Monitor is great. No question. Unfortunately mine is defective. It has an intermittent issue where the screen wigs out. Can happen 3 times in a day; can work perfectly for 2 weeks. Have confirmed with Viewsonic that they will only repair and not replace. Have also confirmed they have no policy for intermittent issues and will likely plug it in, see it works and return it to me unrepaired. After $40 in shipping costs and 2 weeks without my monitor.

So far the set up was easy. The picture looks good. But very disappointed no Remote like my HP Envy 32". Without a remote I have to get up to switch my view this is a ridiculous situation for a 43" monitor. This is a bad customer service experience in my mind. If I had know the youtube reviews indicating a remote came with this monitor I would have passed on buying this monitor. Had this included a remote I most likely would have given it a 5 star rating.

Setting up this monitor is extremely difficult thanks to unacceptably poor documentation. It ships with a ONE PAGE quick start guide in probably 8 languages. It’s useless. The online documentation is not much better. There’s a USB hub on the monitor…zero documentation. The many complex ports are not clearly labeled and far from intuitive. Downloaded driver software do not install correctly, either. That being said, I was able to reach customer service and talk to a real person twice with mixed results. After frustrating trial and error, the monitor is up and running and is AWESOME and GORGEOUS.

This is a nice monitor, but will occasionally "go blank" but immediately re-display the screen. May happen once per every day or two. Monitor menu controls (brightness, etc.) hard to reach (placed in a bad position) and not straight forward.
