For reference: i7-7700, 12GB RAM, RX 580 8GB. Pros: it’s fast and smooth. There are a decent amount of options and settings to configure. The preset game modes help “fix” the color problems but you have to manually switch and configure them for each game. Quick selector shortcuts that are configurable. The curve is a subtle but nice upgrade from a flat screen. Cons: Banding, barn door effect, pixel inversion, overdrive artifacting, “flat” grey color as baseline, USB ports did not work out of the box, drivers were not referenced in the docs or on the website. Some limited ghosting. My MacBook Pro (2nd HMDI input) registers it as 1920x1080p even after forcing 1440p resolution. Now, this is not just in games, this is on the desktop, looking at 4K videos, photo editing. The monitor benchmark overlay shows 1440p and 144hz in apps and in games but the quality and color are terrible. Compared to my $250 Asus monitor this is garbage. For double the price I don’t understand, I’m going to assume I have a faulty unit, but with so many things wrong I’m not risking a second one.

Happy with my purchase of this monitor. It replaced a much more expensive one that was also 31.5" and curved but that one suffered from really slow response times and caused image blur in fast movements. This one has much faster response and is a much better gaming monitor for less. Colors are good once you fine tune it to your liking. Interface is pretty easy to get used to. Height adjustable stand is also a big plus to me. Good monitor that does 144hz refresh and has freesync. The only con with this monitor is slightly uneven white and grey screens. The left side of my monitor has a warmer shade and a cooler shade on the right side. I dont notice it at all gaming but if your browsing web pages or doing doing multimedia work you will most likely notice it.

This came in right before Devil May Cry 5 came out. 14 hours spent playing Devil May Cry 5 and I had an amazing experience this monitor is big but looks crystal clear with 1440p resolution. The RGB is a nice addition but it is sadly just a tiny strip. 144Hz is amazing for fast gameplay games like FPS and in my experience devil may cry. The stand looked lacking but is surprisingly well crafted. Not much I can say in terms of cons for this monitor besides the price, this is a pricey luxury item. No "native G-sync" might be a con but I do not mind. I used a DisplayPort cable with my RTX 2080 Video card.

First off the product came a day early that was nice. the monitor itself is amazing! i was worried at first because people are talking about running 1ms response time was to dim to even play. took a sec to figure out how to get "fastest mode" to turn on had to turn off freesync and zero latency thought that was odd. however running 1440p and 1 ms response time looks and feels amazing. also run games like metro and division 2. using rtx 2070 and freesync is compatible with nvidia. all in all great monitor for the price.

A great premium product for a premium yet competitive price. I paid $419 for this monitor a while back and I have no regrets. Its a great 1440p monitor with great list of features and amazing performance. The color range allows for a great, vivid display while playing games and viewing web content. The I/O on the back is a nice touch too, cutting down effort required for routing stuff to my PC that doesnt require high bandwidth or low latency with the 2x USB 2.0 ports, microphone jack for some speakers, and 2 HDMI ports makes switching between PC and Xbox with freesync enabled a breeze. Overall I really enjoy having this monitor and if youre in the market for a great 1440p 144hz monitor with Freesync at a great price, Id recommend this one.

When I saw these monitors online I was a little wary. I have been fooled in the past about supposedly great monitors with a zillion reviews. I have learned to read the reviews carefully to look for BOT like responses. This product is EXACTLY as advertised. I took a chance and bought 3 of them. (make sure to get the right mount to handle them.) Right out of the box these were easy to set up and totally user friendly. The vivid color, the slim design and the awesome lighting on the back as well. I had no idea there were colored cool looking lights on the back. When people walk into my office and see these giant screens the first thing the say is WOW! Even the tech geeks come in and ask all sorts of questions beyond my experience level. I let them sit down and run their investigation into the monitors and everyone them comes out with a resounding WOW!. I am very happy with these monitors and as of yet I have not found one thing I dislike. I have them all side by side in a curve. I see no "bleed out" of color or brightness on the far edges and they are just as bright as the center. I highly recommend them.

Love the size and out of the box color setting was good. the curve isnt that noticeable strangely enough. The rgb lights on the back are not that noticeable, that could good or bad depending on your preference for rgb.MSI Mystic light controls the function . The one thing I dislike is the power brick I much prefer a strait plug in rather than a seperate power adapter. Coming from a BenQ 24 inch 144hz 1080 p to this 32 1440 p 144hz is a good step up in screen real estate. Was worried about my ryzen 5 2600 and the RX 580 8 gig video card would have trouble stepping up to 1440p 144hz but so far doesnt seen to be any slow down frame rate wize still running most games at ulta to high settings. 60 to 100+ fps on most newer games. Doom, shadow of the tomb raider ,assassins creed origins.

Msi knocked it out of the park on this one.. well except with their customer service.. I updated my review below. The colors seem to be pretty close, and didnt require much adjustment. The picture quality is beautiful, vibrant, and Ive had no issues with ghosting. The msi software to adjust the monitor is a godsend compared to ones with built in options that you have to access via the monitor. It doesnt take up a bunch of ram either while in the background, and I appreciate that. Everything was though out well, easy to understand, and looks extremely clean / well made. If you are thinking about picking this up, do it. At the price point, this is a no brainer. I havent seen anything else that competes with it visually and the level of adjustment you have. *update* Msis customer service is non existent for their promos. Both that I had were 4 days into the promotion, just sat as "Awaiting Approval" for over a month, and expired. I had even contacted an agent about it weeks ago, and they said everything was fine. If you notice any promos on items you buy, dont plan on getting them.. MSI used to be such a good company too. :P

Great monitor!! I was trying out all my games and they looked great!!! The FPS won’t get bigger than 80 if you don’t have a graphics card better than the GTX 1070, but for me 60 FPS or above is fine!!! I went from a 720p, 60hz monitor, to this MSI Monitor, and the difference is huge!!! Picture quality, and screen quality are really good, but sometimes might hurt your eyes a bit. That can be fixed by making the brightness lower. Really cool monitor!!!!!!!!
