Cant beat the price. Great quality monitors, I am very impressed. Bezels are a nice size for dual monitors. I paid 100 bucks each for 2 monitors. I cant believe how great the deal was for quality like this. Absolutely would recommend.

Bought this set for a guest room and am using it with an Apple TV box. Great little TV, especially for the price. Very clear picture. Sound from speakers is a bit primitive, however fine for just watching general movies, shows, etc. You get what you paid for...convenience:) Others have brought up a good point in that removing the base is kind of a pain. Since we are only using this with our Apple TV box, we decided to make lemonade out of the lemon and use the base as an attachment point for our Apple TV box! My amazing husband cut the plastic stand around the base and we siliconed the Apple TV box to the bottom of the cut base unit (see photos). This has worked amazingly well and looks fantastic. Gets the box and cables out of the way when TV is hung on the wall! Im sure this would work with the Roku and other boxes. Heck, you could even "glue" a generic "shelf" to the base or hooks, etc. Hope this idea helps others. Again, great little tv for the price.

Pros; - Image quality looks pretty nice. At first. - Good size - Side-mounted video inputs - Mountable Cons; - Base neck is NOT DETACHABLE. The advertisement that this is mounting ready is also false advertisement, because it shows the TV without the base neck in the picture. Whatd you do for that picture? Saw the thing off? - Dead pixels, less than a year of ownership, less than 2 months of actual use. - Why would you mount this if you cant even remove the base neck of the TV...???

It was a great monitor. Ive had it just over a year. Literally 14 months and it just randomly stopped working. Right after the warranty ran out. Not happy. Update: Sceptre emailed me and said they would replace it and they "flagged" my serial number for pre-approval. I just got an email from the Warranty team who informed me that no, they would not replace it and everything would be done on my own dime. Will never buy a Sceptre Product again.

I purchased a pair of these monitors to use in a dual monitor setup, primarily for CAD. So far I am really liking them. I am running them at full resolution and am not noticing any flicker or anything negative about them at all for my application. I have not used them for video or gaming so I cant comment on how well they would work for those things. These monitors are equipped with a standard VESA mounting screw arrangement but the surface where that set of threaded hols is located is curved so a set of stand-offs is necessary to go between the monitor and your VESA mount. The necessary stand-offs are supplied with the monitors but, if you lose them, you can probably get replacements from many hardware suppliers as they appear to be pretty standard parts. One thing some folks may not like is the fact that the stands that come with this monitor do not swivle and have no height adjustment capability. The only adjustment is tilt. If you need more adjustability than just tilt, then youre going to need to invest in some sort of VESA mount that will work for you. All in all, I think youd be hard pressed to find a nicer monitor in this size for the money.

Im going from an old 17.3 inch laptop LCD computer/monitor to this. The LED has a very crisp picture and the 24 inch seems huge compared to the 17.3. At work I have two 20 inch Acer LCD screens and compared to those this LED seems much nicer/crisper. For what I and my family use the computer for at home this will work great. Im sure if those of you with multi screen set ups this is a great deal at $99. I used the HDMI hook up as well were past desktops (and work) Ive used VGA. Overall this is a nice screen that will serve its purpose, the only reason I gave it 4 starts if the base stand. This desktop set up was going onto a floating wall desk I installed to have a designated area for the computer. I bought a mini pc along with this monitor and wireless keyboard and mouse to save on space. In addition to all that I wanted to mount the monitor on the wall to also save space and make sure that the kids dont knock the monitor over. This is about the cheapest monitor I could get for this size. After ordering I saw that people complained about the tail (base stand) of the monitor and how that is not removable. So Im thinking I can surely remove it, even if that means taking a few screws loose, but after seeing a youtube of the removal I thought, best not. After a comment on the youtube video someone mentioned that they would just dremel it and cut it off. After looking at the thing for about a week Im going to do just that and cut it off. If you use the base your fine if you dont care about the tail your fine but if you like a clean look and hang it I would look for something else or just cut it off. Now, I thought, what if I decide to move it or.... basically I decided if I ever move it and need to mount it on a base I would buy a cheap table mount and use the vesa bolt holes that Im currently using to mount it to the wall. I really wanted to buy another monitor but really couldnt find one that I liked for less or equal money. My OCD doesnt care that much about looking at it. But it will probably get the best of me and I will cut it off to give it a cleaner look. Long story for a simple problem but it was fun telling it. In short this is a really nice monitor for a great price:)

