The curved monitor overall is very good and sexy looking. Very good for its price cannot ask for more. I will list out all the pros and cons of this monitor. Hope it will be helpful for you guys to decide whether to buy it or not. Pros: : Well design, good pixels, overall good response time( I only play light gaming not heavy ones). : The power plug has a safe function, makes it harder to unplug by accident. : Nice HDMI cord included. : Good size for a curved monitor, good for watching movies and TV shows on it. : Very thin, you can see in my picture (back LED lights not included) Cons: : The most annoying thing to me is the adjusting angle to the monitor, it either very hard or non-adjustable. : As a result, I have to put a small box under the monitor to increase its height since the height is not adjustable : There are no built-in speakers. : The on/off button is located in the back of the monitor, sometimes hard to reach : The on/off button light is reversed, it lights up when the monitor is off and lights off when the monitor is on. Weird. : The on/off button is like a joystick it has many functions, however, it is sometimes hard to use I prefer the mult-buttons. *I dont hate on the on/off button, but the design just didnt work well for me :P

Nice Monitors. Took a star because documentation is not that great. There is a button hidden on the back of it you have to push if you use the HDMI port. Thought it did not work for a while until I hooked the other one I purchased up and it did the same thing. Did some experimenting and finally got them on.

Bought this for a mid-range gaming monitor and it has worked really well. Colors are vibrant and responsive. Setup was a breeze and basically everything is recognized automatically by Windows 10 (I wish the Device Manager recognized the specific monitor after installing the drivers but it doesnt affect performance in any way). Dont waste your time downloading and installing the Easy Box software that comes with, it basically allows you to setup your monitor with different zones which would only be useful for a very large monitor). The curved screen does enhance the viewing and gaming experience. Im tempted to get a second monitor to enhance the effect. The Freesync with the AMD GPUs is interesting although I havent noticed an appreciable effect from turning it on. Overall I would recommend this for someone looking for a good entry level curved screen gaming monitor.

Be sure to THOROUGHLY read the online instructions on setting up the HDMI feature and the Easy Eye instructions or you will not be able to find the setup. Outside of that, the screen output is great, and clarity is outstanding. Worth the money, but the instructions leave a lot to be desired...Just my Opinion......

These monitors are probably great if you are just using them for games. I bought these hoping to have two side-by-side in the corner of my desk and use for work. I found them to be difficult to use with the curve and felt abnormal for reading text on the curved monitors. I returned and purchased regular, flat monitors

The curved screen is the main reason this costs so much, but even with it I still think MSRP is a rip off. The main thing I dont like about it is the pixel response time. Its a VA panel, which are notorious for poor response times, and this is no different. Advertised response times on almost any monitor are a lie, but this one is a bold faced lie(I think they say 5ms...its definitely not). Manufacturers try to combat this(especially with VA panels) by incorporating an overdrive feature. The "fast" and "faster" response time settings on this monitor, like with most monitors with overdrive, cause inverse ghosting/pixel overshooting. Its especially noticeable on the "faster" setting, youll notice it with your mouse when hovering across anything dark, and youll notice it in a lot of games. You can basically eliminate pixel overshooting by using the "normal" response time setting, but then we get right back to the issues that are inherent to VA panels. So you basically have 3 choices: tons of motion blur(normal), some motion blur plus some inverse ghosting(fast), or heavy inverse ghosting with little to no motion blur(faster). This monitor tries to come off as an affordable "gaming monitor" but its basically a cheap panel with a few extra features thrown in(curved screen, Freesync, monitor overdrive). If you play games that are faster paced, look elsewhere. If you play slower games and want the immersion of a curved screen at a good price...maybe wait until its on sale. Now...for the people out there who just want a nice curved desktop monitor...this display does have some pretty good color quality. One thing inherently good about VA panels is they typically have far superior contrast ratio and deeper blacks than IPS and TN panels. There is some mild color banding, but nothing compared to what you typically see from a TN panel. Ive watched a lot of YouTube and some Netflix with this monitor and it did really well for that. But as I said to the gamers...wait until its on sale.

