ViewSonic VX3216-SCMH-W 32 Inch 1080p 1800R Curved Monitor with Dual Speakers HDMI DVI and VGA

I typically stick with HP displays but HP is slacking on options for a larger-sized monitor with the curve. When I first started using the Viewsonic, I was pretty amazed. My previous monitor was a 28 inch so the larger screen size was a step up. The curve is nice and at first, I was really impressed but in all honesty, after the novelty wore off, I realized that its not life-changing. This particular model is good, despite the somewhat dated refresh rate and other performance-related specs. Im not an expert on displays but for the price, its a decent option. The problem I have experienced is with text. It isnt especially crisp in a full-sized window. Also, when windows open up, they often do so in odd positions on the screen. This is hard to explain but its like the PC doesnt really understand the view. I always have to drag the window to the center. Ill summarize with this: Im happy with it because its large, was inexpensive, and it LOOKS really good on my desk but when I upgrade again, I will definitely spend the extra money for a higher quality display.

This monitor is pretty awesome - I just got it and installed it. Im used to large monitors (I use a Dell P4317Q at work, and this is replacing a Seiki Pro SM40UNP at home) so getting used to the size was a non-issue for me. When I first hooked it up, Windows wanted to scale at 300% making the text WAY too big. The only real problem with it is a design issue. The VESA mounts are WAY high up on the back of the monitor (see the picture). Thats mounted on an Ergotron HX arm, and at the maximum height of that arm, theres only about an inch of clearance between the desk and the monitor. If the mounting holes were more in the center of the monitor, then this would be perfect. I have a motorized standing desk, so its not a HUGE issue for me since its still height adjustable to fit my liking. However, just like with a stand the space at the back of the desk is "wasted" (though I DO have things behind there that I just dont need access to all the time). All in all a good monitor, though!!!!

I bought this from Amazon in the summer of 2018. Great monitor with one exception: The PIP does not support full HD. I originally wanted to run main display from my desktop, and then use PIP for laptop. But it wont work. The maximum PIP size is considerably smaller than 1920x1080 so the monitor scales the laptop input down. The result is a BLURRY DISPLAY. So bear in mind if you think you want to use PIP. I attempted to talk to talk to support about the issue. Several emails were devoting to them denying it. Then a half dozen more just to get them to tell me the max resolution supported by PIP windows. Sad thing is, this could probably be remedied easily with a firmware update. But support showed no interest in fixing it. I have had lots of VS monitors over the years and generally like them. However in this case, I wish I had chosen LG instead.

This is a great monitor colors are excellent , I am sorry to say I have to return it,, It is my mistake the monitor was to large at 32"inches And trying for a smaller size . Will return today PS the seller was excellent 3/23/19 Thank You
