This is a warning to anyone considering this monitor - Turn around now and go the other direction. This is a scam. The price looked too good to be true, and it was. I purchased this monitor as new. I received a refurb monitor in fair condition. Cosmetic scratches. This monitor does come with instructions, handily printed in every language except English. This monitor does not include a power supply. This monitor does not include a cable to hook to your computer. This monitor does not include a DVI port. I had a spare HDMI cable when I received this monitor, and was able to power it with a cord from another device (it uses a standard CPU power cable). HDMI does not function. Both computers I tried it on found an audio driver and were able to play audio through the monitor. Neither were able to provide video. I went out and purchased a VGA cable and a DP cable. Neither one were able to provide video. These monitors are being sent out used, not new, and in the case of mine, dead on arrival.

Great monitor, exceptionally happy with the purchase. I wanted a monitor for productivity (not gaming) that had built in speakers and this fit the bill. The picture is bright and clear, exceptionally happy with that. Text looks very sharp. And the internal speaks are very clear, as good as free standing external speakers. I looked at 1080p monitors before buying this and the difference in quality is night and day. For a 32" monitor meant for business or productivity going with this resolution over 1080p is a must. Only negative is the stand is not adjustable, so if you have an odd desk configuration consider that.

I bought two of these to use as my main workstation monitors, and theyre pretty much the exact right compromise between size and resolution when you no longer have the eyesight that let you run those weird 1152x864 resolutions on your 15 inch CRT in the 90s. These replaced a 43 inch 4K monitor that I wanted to use for a primary monitor, but its just too big to take in at a glance, so its now sitting on the left of these two guys, and i drag all my rarely used windows onto it now. Suck it, rarely used windows.

This review is for the ViewSonic VX3211-4K-MHD 32 inch version. I believe the description is incorrect on the sRGB %. The manufactures page says this particular model is 95% sRGB. The 2K model only is 99% sRGB. Im not saying this is a con, I am just pointing that out. For the 32" 4k market, there is some competition at this price point. I do not believe any of that competition rolls up this many features into one product, however. Beautiful display, tons of brightness and contrast, HDR10 capability, 8-bit+Hi-FRC (perfectly acceptable at this price point), 95% or better color coverage (advertised), 2x HDMI 2.0 ports, 1x DP 1.2, integrated speakers 2x2.5W, PIP, VESA mountable, and so on. Getting all that for this price is actually a very good deal, and I do not believe there is a single other monitor that includes all that or better/more for anywhere near this price. You would have to spend hundreds more to surpass the complete feature set of this monitor. The primary target audience for this monitor is budget conscious content creators and/or those looking to double duty a computer monitor as a small room entertainment screen. Pro content creators will want that better sRGB color coverage/10-bit. 95% sRGB and 8-bit+Hi-FRC is nothing to sneeze at, but will just not be good enough for pro level content creation. Gamers will hate this monitor for the most part. Refresh rates and response times are too slow for those users. Casual users will find this product too big/expensive. For novice content creation, this is probably the best choice under 400 bucks. I find the colors very vibrant and true, contrast is excellent, and the dynamic range to be great. Out the box the calibration is very good. I have run this monitor in 4k, 1440p and 1080p, and all look pretty fantastic. The speakers are weak, but serviceable. There is an audio out. The interface buttons and OSD menus are not great, and can be very awkward to use. There is a bit of a learning curve with that. The viewing angles are at least above average, as expected for an IPS panel. Both HDMI ports are HDMI 2.0 (b, I think), which allows for 4k 60Hz provided you have a good video card. Cable management behind the monitor is largely absent, however, I was able to bend and hide the cables rather well. You will need a zip tie or Velcro strap to do it. Stability is good, and the monitor is tiltable. However, you cannot adjust the height. Overall, I would buy this again for my use. I do spend a lot of time doing content creation for our personal use, and this monitor is pretty darn good for that. You will want two profiles saved. One for content creation and another for general use. I would not recommend this for the serious gamer, as the refresh is just too low and you are better off with a 1440p 144Hz monitor. You will need pretty good hardware to run this monitor up to its potential. Integrated graphics has gotten better, but your computer will run pretty hard to drive 4k 60Hz with it even just for basic tasks. I would say an Nvidia 1050/1050ti is probably the minimum you will want to have, though the experience will be much better with a 1060 or higher. If you are using Davinci Resolve, you will want a 1080/2070 or better.

When I turn on the PC, most of the times, the monitor keeps flickering. If I reboot the computer, then it starts to work. When I bought it, I was too busy and and did not return it with in 30 days. After 30 days, I had to talk to ViewSonic support. They asked me to ship it back. They would evaluate it. If they find anything wrong, they will ship me a refurbished monitor. I did not like the idea of getting a refurbished monitor when I payed of a new one. Anyway, the monitor works most of the time. When it doesnt work, I have to reboot the PC, sometimes multiple times. It is very frustrating. I wouldnt buy this brand again.

