with a DisplayPort cable in the box. As to cons, the built-in speakers seem like an afterthought. I like having them as a backup, but they are really quiet and hard to hear. I have the monitor on a VESA mount, so I cant say too much about the included stand, other than that I avoided using it because I saw reviews saying it allows a bit of side to side wobble. Im also a little disappointed that the monitor controls are a series of buttons under the bottom right of the screen, rather than a joystick or some other more intuitive method. The buttons are a little hard to use as compared to other monitors I have, as they dont protrude much, and I find myself searching for them for a second or two before I find the right spot. But I consider these minor issues and still think this is an excellent monitor. I bought the GFT27DB because I wanted gaming performance (144 Hz, Freesync, 1ms response time, no ghosting, etc) without sacrificing color and viewing angle. I was about to buy a the VA version of this panel for the better colors and viewing angle at the expense of some response time, but when this improved TN panel was released I took a chance and Im 100% thrilled with my decision.

The main thing I want to share is that this product has clearly been updated since some of the original reviews were posted. A few things I was wary about turned out to be non-issues, so Id like to cover those and what else is great about this monitor. I was concerned about the stand. Many reviews claimed it was decently built but you couldnt adjust the screen angle. The product I received has quite enough movement where the stand meets the panel to allow for any reasonable angle to be set. For me personally, my first panel came with no dead pixels or noticeable issues. Also, it did come with a display port cable capable of 1440p @ 144Hz, though it is quite short - possibly 4ft. The monitor settings were 1440p @ 60Hz by default for me, and its simple enough to get the refresh rate boosted (advanced display settings in Windows). That being said, what I love so far about this panel is the size and the viewing modes (preset). 27" is perfect for me and 1440p looks incredible (4K is debatably overkill for a desktop-size screen, I find 2.5K is a cost-effective FHD upgrade). I tend to use the standard mode (slightly dimmer) for regular web browsing, but the gaming and FPS modes are more suitable for actual gaming. I love that I can swap between these presets. Crosshair "feature" is not only a silly gimmick but clearly was designed by someone who has never played a FPS in their life. The optics are far too busy to be useful, and Ive never met a game that doesnt come equipped with its own crosshairs. Just disregard it and enjoy the monitor as it is. The speakers are also pretty wimpy. I use a $35 mini-soundbar I found online and its far better. Absolutely worth the money overall, I couldnt be happier with it.

I was a little hesitant initially, but once I plugged the monitor in and adjusted some settings (if you want to know my exact settings, please feel free to ask), the outcome speaks for itself. Before this 32" monitor, I was working on 2 - 21.5" 1920 x 1080p monitors; and I needed a 16:9 aspect ratio. Since they dont make a 34" 16:9 monitor, I chose this 32" with a 2540 x 1440p resolution. The curvature is actually very nice for a computer monitor (I would not purchase a curved TV for a living room, or area where more than 1 person is viewing). If youre contemplating going from a smaller monitor to a 32", keep in mind that you will definitely want to have a higher image resolution on the 32". A 32" with 1920 x 1080p will display text/alpha-text fuzzy; so save yourself a headache if you need to read/write. Yes, I do recommend this product, and I would buy it again.

Can be overclocked to 120hz using NVIDIA Control Panel, but its not perfectly stable. I have mine set to 112hz. Works amazing. Great quality. No issues. Easy to clean screen. So much more real estate. Its so much easier using tools like Sony Vegas because the timeline is so long now. Gaming and videos are beautiful. On top of the refresh rate, I play videos on this thing with a program called SVP that interpolates video in MPC-HC and other players, so I can watch old series like Dragon Ball Z with better fluidity than my 120hz 50" HDTV can. Thats the bonus of having it connected to PC. The monitor menu is a little annoying at first but you get used to it. Honestly, once you adjust the monitor to your personal preference after initial setup, you wont even be in the menu anymore anyway. The resolution is gorgeous and the aspect ratio is nearly the same as a theater screen. I dont know if it has audio or not since I use 5.1 SRS via SPDIF cable to my motherboard anyway. Im sure most use external speakers anyway. Also, I found myself for the first time having multiple items on my screen open due to the use of Windows snapping feature. I never used the snap feature before because on a traditional 16:9 I felt there was never enough room, but Im actually using it now and its very beneficial to go browsing while looking at my doorbell camera at the same time. For the price, and for its overclock abilities, and resolution, and quality, youd be crazy to pass up on this if youre looking for a budget gaming monitor or a multitask monitor. UPDATE: After 32 days, a black dead pixel appeared on the upper right area of screen. Im very mad and Im working on setting if theyll replace it. This is ridiculous. Will update once I sort out the after 30 day Amazon return policy.
