I prefer monitors with DisplayPort and USB hubs built-in. This fits the bill and works great when using optional hardware to mount an Intel NUC to the VESA mount. It does require some modification to the stand to make it work with the ViVo NUC VESA Mount. All you have to do is break off the tabs on the top of the stand and mount the bracket with a set of spacers. This monitor has a very thin bezel and sharp image with great color. Highly recommended, even over Dell Ultrasharp. I do wish there was a soundbar available for this monitor. Otherwise you cant go wrong!

I bought these a couple of days ago to use with my new standing desk. I work at a desk all day, and they were PC Mags top pick for a midline professional monitor. So far, they are absolutely incredible! Color quality is amazing and there are like 10 different profiles to chose from. I personally chose to go with sRGB. It is really pleasing on the eyes when you are sitting 18-24" away from the monitors. The native setting was way too bright and straining for me. Ill give this an update around the 3-month mark. Of note, I have them daisy chained and connected directly to a MDP port on my laptop. One of the things they dont tell you is that daisy chaining is not supported through standard docking stations. I had to call Viewsonic tech support to learn this. I do believe that Lenovo has a docking station with two DP ports on it, but my company didnt purchase those.

First and foremost, I’d like to point out that I am not a photographer, nor a video editor or some kind of professional who absolutely needed a color accurate, professionally calibrated monitor. I simply wanted a 32in monitor that had a beautiful IPS Panel , with slim bezels and a decent stand. That’s exactly what I received but this monitor is not perfect. Details below: Cons: Price: This is marketed as a professional monitor, so I guess the price is rather reasonable. However, my monitor has a few issues that it should not have for the over $800 price range. Dead Pixel(s): As soon as I got the monitor, I ran several quality control/screen consistency tests and I quickly discovered a dead pixel. The pixels are so tiny, I think the dead pixel might actually be two pixels very close together. The dead pixels were not a big deal as I NEVER notice them, so I didn’t send it back or contact Viewsonic about it. Screen Black- Out Issue: A few times a week, the screen will black out for 2-3 seconds. This issue is infrequent enough for me to tolerate it but it is one that has popped up in several forums online. Mounting: There is NO VESA Mounting holes on this monitor of any sort..so youre pretty much stuck with the stand that comes with it. :-( Pros: BEAUTIFUL IPS screen. The colors on this thing are vivid and punchy, despite the matte coating - which is very light and clear but excellent at avoiding light reflections. 4K resolution on this sized screen is perfect, EVERYTHING IS SHARP. Sexy Design: I’d challenge you to find a 32inch 4K monitor with smaller bezels, a nicer stand and an overall sexier design. The tiny bezels make playing pc games or watching 4K content a wonderful and at times a breathtaking experience! Options: LOTS of picture options for professionals, general media consumers and any and all others in between! Summary: Overall, I think that this monitor is excellent and I do not regret the purchase whatsoever. Is this monitor worth the price? I imagine it might be if you’re a professional who can use it for all its worth. If you’re a simple person who wants a 4K monitor for web browsing and medium consumption, you can save $350 dollars and get another 4K monitors at half the price.

I purchased this as a main monitor for my aging, 10 year old Eizo. I will continue to use the Eizo. Frankly, this monitor is pretty boring. I have it running in the photo mode, RGB, Uniform off. Its just OK. I hate the location of the usb ports, very hard to get to once the screen is on the mount. Really, kind of worthless. The cabling is in the way, too. The controls are super inconvenient where they are, too. My monitor is next to a second one, and I have to move it to get to the controls. The supplied cable was worthless. Who has a computer with that connection? Not my video card. So I had to steal an HDMI cable from the TV. This monitor reminds me of an old Dell monitor, about six years of. Except it has better color. I think most people will find this monitor OK, but if you work on a monitor for graphic design, layout and photography, dont expect this to be adequate. The 24 inch at 16:9 is pitifully undersized and the display just isnt that impressive. But neither is my income from this work, so Im stuck using the bargain monitors. Hope my Eizo lasts a few more years.

