For the price, I dont think this can be beat. I bought two of these, and spent about the same amount of money as if I were to buy a decent 24" monitor. Theyre a little small, but not bad from a foot or so away. The number of inputs is awesome, but I would prefer 2 HDMI over 1 HDMI, VGA, and DVI; todays devices primarily use HDMI. The speakers are, eh, not impressive. At least theyre there, unlike a lot of monitors, but the volume is limited and the quality is poor- dont buy this for the speaker. My biggest complaint is that neck that goes into the base is NOT (easily) removable. So, if you plan to mount this on a wall or stand, like me, then youll have an unsightly black neck sticking out the bottom. Ive read you can remove the monitor frame and unscrew the neck, but I tried this and wasnt able to separate the frame without feeling like I was going to break something.

It is a good monitor for the money. I bought it as a second monitor so I could connect it to my DVR and watch TV while "working" at my computer. VGA and HDMI inputs are a big plus. The speakers are next to useless. They face away from the user and are not loud enough. I was a bit concerned about the unremovable stand but decided not to worry about it since I was just going to set it on my desk anyway. Now I have bought a dual monitor stand and decided to see if the "leg" could be removed. If nothing else I would just saw it off. What the heck it is just a $70 monitor. I removed the four screws on the back, pried off the bezel, lifted up the screen, and there were the screws that hold the leg on. I removed them and put the monitor back together The monitor looks great on the stand and I can always put the leg back on later.

This monitor was inexpensive and works ok if you’re going to set it on a desk. If you plan on using a Vesa wall mount, be aware that the neck is actually attached to the monitor and cannot be removed - see my pics. This means you’ll have an ugly looking chunk of plastic hanging from under the monitor. I still can’t decide if I want to keep it since the monitor was very inexpensive, or if it’s going to hurt my eyes too much to see the glaring eyesore under the monitor due to it being wall mounted with the base removed. I wish I had noticed this before purchasing because I definitely would have picked a different monitor. Other than the weird neck issue, the monitor works and looks great - especially when using it with the base on a flat surface. I’m using the HDMI port on the back but it also has VGA to connect to your PC. I played with the monitors menu and it has options to adjust a few different settings. I liked that it had warm/cool/normal/etc. view settings. I am using it to view my security cameras so no other adjustments were needed for my situation. The built in speaker were a bonus and work fine for basic sounds tests. An FYI if you are going to wall mount it - I searched the Q&A before purchasing and received conflicting info on the VESA size for this unit. I purchased a $20 articulating wall mount that would work for either 75mm or 100mm spacing. After installing the mount & monitor today I noted it used the wider spaced holes so it does appear to need a 100mm VESA mount.

Great little monitor to do Raspberry Pi projects with. My only complaint is where the power port and HDMI ports are located. Instead of being located on the bottom of the monitor (where they could be tied together and hidden), they are located on the left and right of the components box, so your power cord and HDMI cable are hanging off the left and right of the monitor. Its just ugly is what Im saying.

This monitor is great for the price. Looks great. I use it for my PS4 and even my roku. I have two of these inside my garage. The stand is fully removable BTW. I saw some reviews about how the stand isnt removable but it is.. Look on youtube and there are ways. Took about 10 min for me to do.

My Step Father was in need of a new computer after his laptop died, so rather then get another over priced laptop and because I have been using Mini PCs for a bit we decided to get him a MiniPC with a 20" LED Monitor (19.5" Viewable) with Build-in Speakers. Because we did not want to spend a lot of money, we followed the price and the reviews, and at 4 out of 5 stars, this one peaked my interest. With its True 16:9 Resolution @ 1600 x 900 Native, I wasnt really sure what we would get for under $70 but to my surprise, the Mini PC runs happily at 1600 x 900 Native Resolution with a 5ms refresh rate and the picture is very clear. When ever looking at any TV or Monitor, seeing how well it displays the color Black tells you a lot about its quality. This monitors has a pretty dark black, though I would not call it a "true black" but for his uses, it is perfectly acceptable. By no means is this a gaming monitor, but for someone who just uses their computer for surfing the web, watching YouTube and other streaming media, this monitor is perfect. One last point of interest, while it states 170 degree (Horizontal) / 160 degree (Vertical) viewing angles. I find that when viewing from an angle greater then 90 degrees from center the screen starts to lose its color definition where then white actually turns a shade of tan. While most people dont view their screens from any angle other then head on, this should prove to be a non-issue. From looking at the Specs and some of the older reviews for this monitor, it states that is has 1 HDMI, 1 DVI and 1 VGA Input, however whether Sceptre changed the model due to the lack of DVI support or for some other reason, the one we purchased supports 2 HDMI Inputs and 1 VGA, as well it has Audio Input 3.5mm Mini-Jack for VGA. No DVI, It is also VESA ready with the 4 mount points on the back of the monitor and comes with a stand. All and all, if your looking for an inexpensive monitor that is energy efficient, wont put you in the dog house for spending a lot of money, all while providing you a dynamic color range, and is ready for just about anything you might want to hook up to it, be it a Mini PC, Full Tower PC, or as a monitor for your streaming media servers, this monitor would work well for you. Again, this is not a gaming monitor, and from the best of my knowledge it does not support 4K and I am not entirely sure from what I can tell if it supports 1080p, but again, if your only using this for web surfing, streaming media and the like and you want to keep the costs as low as possible I just dont see how you could go wrong with this monitor. Obviously if your planning on Hardcore Gaming, want to watch 4K Streaming Video, then you might want to invest in something a bit better, but for the money, you really cant go wrong here.
