Dell makes good monitors. I like this one. It took the place of the monitor that came with my older Dell back in 2010. I like the 27 inch size. This does NOT come, however, with the connection cord between your CPU and this monitor. MAKE SURE you have a cable correct for your set up. This monitor is VGA output. You can buy adapters etc to make it fit your system if you have a digital video card but make sure you have a digital jack on one end and VGA at the other so you can hook this monitor to your system. I am not a gamer or vary rarely watch HD movies on my computer(s). It has a beautiful picture and vibrant colors. The price is comparable to what you would pay for this size in another brand. The ONLY reason I gave it 4 stars is that it did not come with a connection cable that would fit ANY situation you have have purchased it for. Cables are NOT that expensive and you shouldnt have to wait for a cable or go buy one just to use your new monitor.
