I upgraded from a PS3 TV (yeah, the one from 6-7 years ago). This behemoth makes my homework easier dividing up screens with the huge amount of real estate to work with, most of the games i play can go to 21:9, and using VLC I can set the ratio to 2.39:1 so most video playback is full screen and not overly stretched. The speakers are legitimately good enough on their own for almost everything. The controls to modify options are easy to use and understand and the joystick setup to navigate and use them is extremely simple (no more 9 different buttons to push). The screen is crisp and colors are very true. It gets up to 75hz (I use AMD FreeSync as well) and after configuring it with AMD Catalyst everything looks and runs smoothly. I got an extremely competitive price with Prime shipping at no charge as well. Really dont have any complaints, glad I bought it.

I specifically chose this monitor because of the price and the USB-C input. As many have said the quality of the screen is very good. Keep in mind that this is not the highest resolution option but at this price point, it is a great option. I consider this a value buy for the quality and for the Free sync technology if you have a AMD Radeon video card as well as the fact that unlike most monitors it has the USB-C with DP Alt mode. To use USB-C, you MUST buy the proper USB-C cable which has the latest bandwith (10 Gbs). Here is the link to the cable that I bought for the specs if you need it: Nekteck USB-IF Certified USB C 3.1 GEN 2 Cable(10Gbps/100W) USB C to USB C Cable C to C(Thunnderbolt 3 Compatible) with E-marker & Power Delivery For MacBook Pro Galaxy Note 8 Pixel 2/Black 3.3ft Playing games on this monitor and editing photos and video is really cool. The extra real estate for timeline in editing is quite handy and the extra space on the side for your pallet and tools is great as well. The very pleasant surprise - Before I bought, I had read people commenting on how the speakers were pretty good but I do not buy monitors and really consider the built in speaker but I must say that I was absolutely shocked at the very decent sound of the built in speaker. This was another big win for me for my Macbook Pro as again this removed additional clutter on the desk and less cables. This speaker will not blow your mind but it is more than sufficient for most things. Usually built in monitor speakers are crap so this was a nice bonus. The software - there is some really cool software that is included that allows for PIP and split screen. Simple to use and not one of those installs that you play with once and never use again. This is genuinely a very utilitarian addition that is done well. Conclusion - Listen guys/gals, this monitor is not exactly the highest quality screen you can get because the resolution is only 2560 x 1080, the refresh rate is respectable at 75hz, BUT bang for the buck, I just do not think there is a better value buy than this as of this writing for under $280. I am very happy with this buy I would definitely recommend this to anyone.

When this box arrived it felt super light, but I figured, hey, that must just be technology advances and all of that. Then I opened the box, looked inside, and LITERALLY thought they had forgotten to include my monitor. It was so thin I didnt even recognize what I was looking at. And of course I love it! This monitor was an upgrade from a HANNS-G 27 inch monitor. It felt a little narrow for the first few minutes, but after that I got used to the size, and realized I have so much more "real estate" on my screen. The single joystick menu control is intuitive, and one of the easiest monitor controls Ive ever used. The stand is solid, and give you a wide range of height adjustment, and is also very easy to use. I couldnt be happier with this product, and highly recommend it to everyone. It definitely changed my entire gaming experience. I regret nothing!

Huge ! Delivers a great picture in games. The freesync helps game play smooth under 60fps ( good for middle of the road cards). How ever I leave it on with my XFX RX 580 (1470/ 2200) and I receive no ghosting/ tearing or flickering even when FPS dips below 60 in certain situations. I’m no expert by any means but it feels like it does the same job or better as VSYNC but without the input lag. The Black highlighting feature makes a huge difference for dark areas, and being adjustable lets you get a good balance of improved dark vision without washing out the picture. The built in cross hair feature is very helpful and find my self using it in almost every game. All in all it’s a good monitor worth the money as games are very immersive when they correctly support the 21:9 aspect ratio. I don’t competitively play FPS games so I can’t tell if the 5ms refresh and the 75hz instead of 144hz would be a noticeable difference if you are thinking of switching from a 144hz 1ms refresh monitor. Only con - The on screen driver software is glitchy and often crashes and restarts.

I am not a technical person and I had problems setting the monitor to work with my desktop pc so I hired someone. It took him a little while to adjust the monitor view and speakers. I bought a cable (S-HDMI) to make the features work with my Lenovo pc as it didnt want to accept the 2560x1080 resolution. Once it was set up, I have a good and clear vision to my work. The monitor has a matte finish and my eyes dont get tired or I am not bother by the glare either. Love the speakers. It sounds great and great volume. The one thing I do not like is that the stand is heavy (understandably), and the feet are too wide open. This makes it hard to move from one place or another. I would love it if LG made some adjustments to this monitor and the stand to make swivel, this way I could set the monitor in one place, in one setting but when needed I could just turn the monitor a bit to show other people near me what I am working on.

Probably the second-best upgrade Ive done, after the move from HDD to SSD, was buying this monitor. Games and media look incredible. The entire experience of using my computer has improved significantly. When you consider how much time you spend staring at your screen, its worth investing in a good one. I just wish it had G-Sync to pair with my GTX 1060, but thats really more Nvidias fault than LGs due to the proprietary licensing. The OnScreen software can also be kind of buggy, but exiting and starting it again clears it up.

Couldn’t be happier with this monitor. At under $300, you won’t find a better ultrawide. I would love for it to be curved, but I can’t ask for too much under $300. The quality is incredible with free sync and 1ms motion blur. It is 75hz but still a big improvement from 60hz. I tested a 32” curved 165hz gaming monitor but at 1080p it just wasn’t for me. With this monitor you get so much screen real estate and 75hz is still plenty imo even for an FPS. Noticing the price is at $350 now at the time of me writing this review but that’s still a good buy. If it drops any lower I’d say absolutely purchase it.

This monitor is awesome! Easy hookup. Nice touch with the hook in the back, you can hang your headset on it. Height and tilt are adjustable. Picture quality is nice at 2560x1080. Be sure to set your display properties in Windows at 75mhz, if youre using DisplayPort. This is a true IPS LCD, it is viewed able at a parallel angle, that is truly impressive. This monitor is very colorful and vibrant. Image are crisp, It is only 75 hertz and only 1080p, but the sharpness of image and text is way above average and completely satisfying. the free sync feature is great, no lag in gaming at all. The price is great for this fantastic monitor. A great value and Amazon had the lowest price!

I love the picture, I am running an NVIDIA card, so I dont benefit from Freesync, but overall, its a great monitor. The picture is clear, it does suffer a bit more than normal if there is glare from a window or light due to the low level of brightness. It gives great immersion for games and the screen is clear with no dead pixels. The price was fantastic. The 1ms setting actually has to be enabled on the monitor, and for me, it makes anything other than games pulse and look really bad, so I disabled it, and frankly, the picture looks great without it, though I dont play FPS games, so it may be worth it in those cases. Overall, for the price Id definitely recommend it.

EXCELLENT monitor. I use it for business (not gaming). I replaced two 21.5-inch monitors with this one. The viewing landscape is wider and taller than the two monitors side-by-side that I replaced and doesnt have that gap in the center where the other two monitors abutted. It has taken a while to get used to sizing and moving open application windows around to my best advantage, but overall I really like this monitor. The brightness, contrast, etc. were perfect for me right out of the box so Ive not needed to make any adjustments.
