For a 4k monitor at this price, its a good deal. The picture is good enough that you can tell its 4k, but the colors arent vibrant. The picture will not blow you away, its standard 4k. There are 1080p monitors with much better picture, but that doesnt mean this monitor is bad. You just wont get the samsung quality picture that you would expect. Im really skeptical about the 1ms response time, I dont believe it. I had a 1080p monitor with 1ms response time and this monitor feels slower. If someone could verify the 1ms response time using software, that would be helpful. The stand is normal, you can tilt the monitor up or down and there are no problems (some people said it was difficult to do so, they lied). I only use headphones so the speakers werent tested. I use the monitor for my ps4 pro, and so far it has been reliable.

Update (2017 August 11): My monitor went completely dead (no power indicator) after about a week. Samsung service was very helpful and mentioned that there had been increased incidence in power adapter failures with the recent batch of this model that happened to be the one Amazon promoted for Prime Day. I was given the option to either have a new power adapter shipped to me or to send in the monitor to be serviced (which could just end up being the adapter). I elected to try the new adapter first. The estimated time was 7-14 business days, but I received it in 3. Sure enough, that was the issue. Otherwise, really loving 4K gaming and UHD content from Netflix and Amazon Video my Xbox One S. -------------------------- Original Feedback: Just wanted to post the details that the Xbox One S outputs for this monitor. Note that HDR10 video content is not supported.

I did a lot of research on PC monitors before purchasing. I just got a new gaming PC with the GTX1080 from GeForce and wanted a monitor that would showcase the high-end graphics card. This monitor fit my needs within the budge I had. I am very pleased. Although only one inch larger than the monitor this Samsung product replaced, I can honestly say the colors are crisp and vivid. The only thing I dont like is the on/off switch is like a teeny-tiny joystick on the back of the monitor. Its a bit confusing to use. I am rather used to a on/off button on the front with another button to the item menu. Also, the monitor is a bit top heavy, which is not a big deal as long as I remember to grab it up on the sides and not by the base. Overall, Im glad I went with this Samsung monitor.

Win10 1703.something here. Works out of the box with DP 1.2 (default) on an EVGA 1070. Its fine for the prime-day price (no longer available, the monitor, on amzn). You might be as comfortable with a QHD (2560x1440), but UHD takes an even (non-fractional) 200% DPI increase (192 dpi) compared to 150% (144 dpi) I use on a QHD. I often barely notice the difference between a 28-inch QHD and this 28-inch UHD. It is there, of course, but you have to get picky (I see fine). I know I did not like the text at 150 dpi on this UHD; not enough definition. Looks fine at 192 dpi. Color is said to be 8-bit per channel (not including FRC). My QHD is IPS, no banding that I can tell, but my old Samy from 2008, which I still use (check my reviews), does band on close-color gradiations, and you dont want that. Stand is poor. Worst stand of any monitor Ive used. Fortunately, I can fit it so that the stand is a non-problem. If you have the monitor standing alone, it will bug you. Well, if you could buy it. Its going on three years old and you cant anymore, so Ill end this pointless revi