Great so far, no dead pixels and the usb ports are a great bonus. I have not tested the auto-rotate feature because I have it connected to my notebook and this feature will not work as a secondary display. Will update after I have finished my pc build. P.S. go to the viewsonic support page for the latest drivers for the added features. June 2019 A year and a half later and still no complaints, the auto rotate works great. It comes in handy when editing pictures or reading pdf documents. I am about to buy another one for a dual monitor setup.

Wow, what an awesome picture! I’m using the the SonicView VP2768 in dual monitor setup with a VIVO dual monitor desk mount. What a difference between the Curved Samsung C27H711QEN that I picked up on Black Friday and the new SonicView. Even though the resolution was the same, the ViewSonic has a much better picture. I wanted a to get a curved monitor so bad but after the disappointing picture of the Samsung, I returned it and went on a research journey that went on for days. I used it for Office work, Photo and Video editing. I also purchased the VIVO dual monitor desk mount. The monitors fit perfectly and look amazing with the thin bezel. Only complaint I have is that the USB and DP Cable are a little to short for my standing-desk and VIVO mount setup. My workstation is right under the desk but as specialty the DP cord is about 6 inches to short when desk is in standing position.

ViewSonic VP2768 PRO 27" 1440p Monitor with 100% sRGB PLUGGED AND PLAYED at 2560x1440 2K resolution on Mac Pro 2010 (macOS Sierra 10.12) and original Apple OEM ATI Radeon hd 5770 video card (plugged into one of the two 5770s built-in mini display ports). I connected them via the Mini DP to DP (Mini DisplayPort to Display Port) cable that came in the box (no adapter or DVI cables needed). Moreover, the same port/cable connection achieved 2560x1440 2K resolution on Mac mini 2012 (macOS Mojave 10.14) plugged into the Macminis Thunderbolt 1 port. WOW! Im going to try the Manufacturers recommended "active Mini DisplayPort to HDMI adapter" to see if I can run both Macs on the same monitor. The HDMI plugs into the monitors HDMI 1.4 port, and the Mini DisplayPort plugs into the Mac minis Thunderbolt 1 port. That way both Macs can share the one monitor (just switch the input to the desired port).

Insanely clear calibration out of the box -- each monitor calibrated at factory before shipping. Colors are extremely true and screens can get very bright. Build is very sturdy, attractive, and easy to setup. Id agree with others that the daisy chaining is a bit tricky and couldve come with clearer instructions though. Overall would buy again, especially at a <$400 price point.

This monitor was - unfortunately - a huge disappointment. While the colors are very nice, and the brightness is good (if you turn off Uniformity). There are some serious flaws with this screen that made me return it. Im attempting to replace an old 24" NEC which was capable of 100% sRGB and had EXTREMELY good viewing angles and uniformity. I will be plugging the NEC back in until I find a reasonable replacement. This Viewsonic has noticeable backlight bleeding in all 4 corners and gets even worse when not viewing from perfectly centered in front of the screen. The pictures I included show the screen from a normal viewing distance of about 3.5. The angled shot was taken only about 1 higher than center. This is an absolutely unacceptable amount of angle sensitivity. Due to the size of this screen, there is NO part of the screen that wont appear washed out due to bad angles when moving your head position. (Note, these photos were taken with Uniformity ON. It only gets worse when you turn it off to get a reasonable brightness) On top of this terrible shortcoming, this 4k panel showed noticeable tearing toward the bottom of the screen during any kind of full screen motion. Scrolling pages, full motion video, and even switching tasks had a visible flicker/tearing. I believe this is from a lack of FreeSync or similar feature. I was feeding the screen with the appropriate cable, resolution and refresh rate. This is also unacceptable. There were other minor issues I had, including uneven vignetting across the bottom 1/2", slight color shift from one side of the panel to the other, and though Id almost never use them, the USB ports are terribly hard to reach.
