Pros * Nice design - Bezels are pretty small and the overall minimalistic design is very nice * SpecsPrice - 1440p 34" 100hz and Freesync and its actually affordable * Great for gaming - No noticeable ghosting, 100hz with Freesync, good response time * Colors are very nice for a VA panel, just dont expect IPS level of color accuracy or vividness. Cons * Stand - No Vesa support out of the box (There is an adapter that you can buy separately) and the stand only has tilt. overall though the stand is sturdy, looks and feels premium. * Brightness - It is advertised for 250 nits but looks much less. My previous Dell IPS is 250 nits and its brighter * Hard to calibrate * Low contrast for a VA panel * No USB hub Additional comments The menu doesnt include a lot of features. Flickers when FPS isnt stable and crossing the Freesync range (Which is 48-100 by the way) Overall its a great monitor, especially if you are looking for a low priced Ultrawide gaming monitor/

I was a bit hesitant buying this monitor due to reported crackling sound lasting for a period of time after the monitor is off. Bit the bullet since it fit my budget. I dont have any issues whatsoever and happy with my purchase. Search for tips on how to set the picture quality.

I like everything about this monitor. Its such a great deal to pass up. The colors arent the brightest but Im still playing around with the settings. Im sure there is software that can improve the colors. This is my first ultrawide monitor so I cannot compare it to others but for the price, this is a steal for those who are budget conscience. Gaming experience so far is going great. I had to change settings on my nvidia gt 1060 on my laptop to get the refresh rate to 100 hz, but it does work. I noticed, if you find videos and pictures made for 21:9 1440p monitors, the potential is amazing.

There are of course some things you give up (like the mentioned VESA mount, ports and some adjustability) The VESA mount problem can be solved by an adapter piece sold by MSI, so in case you really need to install it to a VESA mount, this is entirely possible. The MSI monitor has an integrated power adapter, which causes the monitor make some crackling noises while warming up. This noise last for somewhere around 30-60 minutes and is only mildly annoying didnt bother me much but can be bother to other buyers The panel can be overclocked to 110Hz, at least mine managed this easily. Will need at least a 1070ti to drive the resolution of 3440x1440p 1080ti is a very sweet spot.

The MSI MAG34 Ultrawide is an excellent entry into the Ultrawide space, offering 1440p resolution and a 100hz refresh rate - there arent a lot of these on the market just yet, and the competition is priced much higher. The quality of the panel is great, it isnt an IPS panel - so looking straight on it a must, but I imagine anyone who purchases this will be sitting right in front of it. In regards to gaming on this monitor, its a beast. Im driving this display at its native resolution with a GTX 1080 and well, 90-100 FPS at an ultrawide resolution is quite the experience. Id definitely recommend this product.

I really enjoyed this product for the few days I had it, theres nothing wrong with it at all but 34 inches of screen just wasnt what I liked. I am going to be downgrading back to 27" so that was the reason for my return. Gaming was good overall but FPS shooters like Black Ops 4 werent so pleasant to play on, but that is something that was to be expected. The low brightness was a very minimal issue but like someone mentioned in another review there is a guide that has exact settings to make the brightness a lot better. Would recommend this monitor though for everything else!

Reading the reviews I was a little skeptical and wasnt sure if this was the right monitor for me. first few times I used it the ultra wide felt really weird but now I love it. Picture quality is pretty darn good especially since im upgrading, and I havent had any crackling noises when starting up like others have had. great for my dual monitor set up, using it as my main. Cons: I only have one and this is why I didnt give it five stars, one pixel towards the far right of the screen is dead, but its so small and since its on the side it doesnt bug me too much.

For an Ultrawide, I think this might be one of the best options! even though the response time is at 8ms and kinda responds a little slower than the high teir monsters, you wont even notice unless you play highly competitive twitch based games. For the price I dont think you can beat it!
Make sure this fitsby entering your model number. 34" LCD panel LED backlight (3440 x 1440 WQHD) 100Hz refresh rate - Display without after image 1800R curve panel design – most suitable for human eyes 8ms response time helps eliminate screen tearing and choppy frame rates Wide view angle - 178 。visible 100 hertz
