The monitor didnt work right out of the box. When its powered on the power LED comes on and the Sceptre logo flashes on screen. The monitor immediately turns off again. It continues to power cycle like this. If I plug in an HDMI device it does recognize and will display briefly before the monitor power cycles again. I tested the power supply and get a solid 12V from it. The screen also looks fine when it does display. But the constant powercycling makes it unusable. I did trying different devices through the HDMI (Macbook Air and PS4). Both exhibit the same problem. Additionally the monitor powercycles if nothing is plugged into it. I would probably be happy with the monitor if would stay on longer than1-2 seconds. UPDATE: I got a replacement through Amazon today. Everything works great with the new monitor. So it was most likely a 1 off issue with the first one I received.
