Beware, it does have some behaviors that will remind you that its still a $160 curved gaming monitor When its ON its ON. The screen looks great for the most part, and the Freesync mode works just fine with Nvidia using forced Adaptive sync features. As far as the image quality, its good, but its not enthusiast level good. Its definitely a good compromise given its price. Im not currently in the market for anything more expensive. Color response and depth is exactly what you pay for. As far as definition, its 100% a 1080p monitor. There are no features to improve or smooth more extreme image jitter. I imagine even it had them, they would be sluggish and probably be pretty bad looking anyways, so Im not even going to worry about not having them. Quirks are : Strange behavior in Overdrive mode with some machines. Monitor can and probably will restart for seemingly no reason. Screen takes to flickering for seemingly no reason even on the desktop. Turning the screen off and back on clears this problem. Unsure why it does this, or why that fixes it, but there you have it. Thats what it does. Menu transparency seems to be a sunny day feature. If you change the menu transparency you can see it change the transparency of the overlay. Close the menu and open it again and the transparency is gone. Settings still show it set at the value you set it at, but it doesnt recognize it unless you flip from 100% to 75% and back again. Close the overlay, open it, rinse and repeat. Works fine at 144hz Adaptive Sync. Currently no other issues. If a firmware update or something becomes available I might raise the rating. As it stands its exactly what you can expect from a $160 curved gaming monitor.
