Its worth it. Colors are great and even for a 24" 1080p monitor the screen is nice and crisp. The build quality is fantastic and the OSD makes more sense to me than any other Ive used. I have only 1 complaint with this monitor but the price makes up for it which is why its 5 stars still. Ghosting. Overdrive simply doesnt work and for me it made things worse. So theres some ghosting. Everything else is dang near perfect though. Again if the monitor was priced any higher than $180 Id knock a star off. At this price point you cant do better.

This works with G-Sync on a GTX 1080Ti as long as you have the most recent drivers. Thats the important bit I was worried about. There are no screen flickering or artifact issues, even when pushing it to the max frame rate. This monitor is an exceptional value versus the rest of the field. The metal stand is nice, and though I havent tried the built in speakers, its a nice to have thing. Another thing I liked, the ports on the back, they are brightly colored and easy to see and access from weird angles (for instance if you have to reach over the top of the monitor to hook it up). Settings out of the box are awful, almost so bad I thought I was going to need to return it, but with lots of tweaking, you can get a pretty nice and even picture with decent color reproduction. The stand is a decent quality, but I have an 8 week old kitten that accidentally knocked it over, so it could be a little more stable. I honestly havent ruled out picking up 2 more to do the NVidia surround thing, but the wife probably wont let me spend anymore money on computer stuff for a little while.

I was shopping for an affordable 1080 144hz monitor because I have using my TV for gaming at 60hz for so long and the input lag doesnt help me become more competitive. I didnt really give any care to transition for awhile because I felt that it was just all a gimmick and Id be sacrificing the real estate of my 39inch tv, and I was dead wrong! I researched and looked at different monitors and there is a lot of good monitors out there, I decided to give spectre another go because I had purchased a 1080p 70hz monitor already with them same 24inch size and the quality on that was already really good. Plus this monitor is the cheapest I have seen when I was looking. The quality on this monitor is superb, the stand is all metal so it adds to stability. From the curve of the monitor to the screen everything looks so good. The picture quality and video quality is outstanding do not let the brand deter you spectre is a good brand! If you have been thinking of switching to a 144hz and want to utilize your GPU you will not regret this decision, playing games has been so much more of a better experience as everything runs so smooth like silky smooth. If you have never experienced 144hz up to 240hz I HIGHLY HIGHLY recommend you give it a try because there is CLEARLY a difference.

Here is a short review. So this monitor has very few reviews but I decided to pull the trigger. I have only had the monitor for a few days but So far so good. There is another 27inch monitor from sceptre that appears to be basically the same monitor just slightly larger screen size. There are several reviews on that product if you are curious. Monitor came nicely packaged. As others have stated it does need a little messing around with the setting to get the picture just right. I found that the gamma needed to be turned up on mine by one click think I have 2.4. I would like to be able to turn the brightness down some but on my black level test the setting of level 50 is the lowest you can go and still view all the black levels. So you do get a slightly washed out appearance with some images but it gets better if you turn the brightness down and sacarfice the black level. I play league of legends and on my gaming laptop with nvidia 1050 via hdmi to hdmi I was able to achieve near the 144 fps. I did have to lower my in game settings to get it but that must be because my gpu has reached its limits. I wanted to share this because there are many 144hz monitors in this price range but majority only support 144hz via display port. My laptop only had hdmi and usb 3.0 like many consumer grade laptops and desktops. You can buy a converter but that causes you to use up a usb 3.0 port as well as your hdmi port. I am not an expert by any means but the build quality seems pretty decent. I am not sure what type of lcd pannel is used. On the other 27inch sceptre stated it is a VA for this one I cannot find any info. Either wait it doesn’t really matter because if your buying this it is for gaming so you are sacarficing viewing angle and color accuracy for reduced input lag and faster refresh rates. I think it is definitely worth the buy at under $200 as long as it stands the test of time. This review is my own personal opinion. I paid for this product with my own hard earned money.

