I returned this product because the picture quality is lacking. While using Display port (tried 2 different cables) the right half of the screen flickers non stop. While using an HDMI cable the picture seems blurry with any motion on screen. The color is way off and very hard to get a decent looking picture with the settings. Also the speakers in the monitor have very poor sound quality. I spent the extra $70 to get a reputable brand in ASUS VG248QE 24" Full HD 1920x1080 Gaming Monitor as I already has an Asus that Im very pleased with.

I was unhappy with it the moment I removed it from the package. It is very small and the quality is so/so. I guess it is good if you do not want to spend a few more dollars for a better one. I personally went with an MSI curved 144, it was $80 more and it was definitely worth it for my fps gaming.

Im picky with my monitors because I spend a considerable amount of time each day using them for work and play. I have a nice 4k monitor but I wanted one that I can use for gaming at a higher refresh rate. One of my co-workers has a Scepter with a 4k screen and it is really nice so I saw this on sale and thought I would give it a shot. I just installed it today and I have 3 sections of dead pixels. Ill be returning this one and looking for a monitor that has a better pixel policy. It really is too bad because the colors are good, the design is sleek, it has an edgeless design (which was what drew my eye in the first place as my other monitor also is edgeless), and it has 144hz+ at a great price.

I played on this monitor for one day. the next day I got pretty frustrated with my game and hit the table(not too hard but not lightly). the monitor flickered off. I unplugged the display port and plugged it back in, it didnt work. I unplugged the power cord and plugged it back in didnt work. I hit the table again to see if it turned back on and it did. but now whenever I even lightly tap the table it flickers off I am very dissatisfied with the low build quality.

Ive owned this for 3 weeks and since then Ive been wishing I didnt sell my $100 samsung monitor since then. Its contrast quality is HORRIBLE, even after two hours trying to calibrate it. Theres literally no good middle ground. My choices are not seeing dark things on a black background, or not seeing pale things on white background. All things, mind you, I was able to have in my cheapo monitor. The stand is elegant, but for some reason it just wont power on sometimes. It requires a lot of jiggling on the power cable to get it to turn on, AND when it sleeps it has a super annoying bright blue light on the back. Im really dissapointed in this purchase, I honestly cant recommend this. Sure it gives you a few more frames in your games but the picture quality is so, so bad. Save your money and get one that is $100 better, dont fall into the cheap pit of crap that I did.

Not happy at all I knew I should of just went with a 144hz and not trying to get a cheaper 165hz. The right side of the screen flickers so much that it is unusable. The only way that I have found to fix this is to downclock to 120hz in nvidia control panel. I have ordered a higher quality DP cable in hope that this will fix the issue but I do not have any faith. I will update once it comes in. ***UPDATE*** After hooking up the new DP cable the flickering is still there. So much to the point that unless I put the monitor into 120hz it is unusable. I will be returning this monitor and for $100 more you can get a 1440p 144hz monitor.
