I recently purchased this monitor from Amazon for my latest build. A few things it presented that interested me were the size (32"), the curve, the color (white), multiple inputs. This monitor delivers on all accounts and for a reasonable price (just under 400 at time of purchase). The monitor itself has a small bezel, the curve is easy to get used and and after just a little while very pleasing. Im not sure if I will ever go back to a straight monitor. The picture quality is excellent and performance is exceptional. My use is mixed between document editing, video editing and streaming, and mild gaming with modern titles. The capability of multiple documents open on this single screen as well as increased landscape for video timeline editing has been a much welcomed experience. The adjustment for the monitor settings work very well. They are smooth and easy to navigate. There are no speakers on this monitor so if this is something you need you may want to look at something else. For my use they are not needed as I utilize external speakers. My only regret is not moving to a monitor like this sooner. This monitor is great, but not without its short falls. The base attaches easily and sturdy, however it is not adjustable at all. Luckily there is a vesa mount and this monitor will see a new articulating stand soon. This monitor includes a short (3) HDMI cable and a power cable with power brick. The power cable is a good length and in my case the brick is well placed and was not in the way of my cable management. I enjoy this monitor so much I will most likely add at least one more to this build possibly two. UPDATE: I referenced this monitor stand as having no adjustment and that is not correct. It does have adjustment of tilt only by a couple of degrees. It was very stiff at first. I will include pictures of the adjustment. It also has a 4ms response and 60Hz refresh rate at 1920 x 1080

Out of the box I was initially kind of worried because of the resolution, however, after tinkering with the setting and scaling down the size of the text, it really sharpened things up. It looks amazing now, and I dont have any buyers remorse. If you arent happy in the beginning just try scaling down the text and changing the display mode on the monitor to find the one you like.

Purchased the Viotek 32" monitor based on Amazon and searching online monitor reviews. Not sure if everyone experienced the same as I did but the monitor just didnt provide the quality I was looking for. I ordered the Samsung CF391 Series Curved 32-Inch FHD and VIOTEK NB32C 32" LED CURVED COMPUTER MONITOR within a week a part and the Samsung blew away the Viotek 32". Where you can see the difference between the two monitors is that Samsung is crisp, clean, vibrant, and depth of colors. Also, I noticed there is no white blemishes where there is dead black. It is possible that the monitor I received could have been a dud but I doubt it with the tests I performed extensively. The Samsung monitor was about $75.00 more than the Viotek and Amazon lowered the price to about the same as Viotek. Where the Viotek strengths are for a basic office monitor and lower quality movie watching where people are not picky about top notch quality. I do like the real estate width of the monitor over the Samsung which is nice feature. Other than that if I was only buying the monitor for basics, it is a good price. Samsung monitor lives up to the name - was watching 4k movies, pictures, graphics and had that awww" moment. For the price I will definitely purchase a second monitor...Very satisfied! Hope this review helps..

I LOVE this monitor. The price is insane cheap for what you get IMO. I have a 55 inch plasma tv on the wall that I often use when I am trading crypto assets as it allows me to display multiple charts at once and still be able to read the data. This monitor is so much clearer and defined (dpi) than the plasma. First time buying a curved monitor and I am sold for life. About to order a second, maybe 3 more so I can have 4 on the wall. I manage NOCs for a living and am used to have massive displays that cover yards on the wall. This is a great start. The clarity is really impressive to me. I dont game but do watch videos while working and they look amazing on this guy. I am sure there are higher quality monitors but not for this price. 229 was a steal in my view. Love it, cant wait to get more. Samsung I love you.