Its a budget monitor. Thats what it is. That said I like the built in speakers even if they are a bit weak. The buttons feel a little flimsy, but once its set up the button arent really used because the computer will turn it off. It has VGA, HDMI. & a standard headphone jack for audio input. Havent tested it yet if its a two way port. That would nice. Compared to our laptop screen this thing is huge, & wife spends a lot of her free time in front of the screen so I wanted her to have something nice. My first experience with HDMI & its great. One cable hook-up 10 ft away giving her space she needs. We stream a lot of video on this screen & I have no complaints with picture quality. I would have to agree with the other reviewers about the Versa mount. With the base removed there is still a stem protruding out. Hmm . . . I could do something with that. Anywho, I like that shiny black look of the frame and body it really helps the butterfly stickers pop.

This monitor was purchased for $80 which is a steal for the specs this thing has. However, it has a couple flaws that are unacceptable in this climate of ever-advancing technology, even with a fantastic price tag. Read on for more info. PROS: -VGA, DVI, and HDMI inputs. Thats a ton of connectivity options for a monitor in this class. -Low response time CONS: -Blue color output is wrong. Light blues show up fine, but as the shades turn darker they become purple in color. I am very fussy about my monitors color calibration, and this is very disappointing. -Vertical viewing angle is atrocious. This is by far the worst monitor Ive seen regarding this. Even at a viewing distance of 2x the screen diagonal (44") which is pretty far away for a screen this size, the screen changes hues drastically from the top to the bottom. -Too small. This one isnt a manufacturing problem, but more of a preference. Id say 24" is the bare minimum for a 1080p display as the icons and text much on this 22" display are much too small. I applied a custom scaling resolution to windows 10 at 108% and it made using the monitor much more bearable. -Crooked Base. Once assembled, my monitor leaned to one side and was 1/2" crooked from one end to the other. I had to remove the base and grind some material away from the stem to make it sit level. It was very easy to do, but this should not be required. -DOWN button turns off monitor, sometimes. This one baffles me. When trying to adjust my monitor, the DOWN button would occasionally cause the monitor to turn off. This was VERY frustrating as I had to turn on my monitor about 30 times before I was done calibrating it. Luckily, I shouldnt ever need to touch it again, but this was quite annoying. As you can see, the list of cons is far longer than that of the pros. For this reason, I cannot recommend this monitor unless all of the following apply to your situation: 1- You can still find this monitor for sub-$90 2- You need a smaller monitor to fit a small footprint. 3- You dont perform work that requires absolute color accuracy.

I did a lot of research and read countless reviews before I purchased. Id have to say, despite some of the reviews, I made a good choice going with this monitor. Its used as a second screen next to an older Dell (left in picture). Its not overly huge but with dual screens evenly sized, its perfect. The colors are vibrant and extremely clear. The moment I turned both on, I considered buying another one to replace my Dell. Monitor has integrated sound, which I dont use regularly as I have speakers attached for video and movie watching purposes, but they are adequate for basic use and the likes. Sound pretty good actually.Comes with both vga and dvi cables, although I use with HDMI (you can never go wrong with having spare cables). And it was by far priced economically. I bought on a rebate deal which made the deal even sweeter ($79). Overall, Im pretty pleased with the purchase and recommend it, especially for the budget conscious buyer!

Ordered this and a DVI to HDMI Adapter for my girlfriend to use. The images for the product show that the monitor has one AUDIO-IN port, one VGA port, one DVI port, and one HDMI port. In reality the monitor actually has two HDMI ports, one VGA port, and two AUDIO ports for AUDIO IN and AUDIO OUT. This monitor has no DVI port what so ever. And now I have to order another adapter for the VGA port. This was an inconvenience to me when it really couldve been avoided had the company places the correct product images on the product page. Will not buy from this company again.