I think this monitor is fantastic for the price. Its hard to find something thats 1920x1080 AND 144hz for this price. The size is perfect for this resolution also. Very clear picture. Some were complaining about the colors being off but I think they look nice, perhaps a bit warmer than other monitors. There is one dead pixel towards the top of the screen, but its so small that it doesnt bother me at all. I hardly notice it unless im actively looking for it. Im very happy with this purchase.

I love the smoothness this monitor brings. It feels sturdy enough, it is very easy to assemble especially with the included screwdriver, and the bezels are much slimmer than my old 60hz monitor. PROS: VERY CHEAP 144hz Comes with required cables Comes with screwdriver CONS: Colors are meh, and took a lot of fiddling with settings for me to not notice issues. Backlight-80 Brightness-50 Contrast-50 Red-45 Green-43 Blue-50 Gamma-2.4 These are by no means any professional color calibration, theyre just what Ive found to be acceptable for my use. I had an issue with coronas/inverse ghosting when I first got the monitor, at this point I dont even notice anymore unless I am specifically looking for them. I dont believe it affects my gameplay, and hey, its a small price to pay for such a low-cost monitor. Potential issue: For some reason after I got this monitor, tabbing in and out of certain games, ex. Overwatch gave me a lot more issues while other games were almost immediate. Overwatch for instance takes a full few seconds of black screen and it flashes my 2nd monitor, while games like Fortnite or Team Fortress 2 are just a little blip as I tab back in. This could just be my system though, so your mileage may vary.

Overall it’s a very good product. It is 1080p and actually can put out 144hz, my only complaint is where the mounting bracket is located. It’s at the bottom of the monitor whereas my other monitors bracket is in the center. So other than my monitors not lining up this is a pretty solid monitor for the price.

I had to switch out the monitor due to the screen going black intermittently and the whole screen flickering when I clicked on the mouse. I didnt notice the flickering until I played on League of Legends at 144hz. It flickered as I was spam clicking the mouse cursor and I noticed the screen flickering all over. On top of that the first night I used it I was playing Fallout 4 and my eyes started burning really bad and thats not normal. I played on a 32" TV for months with no issues. I think this was a one off so I just exchanged it for a new monitor. Im a little upset because I sold my Geforce 1050 ti 4gb to a friend and bought a Radeon RX 580 hoping this would solve it, it didnt. Did the same thing on both of them and my igpu vega 8 on my Ryzen 3 2200g. Pros: *Its 1080p and curved and the curve is nice and you notice it right away coming from flat panel. *Its easy to assemble and feels solid. *The colors are vibrant. Cons:* It flickered and switched to a black screen intermittently. *The speakers were not very loud at all but I use external speakers so that wasnt a serious detriment though I dont think the speakers would be satisfactory for most audiophiles or gamers. Overall I think its built well and the curve is really nice but this panel on this monitor had problems. The reviews are overwhelmingly positive for a reason so I exchanged it out instead of getting a refund. Ill edit my review again if I have a problem on the next monitor. I also will add that I get eyestrain on any monitor below 60hz refresh rates and to me that says this monitor for some reason wasnt going beyond 60hz with either the displayport or HDMI (I tried two HDMI cords). Thinking positive thoughts on my replacement, I wouldnt have replaced it if I didnt like it.

Ok the TV is not a true 144hz tv. It only supports 120hz on my xbox 1x and on my high end gaming pc. Not that the human eye can tell the difference but stop advertizing this at 144, its 120! It does have good picture. Just fix the description to 120hz

Product was ordered on Dec 24th. Arrived on Dec 28th. The display was dead on arrival. I received a refund to purchase the item again in the hopes that it would work the second time but the item was not in stock and would not arrive until the 7-10th of January. As such I will not pursue this product any longer and will purchase another monitor instead. There are many monitors that are priced similarly to this product. In my opinion it is not worth saving a few bucks risking a dead of arrival or dead pixel filled monitor. On a different note the manual indicates an 8 ms response time which isnt even that good for a gaming monitor. Spend the extra money for a monitor with stricter quality control practices.
