In general, a good monitor. The two downfalls are: 1) The stand is not adjustable, and 2) As several other customers stated, there is a dead pixel very noticeable on a black screen. Good price but very much a disposable, cheap stand-in that meets our current need until we decide we want to invest in something more expensive and permanent.

Came with a missing pixel. I realized very late. After a year or so, the monitor started to develop read lines across the top then the middle, which is getting worse every day. So I now have to replace that. Essentially, theyre selling defective monitors. Update: the lines in the monitor were due to a defective graphics card, so the only true defect is that these monitors seem to all have missing pixels that cant be repaired.

Poor product. Failed 60 days after receiving it! Been waiting more than 10 days for a replacement and have to work with the dealer because Amazon washed their hands after 30 days. The brightness and clarity is sub par. Stuck with this because Im outside the return window.

Best monitor ever. I had an older 7-8 yr old 24" monitor(different brand) and decided to get a new one, especially at 1/5th the price I paid when I purchased my last monitor. What a difference, especially for those of us over 70. Same size as my older monitor but view seems larger, differently sharper, clearer, colorful, etc. It is like night & day. Wish now I would have ordered the next size or so larger but this is fine.

The design is nice, as it comes with a sturdy stand and a decent overall picture and on-screen controls. However, the display panel itself had 5 or 6 pixels that were stuck brightly "on" that were quite noticeable when a dark picture was displayed over their area. They were all towards the edges of the screen, but Ive never seen a monitor before that had more than 1 or 2 defective pixels so I decided to return it while I still had the chance. Maybe I was unlucky and just happened to get a bad one, but I ended up buying a 24" Dell instead that wasnt much more expensive than the Planar and it doesnt even have 1 defective pixel from what I can see. This was my first experience with Planar and also probably my last, unfortunately.

Great monitor for a great price. Bought a converter cable for the HDMI to DVI and they work well together, no complaints. The first one I received was damaged, had a giant knick in the screen and box. Returned it on a Friday and they had a brand new one to my house the following Monday. Second one was in perfect condition, hooked up easily, and is running smoothly. Use this mostly for gaming and the pixels are great for what I play.

Ive had excellent luck with these monitors. Great quality and light weight. I purchased one a year ago and just purchased another for a dual setup. No hdmi input but that can easily be adapted to with a cable for less than $10.

The monitor is adequate, failing to excel in any area, and pretty poor in larger image resolution. There are no drivers available so it runs off of Windoz or Linux generic drivers. Its probably worth the hundredish bucks, but its no great value.

After looking at a 16" screen for years this is an amazing change. Great depth and color. Videos show clean and crisp. Only one thing that is bother some, no high adjustment. If you like your monitor at eye level youll need to get a utility box or riser to bring it up off your desk.

This monitor was purchased for a home office and is not used daily. For this reason I did not want to invest a lot of money. It was easy to mount to a dual monitor stand, but be aware the post at the bottom for a freestanding monitor does not come off. The screen is a perfect size for my use. The picture quality is ok, not as sharp as I would like, but definitely useable. All things considered, a good value.
