As a 1k+ gaming monitor it is very light weight. LG made this for mobile using like lap top? Ive been using Dell Alienware 34 inch IPS 3440x1440, feel that quality was so good! Another issue is there are a little bit dark area on the side of screen when I turn the screen all white page. Could be the LG IPS common failing Im not so sure. But anyway great design of the RGB Led back light. I made two star instead of one because of this :D

Edit: After two months of weekend-only use, this monitor developed a straight line of dead pixels down the left side of the screen. Its left alone in an empty room 95% of the time (my husbands gaming room), and theres no one to knock it or cause damage by twisting, etc. We simply turned it on last night for a gaming session, and there were dead pixels. Buyer beware. Original review: **Note that when you assemble this monitor, be careful not to lie the monitor face down on any old surface, since you can damage it that way. It comes with is a Styrofoam "pad" to lie it on while you assemble it.** Works like a charm right out of the box, and has excellent picture quality. Took me a little while to figure out all the Windows 10 configurations, but thats user error, not the fault of the monitor. There are four pre-set game modes you can choose from in the monitor settings (accessed by the button on the monitor, itself) and you can also customize several variables to tweak to your satisfaction. The back lighting is a nice touch, and you can scroll through colors to pick the back light you find most appealing. The monitor also acts as a USB/HDMI/Audio hub so you can connect all your peripherals in one place. There are many more features that as you game you can explore (monitor has built in cross-hair, etc). Overall a very good value for immersive gaming.