Great monitor....when you can get it to wake up. Once it goes to sleep, its gone. Tried HDMI and DP cables, same results. Tried multiple machines. Once this monitor goes to sleep it will not wake up. I found a work around to get it to display by powering off the monitor, putting the machine to sleep then wake the machine and power on the monitor at the exact same time and the monitor would wake up. Nothing else would cause the monitor to come out of sleep. Removed all sleep settings on the monitor and machines. Ensured there were no sleep timers, power saving modes, etc. Ended up returning and getting a BenQ monitor that actually wakes up.

Bought this to replace an aging 2K Dell 30", and I have been very impressed by the clarity, but more than that, the color accuracy out of the box. I primarily use this for graphic design work, and it has been a dream to both look at and use. 4K allows substantial working space, while the color profile and contrast are beautiful. For gaming, this monitor is okay, but with a 60hz refresh rate max, you wont be 360 no-scoping your way to Battlefield V glory, chicken dinners, or Fortnite dances anytime soon. Very sharp and clear, but if gaming is your priority, youll have to spend more and get a monitor intended for gaming, with a high refresh rate. Excellent at what it was designed for, at a great price. I heartily recommend this monitor to everyone but hardcore gamers.

I bought this monitor mainly for software development. I wanted something large with decent real estate to be easy on the eyes. This monitor fits the job perfectly. As you can see in the picture, it is huge! The left monitor is a 27inch which is dwarfed by the massive 32inch monitor. It also has a built in option for blue light filtration to be even nicer on the eyes. Buy this monitor if you stare at a screen all day. It will save your eyes!

I have been using almost a year, and I am happy with my purchase. The color is vivid and screen is bright. But there are couple of downside I found. First, the stand is very awful. You cannot adjust height and the bottom is Y shaped. So it takes unnecessary space. Second, the panel interface is very awful. Its still pain in ass for me to change mode between first HDMI and second HMDI input. The interface indication is kinda confusing. Otherwise, it is a very good product simply for performance per its price. Id suggest you to get wall mount instead of default stand in it.

For the last 20 years, Ive been an enthusiastic customer of Viewsonic; that is, until this monitor. I received a DOA, but this wasnt just any DOA experience. At first, I thought that maybe it was the random dud...until reading the other Amazon reviews. There is a distinct and obvious pattern with the defects reported. Monitor connects to computer but No Signal appears - then goes to sleep, never to awaken. Control buttons are unresponsive. Swapping cables doesnt work. Installing drivers doesnt work. The defects are consistent across reviews, the manufacturer is clearly aware of the problem, and yet the monitor it is still posted for sale on Amazon. Whats even more suspect is reports (look at US and UK Amazon sites to get an impression of this), of customers getting a DOA, then filing *multiple* warranty requests, each time getting more DOAs! Rather than recalling the product, or at the very least admitting guilt of the high-incidence defects, Viewsonics standard reply to their customers is "File a Warranty." One might be tempted to think that the company is at least trying to help. But Id encourage you to read the other 1-star reviews, which at the time of this writing, is 14% of total reviews, with the rest 5-star reviews. Either people love the monitor (it works), or it catastrophically fails. Why is this? To answer this question - first ask yourself, why is this monitor so cheap? Could it be that Viewsonic enlists unwitting customers of their products to act as unpaid stand-ins for a Quality Control department? Of course, nothing is sweeter to the bottom line than testing in production! Why test your products when you can just wait for complaints to arrive, then tell people to "File a Warranty?" Then when they get a 2nd DOA from the warranty claim, tell them to keep filing warranties until you hit a good one! As a business owner, I cant afford to deal with these types of shenanigans from a manufacturer. Do Quality Control on your products, or you lose loyal customers. You wont get away with spraying untested products onto customers for very long. The executives at Viewsonic must have recently taken classes from the General Motors School of Business, and quite frankly it makes me sick to the stomach. If you want to be a technology guinea pig and roll the dice for the low price, buy this monitor. If you want something that will work, look elsewhere. I have always loved Viewsonic monitors, and its sad to say goodbye. I really wanted this monitor to work, but sadly, this kind of behavior from the manufacturer is unacceptable. Everyone who chooses to undergo the warranty rigmarole after being thrust into an unpaid QC role will only encourage this companys behavior, whereas enough negative reviews will incentivize the manufacturer to get their act together. For now, I will be taking my business to another monitor manufacturer, even if I have to pay another $50 for a product that has been certified to work.
