Fantastic looking screen, easy to set up and love that you can have two input items displayed on the screen at the same time. However, the screen had a dead pixel area in the top of the screen along with a long horizontal bar so I returned it and bought a different product.

Do NOT buy this monitor . I have a Surface Pro running windows. Samsung markets this monitor as being capable of 3440 x 1440 resolution; however on my Surface Pro it will not run any higher than 1920 x 1080. This creates a distorted/ stretched image that is painful on the eyes to try to use more than a few minutes. I spent hours on the phone with my company IT (who are professional computer technicians) AND with Samsung technical support and neither were able to fix the problem. Also, I have a Dell Ultrasharp monitor at home that works perfect and is able to have much higher resolution on the same computer/platform. Meaning: this is definitely a monitor issue, not something caused by the computer. Worse, I talked numerous times with Samsung and they refuse to refund my purchase. They advertise a 30 day return policy, and I contacted them within 30 days to return immediately after opening the box and discovering the issue with the monitor. This is completely unacceptable. They sold me a $700 plus monitor that is not capable of the screen resolution and "crystal clear" viewing experience that they market. Frankly, I consider this fraudulent. Bottom line: Do NOT buy this monitor if youre not using a Mac (and I say that only because it SOUNDS like Mac users are able to get a better picture than me). Otherwise, avoid this monitor-- and Samsung-- at all costs.

I bought this and it came with dead pixels. This wasn’t a major deal so i just returned it, and got a new one. And then, the new one HAD A SHADOW OVER THE WHOLE LEFT SIDE OF THE SCREEN.
