I saw a lot of product reviews talking about a 4K monitor and being disappointed that the display didnt actually go up to that resolution but this is the the 2K version. Im still VERY impressed with the picture quality so far even though its not full 4K. Honestly, even if I had a 4K display, Id probably tune it down to 2K since it still looks amazing and allows games to run more smoothly. UPDATE: 2-months later and this monitor is still amazing. I like it VERY much for gaming and even general office use. The colors are so vivid and the picture is incredibly sharp. No regrets! I feel like my new Google Pixelbook i7 has a fantastic display and this relatively inexpensive monitor was pretty close except on a MUCH larger display. Ive played Ark: Survival and Fortnite (UPDATE: I played Devil My Cry 5 on ultimate video settings which looks AMAZING too!) on it so far and it makes me wonder how I ever managed with my other wimpy 19" monitor. The colors are very vivid and the picture is really clear right out of the box. I was able to crank the resolution up to 2K from my gaming laptop with both HDMI and VGA connections with no trouble. Ill have to wait to get my new gaming PC before I can test the Display port option. NOTE: The monitor only comes with an HDMI cable. UPDATE: I finally got my new gaming PC and WOW, what a great view. Im using the display port with no problems. Ive had the monitor for a couple of weeks now and Im seriously tempted to get a second one to create a giant panoramic screen with dual monitors. Ive also had ZERO issues with flicker, the display cutting out or getting the display to "wake up". I got the extended warranty just-in-case but its not looking like Im going to need it so far. Its a really solid product. Also, theres a little handle that screws into the back of the monitor which looks like a small antenna. Just FYI, thats to hang your headphones/headset on while not in use. I like the fact that I have a place to store my headset thats accessible but also somewhat hidden and out of place. Overall, you cant really beat it for a monitor this size and quality under $300. I guess the only real "con" to this monitor is that the built-in speakers are kinda weak sounding, but, I mean seriously... who is gonna buy a monitor this big for gaming and not either have a decent external speaker setup or use a Dolby 5.1 headset at least? The fact that it has speakers at all is a bonus in my opinion.

I have to say until I spent some time calibrating these things I wasnt very impressed. But after some tinkering, and side by side with my old system... WOW you cant really go wrong here. I got mine for $389, but even at normal price they would be worth it. The HDR and Feesync are both working flawlessly with my RTX2080. From what I can tell there are complaints with every 4k monitor out there, and the only one that made me drop a star was that these will randomly wake look for a source and shut back off when my system is off, So I actually have to hit the power button to keep them cycling all night. I have 2 and calibrating them was like I said a pain, but relatively easy with Nvidia software

Wow... Got this monitor yesterday and it worked beautifully. Woke up this morning and it flashes the power on screen and then says "no connection detected" and powers off. Grrrrrrrr... I guess Ill have to pay for shipping it back for replacement and keep my fingers crossed that the replacement will work. Dont buy this monitor.

For the price the monitor is nice I suppose. But it only took me a day to find a handful of dead pixels on the screen. I thought it was a spec of dust at first. That started me looking with an all white background and sure enough about 3 or 4 dead pixels. They were small and hard to spot at first but once you know they are there your eye is drawn to them.

I nearly sent this monitor back because of lagging frame rate. Then decided to try purchasing a DisplayPort cable as a last resort instead of using HDMI. Now I love it and theres no lag! Love this monitor!

Since receiving this monitor, I have been wrestling with finding a cable to support it, there are hundreds of USB-C to HDMI cables out there but very few actually support this monitor effectively. Even with an HDMI to HDMI cable connecting to a USB-C dongle to my 15" MacBook Pro, I have trouble with the monitor flickering from time to time. When booting up, it takes a good 2-3 minutes for this monitor to come up. I have two Viewsonic 27" LED monitors that come right up and theyre both DVI to USB-C. This 4k 32" monitor flickers and takes a long time to boot, very frustrating. For the money, youd think this was a much better experience and frankly, this is the first ViewSonic monitor Ive had since the 80s that was a disappointment.

Owned for just over 2 months, great quality monitor at a great price. Zero dead pixels on arrival, easy set up, easy adjustment. The menu/button layout is not the most user friendly, takes a few minutes to get used to. Despite non "gaming refresh rate," no blurring has been noticed. (Note: MMO/RTS games predominantly. Black Ops 4 and Overwatch being the only FPS type games, no blurring noticed during these games either (powered by an EVGA GTX 1070 SC)). Overall, definitely a 5 star monitor for the price of a 2-3 star monitor. 5/5 would definitely buy again and recommend to anyone looking for a 32" 1440p monitor without breaking the bank.

NO DEAD PIXELS! Looks great! I even mounted it on an adjustable monitor mount. The main use for this monitor for me is playing World of Warcraft so the response time is not an issue. I don’t play FPS games or anything that requires CRT-like performance. I have seen others say that this monitor has very strong red colors. This is true. I used the nVidia control panel to slightly reduce the red gamma level, so now it looks excellent.

Great monitor! Like having four regular monitors or enlarge two windows on screen. For video or image viewing, one super sized window is great. I have an older Nvidia card and had to set a custom profile for the native resolution and overlay scanning to prevent a flicker in the top corner from the card trying to drive this monitor. Check your card specs to see if it supports 2k.