This is a great monitor. I have recently had the opportunity to review the 27" version of this monitor (Samsung CF591 Series Curved 27" LED-lit Monitor LC27F591FDNXZA). Pretty much everything from that review applies to this monitor. I will refer to the monitors as the 27" and 32" where I make a comparison between the two in this review. The pictures below should give a real sense of the difference in size between the two monitors. The 32" is bright white; not my favorite choice in colors but as long as I dont touch it with greasy, Cheetos, hands it should be OK. In the pictures you can see that the bezel width is different on each of the screens. If you buy two 27"s or two 32"s this will not be a problem. Both monitors have a maximum resolution of 1920 X 1080 which makes a window across the monitor boundary two different sizes - get two monitors the same size and dont worry about it. The 32" has a resolution is 1920 X 1080 across a rectangle of 27.5" X 15.5". This gives a pixel pitch of 0.014321". For comparison, the 27" has the same resolution 1920 X 1080 across a rectangle of 23.5" X 13.2" giving a pixel pitch of 0.01226" The difference in pixel pitch 0.014321" - 0.01226" = 0.002061" is a really small number but it separates the pixels enough that the 32" screen is slightly "grittier", very very slightly, than the 27" monitor. I replaced my existing 24" Dells with the 27" and 32" and while the larger pixels were noticeable at first I have adjusted and now have no problems with either display. The 32" is truly "immersive"; the curve takes the monitor out to the periphery of my vision and I can take in my entire Windows desktop at the same time. The 27" was good but the 32" does it for me. I wear glasses and the 32", at an ergonomic distance, fills my eyeglass from the frame on the left to the frame on the right. The curvature keeps you from having to adjust eye focus as you scan across the screen(s); this is really helpful at reducing eye strain with multiple monitors. I opened MS-Office apps, Solidworks CAD, Nikon ViewNX image editor, and a DVD and had great visuals. This is more a function of my laptop (Lenovo L430 Thinkpad) video card than the monitor, but the images were crisp with excellent contrast and there were no artifacts in the image that I could say were the cause of the monitor. The colors were bright and vivid although that beauty is in the eye of the beholder. I do not play video games so I cannot comment on how the monitor works there. Both screens are glossy but have been fine to work with beside a bright window in my office - see photos below. Both monitors come with an HDMI cable in the box. Both monitors accept DisplayPort and HDMI inputs; the 27" also has a VGA (15-pin D-sub) analog input. Both monitors include a power brick; the 27" monitor power brick is rated for 35 W; the 32" monitor power brick is rated for 45 W. Both power supplies accept 100-240 VAC input and provide 14 VDC output. The power brick ratings are approximately 35% higher than what the monitors require when operating so there is plenty of safety margin; actual and standby power consumption are much less than these values; see users manuals on Samsung website for additional details. The power bricks connect to the monitor using an ~ 3 long power cord with a small circular connector attached. The power bricks connect to a wall outlet with a ~3 long cable terminated using a right angle, unpolarized, two prong plug. Unpolarized means that the plug can be inserted into the wall outlet either up or down; the prongs are the same width whereas the outlet slots have one slot smaller than the other. Two prong means that the power brick is not grounded. Do NOT freak out over this; the monitor is still perfectly safe; more than half the world uses ungrounded power outlets. All this means is that you can go anywhere in the world, plug in the monitor and it will work. The monitors come with a base stand to hold the monitor in place. The angle of the monitors towards or away from the user can be slightly adjusted; the height of the display cannot. The monitor bases are circular and reasonably heavy to keep the monitor in place and prevent it tipping over. The base of the 27" monitor is about 8.25" in diameter and sticks out ~4" in front of the center of the monitor. The base of the 32" monitor is about 9.5" in diameter and sticks out ~4.5" in front of the center of the monitor. In a review of the 27" monitor one individual complained that he couldnt get his keyboard close enough to the screen; I do not see that as a concern with proper ergonomics taken into account. The 27" monitor has a neat little cable clip running up the rear post of the base which provides good strain relief for the power and video cables. The 32" monitor does not provide this clip; annoying. The 32" monitor comes with 75mm X 75mm threaded mounting holes for a VESA wall or swing arm mount. The 27" monitor does not come equipped for VESA mounting. See 32" monitor users manual page 18 on the Samsung site. Both monitors have the same control interface through a small joystick on the lower back right of the monitors. Pressing in on the joystick turns the monitor on. A menu is displayed if the joystick is pressed while the monitor is on; one option here is to power off the monitor. A second option in the menu is to cycle through the monitor inputs; DisplayPort, HDMI, VGA (27" only). The third menu option allows you to adjust the picture, onscreen display, system, and review monitor information. I had some ghosting issues with the monitor as delivered, it was also way too bright, so I tweaked those values and everything was great; see my review of the 27" monitor to look up the settings. [Update 30 Nov 2016 - re: control, multiple monitor and split-screen - this is taken from comment to this original review] In order to switch between two monitors you reach underneath the bottom right-hand side, find the button (if you do this several times per day you will know exactly where it is), press the button straight down once, tilt it to the left about 3 mm, press again, tilt the button about 3 mm up, select the desired input from a binary list (there are only two inputs - three on the 27" curved), and press the button again. It takes me less than 2.5 seconds and I do not have the switch position memorized; just tried it again and it was under 2 seconds. Problems: you have to have a clear path to the bottom right side of the monitor - no phone or coffee cup; otherwise, there is the possibility of strain by curving your finger up and making a gentle press on a button three times (sorry about the sarcasm). I really do not see this as a big deal. Updating original post to include a picture of the button. Can the monitor be split screened? I do not know for sure. The manual mentions something about "Easy Setting Box" software - I was unable to find it on the website but did not spend a lot of time searching - that may have the functionality you are looking for. I have dual monitors and a single computer so I do not need this functionality. Here is what the manual states "Easy Setting Box enables users to use the monitor by partitioning multiple sections". If you are using multiple computers is a simple KVM switch suitable? or do you need to see both simultaneously? [End Update] Upshot: I like it. I like it very much. Negative annoying things are not that bad. Positive good things are great. The screen size is awesome and truly immersive spanning my entire field of view.

