Id honestly avoid this product at all costs. Ive had more problems with using it than actual use. Ill explain why. When I first used the monitor, it bricked the entire system, locking it up every few seconds when using the mouse. Took me too much time to find out the solution to this problem, which was to update my AMD Graphic Drivers, and that fixed the problem. After I update my drivers, it tells me to update it again to like 18.10 or something, and that update bricked the system AGAIN, So i had to uninstall the drivers and reinstall them for the computer to function correctly. After a bit of usage, another problem came along and made the refresh rate to a solid 60 even when the computer still shows 144hz, but when I use my mouses scroll wheel its a solid 144hz again. The only positive thing I have to give is the picture quality on this monitor. Its really really good for $200. Overall, spend your money on another gaming monitor; youll thank yourself later.

Install Flash Player Well to start off. I loved the monitor to death. It was everything I wanted. 144HZ, Curved and sexy. I had no issue with the monitor for a whole year. Until 12/11/2018 For what ever reason. Whenever I would open any kind of games The monitor would show the opening of most games and then glitch out and go black. I am still able to hear game audio and I can still move my mouse and things. But the display is black. I have tried updating drivers, I have tried going back to old drivers to the ones I knew worked before. And just today. 12/13/2018 A new driver came out and it still doesnt work. I thought maybe it was the Displayport cable so I bought a new one. Still does the same thing. I thought maybe its just my graphics card dying. "By the way I have a GTX 1080ti." So I tested the games with a different monitor and the games worked great. I have tried disabling 144hz see if thats the issue. Nope. I tried updating my Bios and formatting my computer. Nothing. I sent in a RMA Request and I was told that the monitor was out of warranty and it went out of warranty on 12/11/18. I was told I could send they the monitor for them to take a look at. But I would have to Pay for shipping and I will be charged for a diagnostic fee of $69. But they wont charge me if I agree for the repair cost. But if I dont agree with the repair cost I will be charged the $69 and be sent back the not working monitor. I havent heard back from Support Sense. I really enjoyed the monitor. But to have a 1 year life span with a 1 year warranty really drops any kind of recommendation.

Please let me start off by saying that I have been using a computer as my primary gaming platform for years and wanted to upgrade from my no-name QNIX 27 inch 1440p display. figured with the enormous amount of product reviews around these MSI displays that it was a smart choice, boy was I wrong. After about 10 trips back and forth to my garage as well as 2 trips into town I was finally able to secure my VESA mount to the display because MSI thought it would be a great idea to put the monitor stand mount right in the middle of where the VESA mount goes, whatever I overlooked that as I was finally ready to boot my computer back up and check out some of these display settings as well as the MSI Gaming OSD Ive read so much about........ turns out this display does not actually support that OSD so that was a let down, also turns out that no matter how much calibration you do, whether it be through windows directly, through the Nvidia app, or through the display itself no matter what you do the colors are washed out, simple changes such as turning response time from s off to normal or off to extreme also changes the color settings? why would the responsiveness of the panel change the color representation? I will be sending this one straight back and will continue my research because obviously MSI does not know how to make a quality display, maybe the MAG27CQ has better color representation and offers a better picture but this panel sure is not it, save your $450 and put it towards something nicer because my 2 year old QNIX 1440p 60hz TN panel looks much much better than this does and it most certainly should not.

Im coming from a 1440p 60hz monitor so adjusting back down to 1080p is going to take some time. But even with the lower resolution (which I can clearly tell, sadly) Im very happy with this monitor. I currently dont have a GPU that can push 1440p 144hz and I probably wont for a while so I wanted to try a 1080p 144hz for the time-being. I only have a gtx 1060 and running dual monitors i cant even push 144hz on most of the games I play. The last 144hz monitor I tried was the HP Omen 25" 144hz monitor and it was an awful experience. The backlight bleed was horrendous.. the color was terrible.. the backlight was not uniform with the left, middle, and right side.. the only good thing about that monitor was the superb build quality. I just dont understand how that monitor has good ratings. Maybe its just TN trash.. I dont know. Im not sure if I got super lucky or what but there are 0 dead pixels, 0 backlight bleed showing at all.. this is the first monitor Ive ever owned out of 2~ dozen that is just completely black when on.. without any sort of bleeding light. The curve is definitely noticeable, but it doesnt bother me.. and I think this is probably a huge personal preference where it might irritate some people. Luckily, Im easily able to adapt. If MSI had a 1440p 144hz 24" version of this monitor.. I think I would gift this, MAG24C, to a friend and buy that.. because personally I think 1440p on a 24" is perfect... or 4k on a 27"+... I think 1080p is good on 22" or lower.. 1080p quality just doesnt look good on a 24" in my eyes. That said, this monitor is really nice.... so Im going to adjust. The only thing I need to test more/try and notice is ghosting. I mostly play games like overwatch, hearthstone, fortnite, dead by daylight (perfect monitor for this darkish game) and single player titles like the witcher/tomb raider. I might have to try the Optix MAG27CQ.. owning the MAG24C gives me a lot of confidence in this brand/model line-up. Edit: after using for a day, I have noticed that the brightness does shift depending on vertical and horizontal orientation. Its not bad, but noticeable coming from IPS. Update 10/2/2018: removing 1 star because the vesa mounting should have had a better solution. MSI should have included adapters with this monitor to make the vesa mounting usable. (one thing I liked about the HP omen 25" was they included a very nice vesa adapter) If vesa is deal-breaker for you I would STAY AWAY from this monitor. It might work for you, it might not... again.. monitors like this should 100% include a vesa adapter to help with mounting. UPDATE 11/26/2018: removing 1 star because I started to notice a buzzing sound during the night. I couldnt figure out where it was coming from, but then I noticed that it corresponded to the BLUE LED on the front when the monitor was in sleep mode. I tried to look in the OSD for an option to disable this light completely, but there isnt an option for that. This is a pretty annoying buzz I have to deal with during the night (I could just turn the monitor off, but its 2018.. there should be an option to disable it in the settings). I really hope there is a firmware update that can resolve this issue. I still think this is a great 1080p 144hz display, but definitely some quirks one has to deal with (vesa is awkward and will not work with some vesa solutions. Buzz coming from blue LED with no option to disable/turn-off) The buzz is not noticeable during regular usage.

