Bought 2 of these for work/play. 2 large monitors cannot be sitting on your desk so one of the very first things I looked for was if they can be mounted, to which it clearly states that they can. So, I bought 2. Unwrapped 1, began to set it up and low and behold... no fricken mount holes. It wouldnt be that bad on the desk but the thing sits less than 3" off the desk. Weak sauce.

Very pleased with the monitor. Curvature was weird first but got used to it in a day. My first monitor had a stuck green which I couldnt make go away ( i tried pressing, switch it on and off and also tried the color flickering videos on youtube. Fortunately, Amazon was nice enough to send me a new one which arrived in 2 days. They didnt even require to send the other one back first. This one has no issues thank god. You need a display cable for freesync (and g sync). Wont work with supplied hdmi cable. You also need to turn freesync on in settings. The nipple pad and the on-screen menu is a headache. I was constantly exiting the menu instead of stepping down on the list. I think a grew a couple of new white hairs because of it. It has a lot worse light bleed than my older monitor. Also, the very sides look darker to me when browsing the web. They are not much visible in games. I like to play on it tho. Games look awesome. v sync off and no more screen tearing. YAY!

I use this monitor mainly for writing software (not for gaming). Mostly apps like visual studio where you have a lot of windows open. At 32" with the 1800R curve I find the curve is subtle and easy on the eyes for reading text near the edges. Unfortunately the speaker is too quiet and I have to turn the volume to 100%. I wish it was 20% louder. I have a quiet work environment so its OK for me but in a noisy environment I wouldnt be able to use it. I bought this model mainly because its the only 32" 1800R I could find with a built in speaker. Unfortunately I find the dual inputs almost unusable; if you have auto-switching turned on, when I reboot my PC its switches to the other input and I miss messages during the boot process. If you turn auto-switching off, and you power your PC off, YOU CANNOT get to the input menu to change it to the other input. You have to physically switch the cables. Not very well thought out. So I bought a 4K@60Hz KVM switch and only use 1 input on the monitor and that works well. I also wish the stand was adjustable, it could be an 1" higher IMO. Make sure you go into your Windows Adjust ClearType text settings after setting it up. I give it 4 stars, the picture is amazing, no flicker and no dead pixels. Minus 1 star for low volume speaker, non-adjustable stand and dual inputs that dont work well.

I was very excited to get this monitor, but random black screens have plagued my gaming experience. Ive tried swapping cables (HDMI). Tried turning Scaling Mode to Full Panel. I confirmed the monitor is in 144hz mode in Windows 10 settings. I re-installed my drivers for my RX580..... I confirmed the power supply was fully inserted into my surge protector AND the back of the monitor (as some suggested it might be poor power causing black screens). The only thing that stopped the random black outs was turning off FreeSync, which sucks because that is why I bought this item. There were no drivers or even manuals shown on the ViewSonic website and sadly they dont have weekend phone support to discuss this, so plan to initiate a return of the item today.

As far as Ive found in my research, this is a Samsung panel, so it will have great picture quality and contrast. There is a bit of backlight bleed on the panel I got, but its not really noticeable during gaming or watching movies. This is the first high refresh rate display Ive owned, and Im definitely very happy with it. I did order the protection plan, because its a no brainer for a multi hundred dollar display. The only issue that I have is that the menu buttons are very hard to reach with a multi-monitor setup. I was a bit disappointed that the only panels at this price are curved displays, and I think its kinda gimmicky. Thankfully, you dont really notice it after extended use. Overall, the display is fantastic. I definitely recommend this panel if you dont want to break the bank, but also have all the fancy modern features of newer panels.

After using this monitor for a couple months now, the experience has been alright. Pros: Menu control is easy to use and input ports are located on the back of the monitor instead of underneath it. Screen is vibrant after playing around with the settings on both my pc & monitor settings. Supports 144hz and looks clean. Cons: The housing around the screen feels cheap. I noticed a few dead pixels in the upper right hand corner of the screen. Im still debating on whether to rma it but it isnt bothering me too much. I purchased this for 389 and sometimes I feel as if I shouldve paid a couple hundred bucks more for a premium monitor. There is no Gsync for this monitor which would help for some of the games I play (mostly fps). The tearing may be due to a bottleneck on my cpu for some of these games but after Ive built my new rig, Ill be able to hopefully alleviate or reduce this issue. Going from TN to MVA is very noticeable when gaming. I sometimes wonder if this monitor actually is 144hz during fast paced gaming situations. Conclusion: This is my first 1440p curved monitor and for the most part, Im okay with the monitor. I bought this monitor to test how I would like increased real estate & the curved monitor. This monitor is nothing spectacular but it is definitely a big step up from 1080p. I may take the leap on IPS panels soon. Updte: With Nvidia announcing support for Freesync, this monitor would not be a good choice for fast paced shooters. I noticed it flickers when Freesync is enabled & paired with my 1080ti. Also the response time increases.

This monitor has only one drawback and that the fact the stand is not adjustable - not a deal breaker because the colors are great and white is white not some off shade of white. This 32 inch curved monitor is beautiful and easy on the eyes. I know this is a free sync monitor so it shouldnt work on an Nvidia video card, but for some reason beyond my understanding it works perfectly at 144z refresh on my wifes system. I bought this monitor knowing full well that it shouldnt work with her computer system, but because the size and quality were needed more than the refresh rate. The price was 200.00 less than the equivalent monitor running Gsync for use with an Nvidia video card. I cant promise that this monitor will work with your Nvidia card system, but it still might. This monitor was purchased for my wife who spend too much time working from home on her computer system. The size was very important and so was the blue filter to protect her eyes from prolonged usage. This has been a great investment for someone I love! P.S. I spent weeks researching monitors so hopefully this review will save you some time and money as well. My wifes video card is Nvidia 1050 TI.

No VESA mount, I dont believe the stand is height adjustable that it comes with either, and it comes with only a dinky HDMI cable ($400 monitor,1440p@144hz and they cant even give you a displayport cable?) and the power plug uses a small plug to a power brick to the thicker standard power plug, advantages and disadvantages but kind of obnoxious because the brick almost didnt reach the floor (weight/stress on the cable), and its needlessly long compared to the 4 foot or something HDMI cable they gave.

This is my first curved monitor and my first ViewSonic. I can say that it is the BEST monitor I have ever had! I love the crisp presentation and the brilliance of the display. As a matter of fact, I like it so well that I just ordered one for my son. Super Duper happy!!!

What is good: 1. Picture is good enough for FHD resolution. 2. Turning On is fast. What is bad: 1. Too much idiots worked on this monitor and it is a big stigma on ViewSonic name. The first idiot introduced the joystick button and placed it on the rear wall. The second idiot(s) allowed it into final design. This button is very hard to use, especially when monitor is in furniture or in tight space. 2. There is no height adjustment, only for tilt. 3. Speakers are not good even for office usage. I cannot recommend this monitor for any serious user. Only for limited office use. Recent update: Joystick knob practically stopped to work. It constantly shows me that the power knob is locked. I cannot turn off this monitor and going to throw it away. It is garbage after only4 months of usage. Do not buy this monitor as well as any with joystick knob.