I am very happy with the quality of the pictures on this monitor, but disappointed that I did not realize that the frame and base were "stand-out" white. Wish it had been black instead. The big problem I encountered in exchanging it for my previous 27 inch Samsung TV/Monitor was due to my computer. It is about 4 years old, but has been upgraded substantially so I was not ready to replace it. This monitor requires an HDMI input cable, which is included. Unfortunately, my computer did not have an HDMI output on it. As a result, I had to buy an DVI to HDMI adapter to get it compatible with the new monitor. Next problem was when it was finally connected, the screen displayed "check signal cable". It turns out that when the monitor first comes on that you have to use the bottom right side of the screen as a touch screen to select the input you are using as HDMI. All of these problems turned what should have been a simple installation to a night-mare for an 88 year old PhD Electrical Engineer who thought he was at least semi computer knowledgeable. Had I known that I needed the cable adapter when I ordered the monitor, I could have ordered it for $6.99 instead of having to buy it locally for $17.99.

Fantastic monitor for the price! Ive had this monitor for at least a few months now and the quality is amazing. Some other reviews talk about not being able to watch video on the screen with high quality, I certainly beg to differ. I use this monitor for both my PC and to also watch streams, satellite TV, and high-def videos, all are amazingly displayed. The curve definitely allows you to view the entire screen, which is great for multi-tasking and gaming. I will soon replace my second monitor with another one of these soon!

I was a bit hesitant purchasing a curved monitor but I absolutely love it! It didnt take me long to adjust to the curve and I cant imagine ever going back to a flat screen again. If you are trying to decide if you want a curved monitor, I would say, take the leap! I absolutely love it. I actually noticed a difference in my gaming without any other upgrades. I would purchase this again!

First time with a curved monitor. I had difficulty getting my Xbox and computer to recognise that this is a 32" screen with 1080p resolution... It was stuck at 1024x780p resolution. Ill leave some photos of what I did to get the 1080p resolution, and describe the process after my review of the product. So, I love the monitor. Im a huge samsung fanboy, and I was not disappointed at all with this product. The screen is really bright, but its not terrible. After I fixed it, the picture is sharp, the screen works great, and it even has VESA mounts. The curved part is even cool too, because you feel like you can reach right in the screen and touch the characters in games. Really cool experience. I would definitely recommend. And from the seller I bought from, they even went the extra mile to try to help me fix the resolution issue I was having on my end. So, the resolution issue. Heres how I fixed it: 1) I went to the samsung website (in the photo) and downloaded the "ver. 1.0, MULTI LANGUAGE" and then restarted my computer (as recommended by seller). 2) After that failed, I opened up NVIDIA control panel (you can get there with a right click on your desktop and then look for the control panel in the right click menu), and then I went to Change resolution > Customize > Create Custom Resolution and then used the numbers in the second photo. Although I believe you have to change it to manual for timing to edit those numbers at the bottom. Im not sure how you can change it with other motherboards, but thats how I did it. The seller I bought from tried very hard to help me, and I even called samsung to try and fix the resolution issue, but it was an issue with my cpu recognizing this monitor. Very strange. It still isnt recognized as a samsung monitor. Just "Digital Display." And its even saying its plugged in via DVI, when its hooked up with an HDMI cable... lol

This is a GREAT monitor. I didnt realize what I was missing until I watched HD videos on You Tube using this monitor. Some reviews complain about poor text quality. I didnt find that to be the case at all and as an author good quality text on a monitor is very important to me. Text is fine. Maybe it is because I am using a high quality Asus video card. I am not sure, but this is a great monitor!
