This is an excellent monitor. 1080p display clarity on this 24" monitor just stands out of all other competing monitors i have researched so far. before buying this monitor i had spent some time reviewing different monitors from Acer,HP as well as from Dell. somehow i did not liked any of them as display looked either very bleak or washed out. S2415H comes with built in speakers which are pretty decent for basic home video/movie watching experience. Thin bezels in this monitor actually enhances viewing experience and adds premium look. monitor stand does allow to adjust angle but there is no support to adjust height, just consider this factor if adjusting height is very important for you. there are no built-in USB port in this monitor, for me this was not a requirement since i am using Logitech 520 which is an amazing unified wireless keyboard/mouse product. this monitor is very light weight and installation and setup took hardy 15mins. Dell has done a very good job calibrating this monitor in factory itself, it saved a lot of my time. i could have have saved 40-50$ by buying a cheaper 1080p monitor from buying another Dell monitor (2415HM) but after looking at this monitor at a local store i decided additional 50$ for this monitor was worth. Dell does has Ultra sharp U series but its and additional 100$+ which i was not comfortable spending. Amazon as usual stand out of line when it comes to offer best price as well super fast delivery.

I got this monitor for practically a steal at $149.99. This is a great IPS display for office work and general use. I have it connected via HDMI and picture quality is very good. I dont need accurate colors for my work so I cant really comment how accurate they truly are, but it looks very good from all reasonable angles. The only major con of this monitor is that it doesnt have DisplayPort support. It would be much nicer to daisy-chain multiple of these monitors together. The bezel is plenty thin to have these side by side very nicely. Also, the screen is fairly glossy, so if you sit near a window, you may want to find something with a more matte display.

Its big (thats what she said), sleek, and modern looking. Love the touch panel buttons on the bottom right. It matches my Dell 21.5" S2340M dual monitors. But I cannot believe this did not have DVI input. Easily solved with an adapter but I noticed when using an adapter the quality somewhat diminishes. The average person may not see it but I look at 3 monitors 18 hours a day, 8 times a week so I see it.

played with settings, but couldnt get brightness and color exactly how I wanted. Love the thin bezels and added screen real estate with two of these suckers!

This is a very good monitor and quite happy with the purchase. The monitor is good and hard to beat at this price. I did a lot of research before buying and very happy with the choice. That being said here is why I gave it four stars: - Speaker power is not strong. They work certainly, but are limited. - No height adjustment. - No VGA cable in box, just HDMI. - Not an issue for me, but screen is glossy. Would be an issue if you have strong light on it. Other than these points, this is a solid monitor.

Plus. The Monitor is crisp, clear and clean. You get the whole screen, with very little size added on for edge plastic. Brightness and color are consistent to the edge of the monitor. Minus: Stand does not adjust, connectors are recessed deep into the underside of the back that it difficult to reach under and behind to connect "by feel" Im happy with the monitor, once it was installed. Its the size that I wanted, but the rigid stand stand is rather unfriendly. The screen is bright, clear, and without distortion. The "best" feature was the low price, which makes this a very choice for budget minded buyers who want a large monitor (like me)

Ive never had a goods screen prior to using this monitor and I can boldly say that Id refuse to use a matte screen again. The bezels on the side are thin and it makes this monitor what it is. Im a web developer and have no issues with this monitor except for the following ... NOTE: There is very noticeable light bleed on the top corner of my perticular monitor and after going through the reviews, its a common thing. Ive opted not to return mine because it really isnt a huge issue and a sub $200 monitor isnt something I purchased for awe and glory. Ill actually be getting another one regardless of the light bleed seeing as its not noticable while browsing the web or even while watching YouTube.

I bought two of these screens for work. Overall, the picture and quality are very nice. Everything is very crisp, bright and clean. However, the actual screen texture is so smooth it is almost glass-like. This leaves a very reflective surface that can make it hard to read with any bright lights or sun coming through the window. I might have to look into an anti-glare film to help resolve this issue. Otherwise it is a a very good product.

6/5/2018: I bought this monitor through Amazon Warehousedeals so take this review with a grain of salt. The description of the item was that it would come repackaged and that that was the only difference - it did and thats fine and what I expected, sure Ill take different packing to save $45. Upon unboxing it, I immediately noticed that the back of the monitor had some noticeable scuffing and cosmetic damage. This was NOT listed in the warehouse deal description. Okay, not great but I can deal with it. I ran some test youtube videos with a range of colors and the monitor looked pretty good. Good colors, looked sleek with the small bezel, etc. Im no monitor expert but it looked as it should as far as I could tell. What I could not deal with and the reason that this gets two stars instead of me simply not reviewing it is that this monitor had a noticeable group of magenta pixels that appeared whenever the screen went black. Im glad that I ran test videos on it when I took it out of the box or I may not have noticed this until it was too late. These magenta pixels were a cluster about the size of my thumb and they were very bright and were definitely noticeable whenever that area of the screen was black. I wasnt even staring closely to inspect each region of the screen, as I had been doing, before I noticed them. While not as bad a problem as a non-functioning monitor or a monitor with completely dead pixels, this still would have been super distracting and annoying and it speaks to the quality of the monitor regardless of how I received it (used vs new). Im assuming this monitor is less than 30 days old and was returned by someone before me or something so this was not thrilling. Im hesitant to buy another at this point. If I do, I will update this review but for now Im not sure.

This screen has too much glare. I didnt think they made monitors with these kind of screens anymore. Also the on/off button is not very responsive, it requires to be lightly pressed several times before it turns on or off. Took a chance on this Dell monitor and I am truly so disappointed. This is the response from vendor...meaningless. We sympathize with your current situation with the responsiveness and understand the time consuming and frustration that comes with this. Do you think I broke the capacitor in the power button pcb or maybe I exceeded the limit of proportionality in the surrounding plastic and negatively alter the elastic modulus from applied stress/strain?
