I was unhappy with it the moment I removed it from the package. It is very small and the quality is so/so. I guess it is good if you do not want to spend a few more dollars for a better one. I personally went with an MSI curved 144, it was $80 more and it was definitely worth it for my fps gaming.

Im picky with my monitors because I spend a considerable amount of time each day using them for work and play. I have a nice 4k monitor but I wanted one that I can use for gaming at a higher refresh rate. One of my co-workers has a Scepter with a 4k screen and it is really nice so I saw this on sale and thought I would give it a shot. I just installed it today and I have 3 sections of dead pixels. Ill be returning this one and looking for a monitor that has a better pixel policy. It really is too bad because the colors are good, the design is sleek, it has an edgeless design (which was what drew my eye in the first place as my other monitor also is edgeless), and it has 144hz+ at a great price.

I played on this monitor for one day. the next day I got pretty frustrated with my game and hit the table(not too hard but not lightly). the monitor flickered off. I unplugged the display port and plugged it back in, it didnt work. I unplugged the power cord and plugged it back in didnt work. I hit the table again to see if it turned back on and it did. but now whenever I even lightly tap the table it flickers off I am very dissatisfied with the low build quality.

Ive owned this for 3 weeks and since then Ive been wishing I didnt sell my $100 samsung monitor since then. Its contrast quality is HORRIBLE, even after two hours trying to calibrate it. Theres literally no good middle ground. My choices are not seeing dark things on a black background, or not seeing pale things on white background. All things, mind you, I was able to have in my cheapo monitor. The stand is elegant, but for some reason it just wont power on sometimes. It requires a lot of jiggling on the power cable to get it to turn on, AND when it sleeps it has a super annoying bright blue light on the back. Im really dissapointed in this purchase, I honestly cant recommend this. Sure it gives you a few more frames in your games but the picture quality is so, so bad. Save your money and get one that is $100 better, dont fall into the cheap pit of crap that I did.

Had this monitor for 1 week now and the difference is really noticeable. The picture quality is great and text/games look smooth. Sound is low. I have my monitor up to 100 volume and the games, youtube audio maxed out and it just reaches an adequate noise level, so youll probably want some kind of sound system to go along with this item, though I game/ watch hulu without a system and its fine, just a little quiet. Only problem with this is since Amazon ships this product for the seller, they ship it without any covering material, so anyone can see what the product is, as they use the regular box, like youd see on the store shelf, as the packaging material. First thing I did was inspect the product to make sure someone didnt replace with a cheaper monitor. Amazon should at least use brown wrapping paper to hide the product, as this will eventually cause people issues.

Really surprised by these. I bought three for a budget setup, but they turned out to be a lot better than expected. The high refresh rates are in fact real and the colors are not flat. The ONLY tao problems you will have are terrible sound and the screens do not look great if you are staring at them at an odd angle. If you are using them for gaming/media you won’t notice since headphones are the way to go. The angles are a big down, but you can easily find a setup to combat this. Don’t pass them up.

Not happy at all I knew I should of just went with a 144hz and not trying to get a cheaper 165hz. The right side of the screen flickers so much that it is unusable. The only way that I have found to fix this is to downclock to 120hz in nvidia control panel. I have ordered a higher quality DP cable in hope that this will fix the issue but I do not have any faith. I will update once it comes in. ***UPDATE*** After hooking up the new DP cable the flickering is still there. So much to the point that unless I put the monitor into 120hz it is unusable. I will be returning this monitor and for $100 more you can get a 1440p 144hz monitor.

Let me start with everything about this monitor isnt bad in comparison to what youre paying, however with the knowledge of cutting corners for a cheap but sufficing monitor will lead you to having many shortcomings, a jack of all trades is a master in none. I had zero problems with the product out of the box, setting it up was simple and easy and only took about 5 minutes to do. After setting it up, I ran a bunch of tests to see the quality of the panel, and I had no backlight bleeding, no dead pixels, and no problem setting up the display settings. The 165 hz is a nice addition to the product, however I definitely think it was more of a ploy to make the monitor seem more quality while cutting out other factors, like they were trying to hide something by shining an extra 21 hz. My main problem with the product only became noticeable after probably, 2 days. The display for this product is awful, to say the least. The sides of the monitor are paper thin, and most of the time dont fully connect, leaving you to be able to actually see into the monitor from certain angles. With this being said, its not surprising that the backlight began to bleed through the outer display. The problem only got worse as it grew larger, and the only way to momentarily fix it was to push the panel back in a bit. Now, Im sure shipping had some effect on this, however I cant whole wholeheartedly say I believe the entire monitors display issues arose from some shipping problems, as it was shipped in a very robust package, covered in foam. At first I wasnt very upset with the minor lighting bleed, and its not all that hard to cover it up with a small black piece of tape or something, but I very much doubt you want to have to scrap up a product you bought for $190 in the first month of its lifespan, I know thats the reason why I returned it. So all in all, I had very little problems with the actual specs of this monitor, the panel is nice and the screen size is a nice additive, being someone who comes from large bezel monitors, but I cant recommend this product due to its dice roll of a design. Im likely going to buy a more reputable monitor like ASUS and go back to a thicker bezel. Sorry for the essay but I hope it can help anyone whos on the fence about this product.

This monitor is a steal for a price below $200, the monitor is ideal for gaming with a 165hz panel. I received it with absolutely no problems out of the box and it was easy to attach the stand. If I had to say one bad thing, I would let you know that the tilting range is very limited and you can’t adjust the height. However I feel the great picture quality, good color range, and high refresh rate make the monitor well worth the price.

I was looking for a high end gaming monitor at a cheap price. Usually you get what you pay for. This monitor blew my mind for the price. Image quality is day and night compared to my old monitors. I am a full time stream so having multiple monitors is important. I will definitely be looking to get Sceptre monitors in the future for my 3rd screen. What really got me going was how sceptre provided a little screwdriver to put the stand on!
