ViewSonic VA2252SM_H2 22 Inch Dual Pack Head-Only 1080p LED Monitors with DisplayPort DVI and VGA

I was setting up a home office for my wife, and she needed a pair of monitors with good picture quality, reasonable response time, and vesa mounting. Dont expect these guys to be gaming monsters or good for high intensity graphics. They are more designed for basic computer use, but what they do, they do well. They mounted to the vesa desk clamp easily, have more than enough ports to satisfy video input needs, and are clear and bright. Its also nice not to have to deal with figuring out what to do with the desk stands most monitors come with that we just dont need. This is a good BASIC monitor. Look at something a bit more expensive if you want fast gaming or impressive graphic support.

I have purchased 20 of these Monitors now for my office and they have worked out good. Paying anywhere from $94-$114 between Staples and Amazon they are a decent bargain display. Right at $100 and you get a 22" , Full HD panel with a displayport input and built in speakers and its VESA mount friendly. This was exactly what we were looking for to replace some of the aging LCD panels with that annoying square aspect ratio. Picture quality is exactly what I expected from a $100 panel, but perfectly fine for what we use them for. Mostly office work and Electronic Medical Records.

I ordered 10 of these to replace older, smaller LCDs on employee desks. They came in from 3 different warehouses. All arrived in great condition, installation was a breeze, and they all work flawlessly. No dead pixels, no dead ports, all the functions and features work perfectly.

Works perfectly well for general use. Have not used for high-end gaming. Bezel is a bit thick - may not be ideal if youre building a video wall setup. DisplayPort input, but no displayport output so cannot be used for daisychaining. Great buy for multi-monitor general use.

First, read the details carefully as these monitors do not have HDMI. Having said that, the Display Ports on both monitors are dead. So I had to buy multiple cords and converters just to get these to work. Once I did they are great monitors. Very disappointed with the lack of HDMI but that was my fault for not doing my research.

Just got my new set of ViewSonic 24" yesterday. Packaging was excellent, like a little suitcase. They bolted right on to my Ergotron steel stand. Turns out that these ViewSonics are actually slightly taller (and heavier) that my older DELL 24s. So I just had to remove the little plastic dust covers on the clamps, and snug down the bracket hinges. Needed two 1/2" wrenches. Now, all good. Highly recommend these.

One of the monitors appears to have a loose connection somewhere inside. If I touch it, or bump my desk hard, or close a drawer with panache, it goes black. Power remains on, though. Sometimes it "reboots"; sometimes I have to power it off and on. Other than that, the screens are beautiful.

I use a dual monitor system in my home office. I am an accountant, so no gaming. I didnt want to mess with my video card, which had DVI-D cables to my old monitors. I ordered two of these monitors, plugged them in, and did absolutely nothing else. They worked first time. I didnt have to adjust a single thing. They are very clear, fit nicely side by side and the refresh rate is great. No complaints at all. And the price was great.

Its not a high-performance game display, because the reaction time is slow. But, it makes a GREAT office and work display.

This monitor is advertised as having a 7ms response time, but theres no way thats accurate. Even scrolling text gets blurry fast, and the response time setting on the monitor just changes the blur from white to black. If all you want is a monitor to read websites and emails on, then youre fine. But if youre watching video or playing anything faster than solitaire, give it a pass.