This monitor looks great, which I love. However, I wish I listened to the other reviews that said you cant wake the monitor up after it goes to sleep. It was intermittent at first and now it happens every time. Takes a lot of effort to get it on again, including having to reboot the computer. Samsung claims that if I send it back, they will repair it and return the monitor within 7-14 days. I dont have a lot of faith. Stay away from this monitor and buy something that wakes up. Only have had it less than 6 months.

I am have been a Samsung consumer my whole life, I own their refrigerator with monitor, TV, Washer, etc. That being said, this will be the first time I have provided a poor review and especially in a company I value and respect, reason being I am a strong believer in an honest effort to "right a wrong". In this particular case, I purchased the monitor around Feb 18th, give or take a week for delivery. It was my first Monitor I purchased New, which I know makes me sound like dork, but I was excited, especially for a curved monitor. That being said, the monitored arrived, sharp looking monitor, light, awesome, except for the fact that the stand stem cannot be removed from the back of the monitor. It is VESA compatible, but pending how the monitors back will be facing (to a wall or away from away) could deter you from this monitor. It did not bother me, as noted still believe in Samsung products, but not in this case. After connecting my monitors I was in work station heaven, when a couple months into owning it, I noticed a black spec in the middle of my monitor. I should note, I do not game, this monitor is for work, which I work on a computer for 8-12 hours 5-6 days a week, as a pharmaceutical clinical oversight manager,. If the issue was off center, I may not have noticed it, but in the middle of my monitor, where I work on excel spreadsheets all day long, mistaking a black spec as a decimal point could be a costly mistake. Escalated the issue to Samsung, who has always demonstrated superior customer service, attempted to help me the first time, only to then slam the door on my face and tell me that the monitor is covered by warranty for 3 years, however when a pixel dies , it requires 5 pixels to below before it can repair the issue and if I decided to submit the monitor it would only be returned to me as is because it does not meet the required dead pixels. Completely . useless and unacceptable, what Samsung customer service demonstrated to me that day is they do not believe nor stand behind the quality of their work, in turn, allowing one of millions of loyal consumers to live with their faulty product and begin to search elsewhere for another competing electronic company who continues to treat their customers with the respect and hospitality. All in all, I pray my situation was a fluke, but look out for burned out Pixels. Where Samsung fell short, Amazon once again demonstrated superior customer service and helped me address the issue. Thank you Amazon.

Install Flash Player PROs: Curved screen, decent quality. CONs: BSOD, flickering issue, Samsung support process, only "decent" quality. I bought two of these at the same time. One of them works as advertised, but one had a flickering issue around the edges of shapes that contrast. Very hard on the eyes. FWIW, the issue only happened when plugged into HDMI; VGA was OK but thats not a valid configuration for my setup. After a bunch of chat and phone support time wasting, they gave me a return auth and I sent the monitor back to Samsung for repair. Received it back 2 weeks later. The repair notes said they fixed the issue "NO COLOR", which wasnt an issue but OK. Samsung chat subsequently told me they "replaced the main PCB Board". Upon receiving it, I eagerly set it up to try it out. Instantly, my computer blue screens when I plug in the monitor. Well, thats one way to fix it. Happens every time. Now Samsung wants me to ship the monitor back again. Not sure if Ill bother - this thing is a big time waster. Notes: When I took the bad monitor down to send it back to Samsung, I replaced it with an older Acer flatscreen I have (similar specs). So its been a month-long literally side-by-side comparison with the "good" CF390. For the record, the Acers video quality is actually much better than the Samsungs. Color, clarity, refresh are all easier on the eyes - its a very noticeable difference. The Acer is flat and glossy (which I hate) but its actual screen quality is notably higher than the Samsung. Maybe a some quality is sacrificed with the curved screen... Bottom line: if it worked as advertised, this is a 4-star monitor. Cheap, curved, and OK screen quality. But with only a 50/50 shot at it working, plus the ridiculous Samsung warranty process: a single star is all it merits.