I have the 27-inch 2560 x 1440 144hz 1ms response time and I am absolutely BLOWN AWAY! Best purchase I have made in a long time, I do not know why people do not leave reviews for 144hz but I feel as if I have been teleported into the future of gaming, everything is amazingly fast and so smooth the 144hz combo with the 1ms response time and 2k resolution is maniac especially if you have a monster rig that can run it, I was gaming in 4k 60hz before this running everything ultra that is in the past, the 144hz changed everything and made me fall in love with gaming all over again, I would usually place first in various games but was always wondering, how is this guy beating me I am an excellent player, the only conclusion I can come up with now is that they had 144hz and I did not! My reaction time is insane and overall playing has improved tenfold, I am a monster at everything I play now and it is smoother than real life. IF YOU ARE THINKING ABOUT THE JUMP FROM WHATEVER YOU HAVE TO 144HZ YOU MUST DO IT! THIS IS YOUR SIGN, IF YOU WANT TO BE A BETTER PLAYER OR JUST SEE WHAT ITS LIKE TO GAME IN HEAVEN PLEASE BUY!

Excellent display. No dead pixels, great refresh rate and build quality. The only quirk it has is that it seems to expand/contract throughout the day as the room changes temperature, causing the plastic on the rear of the monitor to "creak" or "pop" occasionally (quite a lot after the sun goes down as well). Nonetheless, I am very pleased and hope this stays in production a few more years so I can pick up an identical one to replace my other aging flat monitor with. Side note: Dont expect to be working with photos or other applications that require high color accuracy. It is hardly noticeable in most use cases except editing photos for example.

Size: 32-inch | Style: Optix AG32CQ Review First off this is a great monitor for the price at this size, especially if you are looking for 144Hz. I mainly got this monitor because it was VESA compatible, however; when I tried to attach the VESA arm to the back of the monitor it would not fit. The metal piece that helps connect the monitor to the included stand was sticking out too much for me to screw the VESA plate in. I had to saw off that piece of metal in order for it to work; it turned out wonderful! I Just did not want to return the VESA arm or the monitor. Unfortunately, the port of the Displayport is a bit too big and loose for normal Displayport cable. Everything works as it should when the monitor is in a static position. Its only when I move the monitor with the VESA arm that I encounter problems. When I moved it the screen will go blank if it was in a wrong angle. Which is frustrating when Im doing homework or studying for an exam and I need the monitor in a certain angle. Wish I noticed the port issue before I saw off the piece of metal and threw the box away. Luckily, I had a spare Displayport cable with a (umm) more girthy tip that resolved the issue. Now I can extend the arm to any angle and the screen wont go blank. Incase anyone wants to know. Displayport that resolved the issue https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B078HVDMW2/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 DC plug extension https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00FTGH38W/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o08_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 The VESA desk mount with the compatible issue but works great nonetheless https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B074DQYT25/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o00_s01?ie=UTF8&psc=1

