I normally wouldnt write a review this soon after receiving an item (2 days) but I too had noticed the sort of "pixel fog" that others were describing. I tried updating drivers, going through all the settings both for the monitor and my video card, everything. Finally I noticed that, in the adapter properties, the refresh rate was set to 60 hertz instead of 75. Once I made that change, this monitor became everything I hoped it would be!* *I didnt notice that it had speakers when I bought it, so I wasnt hoping for those. If you are buying this because you want an awesome monitor with even adequate built-in speakers, look elsewhere. The speakers sound like 1990s earbuds dropped into a tin can.

After shopping around I decided to purchase 2 of these because you cant beat the price and honestly its 2017 I dont know why so many monitors are still over priced. This was one of few that had VESA mounting capability at this size. The only bad reviews are saying that you cant mount it, you can, its really easy- see my photos. My mount didnt come with spacers so I e-mailed Sceptre and they priority mailed me spacers. Now I have a great curved home office at about half the cost. Ive been using them for a week- picture quality is great, I mostly use them for work and dont do and gaming so i cant really speak to that. As long as they last a while, Ill be very happy, they look great.

I was nervous from the reviews that I would find dead pixels or blacks would look greyed out. I took the advice from one of the reviewers about ignoring those flaws and getting these for my new gaming system. Im so glad I did. These monitors are gorgeous, out of the box. I was careful not to take the protection off the front of the screen until I absolutely had them in the right position. Granted, I have only used them two days now but Im making sure I turn them off when not in use and have good ventilation in the room to not overheat the system they are connected to or the monitors themselves. Im very pleased with this purchase. The only downside would be the speakers, they are not the greatest quality but Im not taking anything off for them because many of the monitors available like this do not have speakers period so I felt I was getting a real bargain having the speakers included.

I recently purchased this for a budget gaming computer I built. I was using a 32" tv monitor previously and this monitors picture puts the tv monitor to shame! This monitor is perfect size for what I was looking for. I debated on the 32" version of this monitor but decided to go with the 27". I am glad I did because it fits my needs well. I am looking into purchasing another one of these to run a dual monitor setup eventually. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a affordable monitor that works with all normal PC needs. Pros: Lightweight Sturdy Clean Look Great Picture for Gaming Easy to set up VESA Mountable Cons: Speakers have no strength to them. They do sound clear but there is virtually no thump or bass to any beats. Just good flat line crisp sound. (This is not an issue as I prefer to use a Gaming Headset or some beefy computer plug in speakers with sub woofer.

Dont understand all of the bad reviews. Mine looks beautiful and worked perfectly right out of the box. It took a day or two to get use to but thats normal getting use to any new monitor. Very bright, just perfect.

June 2, 2017. The monitors arrived well packed and undamaged. Hooked it up and didnt notice any issues at all. I was concerned after reading a few reviews of damaged displays. I bought these to update my older 21.4" displays for surround gaming. The VESA mounting standoffs were included in all 3 monitors thankfully. This is because the monitor stand attachment protrudes out the back and without it, you wont be able to use the VESA mounting points on the back. Will update this review after a few months of use. Liking it so far.

This is a really great screen, it has great picture quality, and you cannot hardly even tell that it is curved. I purchased this screen, and hooked it up to my computer tower, but it had a small glitch in it. It was flickering in the bottom left corner. I thought it would eventually go away, but after 4 days and a new display port cord, it had gotten worse and started doing it all over the screen. So, I exchanged it with a new one. I got it in today, plugged it up, and it is also glitching. It is doing the exact same thing. I plugged the screen up to a different tower to make sure it wasnt my computer causing the glitch, and it glitched on that computer as well. So I have returned it for a refund. The exchange and return has been very easy with Amazon, but I would not recommend buying this monitor.

Great monitor for consoles. Have both my ps4 and gaming PC hooked up to it and it is amazing. The only couple of flaws I could find were the speakers and the edges of the screen being a little discolored. I have external speakers so the 1st flaw isnt that big of a deal and the discoloration is only noticeable when the background is black.

The monitor didnt work right out of the box. When its powered on the power LED comes on and the Sceptre logo flashes on screen. The monitor immediately turns off again. It continues to power cycle like this. If I plug in an HDMI device it does recognize and will display briefly before the monitor power cycles again. I tested the power supply and get a solid 12V from it. The screen also looks fine when it does display. But the constant powercycling makes it unusable. I did trying different devices through the HDMI (Macbook Air and PS4). Both exhibit the same problem. Additionally the monitor powercycles if nothing is plugged into it. I would probably be happy with the monitor if would stay on longer than1-2 seconds. UPDATE: I got a replacement through Amazon today. Everything works great with the new monitor. So it was most likely a 1 off issue with the first one I received.

This curved monitor is great! I bought it for my wife, but might steal it or buy another. It has a good assortment of inputs, but the main feature is the much tighter curve than some other "curved" monitors that I own. It truly makes viewing any part of the screen as good as any other. The only disadvantage is that it tilts downward, as if it were designed to be set above your head height. We put small books under the front of it to make it level with my wifes face in use. We didnt notice any bad pixels or any faults in the display.