FIRST EXPERIENCE AND OPINIONS *jump past for my recommendations and tips new and veteran pc gamers This monitor is incredible! Jumping from 1080p to 1440p is phenomenal. its not going to be as nice as a 4k screen but 4k is absolutely not ready for competitive gamers like me. I cannot be handicapped by low fps or low refresh rates. This monitor has a lot of settings to pick from within the intuitive UI menu accessible from the rear joystick like button. The monitor has 3 refresh rate settings (Normal Fast Fastest). Fastest is enabled with the use of the anti motion blur setting in the menu. I personally use fast as using fastest lowers the screens brightness down 40 percent or so. In all honesty, I could not feel the difference between fast and fastest, I still destroyed players in Rainbow and Fortnite :D With the addition of FREESYNC 2 and other cool color management settings, this monitor is one great value for performance. THINGS I HIGHLY RECOMMEND DOING AND LOOKING OUT FOR DURING INITIAL USE or PRIOR TO PURCHASE! -Make sure you have sufficient desk space for this beast, the pictures do not really show how far back the monitors rear leg gets. This monitor needs close to a foot of clearance from the back of the panel to the wall or whatever you have your desk near (that is how i measured) -it is EXTREMELY important that you have decent hardware before purchasing this display, if you are unsure if your machine can handle this monitor at the settings in game you to run it on, type your computer specifications into YouTube and take a look at benchmarks. I would say if your rig cant hit at least 60 fps minimum on 2K on your settings, I would advise looking into a different monitor. (my system has an NVIDIA RTX2080 and a Ryzen 7 2700x, works brilliantly for my tasks) - Run thorough checks of the hardware and peripherals that come with the unit, I received two monitors within a week. My first one was replaced by my second. My first display seemed fine until I noticed a little too much light bleed and some dead pixels on the bottom right. I eventually exchanged it and got my replacement 2 days later. after running some light and screen tested I found that the second one had a perfect screen but the stand and feet I received were busted. There was this little red ring above the feet that came damaged. Additionally the second unit was quite wobbly (material quality 3/5 not much attention to QC). I took the screen from the new one and just used my old stand and everything is fantastic. -If you made it this far you are probably fairly impressed with this monitor, for newer PC gamers (yes do not buy this monitor for console games, you are essentially throwing money in a fire with all that unused technology just sitting there) this panel does not automatically switch to 144hz by itself, you need to enable and change this setting within windows display settings or through your GPU control center. -If you are buying this monitor for anything other than PC gaming, I highly think you are wasting your money as many of the features in this monitor are aimed towards the PC gamer. You can grab a better monitor for productive use for half the price with the same resolution. Do not get me wrong, this display has some great color reproduction and a lot of settings for the productive person. However, a big portion of the pricetag of this monitor is directly aimed at the needs of a PC Gamer. I wish you all luck and excitement with your new monitor! if anyone wants to request more pictures of the display, reply to the review :D

I switched from a 24" Asus 120hz panel to this. The image is so blurry I cant play fps games on it. If you are one of the dummies who says "your eye cant see more than 24 fps" then go ahead and buy this monitor. If you can actually see whats happening around you and have the innate ability to interact with your environment in real time based on visual auditory input coupled with other immediate sensory feedback, then this is NOT the monitor for you. If you are old school and remember the buttery smooth response of CRT monitors, then look elsewhere. This monitor may advertise extremely low response time and refresh rate, but my last one was only 2ms response time with 120hz refresh and it was WAY faster. When walking around viewing detailed environments in full detail, such as BFV and other recent titles, everything goes blurry any time you move even slightly. This is totally unusable. Ive tried just about every setting on this monitor to get a smooth image. The games are running 150+ fps on my rig, so thats not the issue. The issue is that this monitor simply DOES NOT give the response and refresh rate advertised. Looking at ufo test site it looks terrible. My 120hz monitor right next to this is much smoother running the same testufo. I had high hopes, but after a week or two, I just cant take the blurry image. It gets me killed because the image isnt smooth when the action gets tough. Im very disappointed. ANYONE who can make a 32" or greater monitor with TRUE 144hz or higher and 1ms response time can name their price. None of the others out today do as well either. We are stuck with sub 30" monitors until something better comes along for serious gamers. If every single frame counts for you, and you know who you are, then do NOT buy this monitor.

The quality is evident before you even open the box, which is to be expecting from MSI. Assembling and attaching the stand was quick and simple, only required a screwdriver. The picture is crystal clear and great for watching movies and playing games. For me what made this monitor stand out from other similar products in the market was the HDMI 2.0 support, which they unfortunately dont advertise enough. My gaming laptop only has an HDMI which is typically capped at 60hz but with HDMI Im actually able to utilize 120hz! Finally getting to use my GeForce GTX 1070 to its full power! Id never used a curved screen before but Ill never go back to regular flat monitors, though it will be years before I ever need to consider buying another one.
Make sure this fitsby entering your model number. 23.6" LCD panel LED backlight (1920 x 1080 full HD) 144Hz refresh rate - Display without after image. 1ms response time helps eliminate screen tearing and choppy frame rates Wide view angle - 178° visible. Adaptive sync - keep screen tearing away from your monitor.
