This is the best display at this price and at this size, by far. Bright, sharp, clear image without distortion or dead pixels. At 32" it fits comfortably on my desk - its actually smaller than I anticipated (but this is a good thing)! I agree with what some others have stated - turn off the Black Stabilizer. I found that even on the desktop and browsing the internet, it washed out the darker images and was not very attractive. Also, when using FreeSync, found that for my PC the "response time" function created terrible ghosting effects when moving images or folders across my screen, as well as in-game ghosting when turning the camera. If you use FreeSync, disabling the "response time" feature was the best option. The other built-in features I have not fully explored (dual monitor, PIP, etc) so I cannot comment to their effectiveness. Personal opinion: do not turn the sharpness up to 100. I find that too much sharpness creates an "edge detection" effect that blooms dark lines (like text) with white glow (you may have experienced this when plugging your PC into a TV input). Turning down the sharpness a bit helps in this regard, and creates a more "natural" feel to the images on screen. This, of course, is my own opinion based on preference, so your preference may vary :) Overall, this is a great monitor for a great price. The built-in features need some additional tweaking, and you should probably explore the settings a bit to adjust the monitor to your liking (as with sharpness, black stabilization, etc). 8/10 would recommend to a friend :)

I purchased to replace my primary and aging Asus PB278Q. I use it for web development and use a dark background on my text editor and terminal windows. The color shift is drastic and distracting, the primary focus point looks great, but everything else is extremely washed out. This means your eyes are always adjusting to different black levels while reading on a dark background. The background will appear dark/black in one part of the monitor and then grey/white in another! This is caused by the monitor being made with a VA panel. Ive replaced it with the BenQ PD3200U, which is IPS, and I am extremely happy. As for positives; - Design of the monitor is nice; thin panel and trendy stand - The joystick is great for OSD navigation

This is exactly what I expected it to be based on specs and reviews. Unlike some others, I have no edge light bleed or bad pixels. For the price and type of screen it is, its been excellent. Ive got a $900 32" Dell Ultra Wide Ultra Sharp 2k that is superb, but I still notice the difference in clarity with this one. The Dell lets me spread out lots of pages, but is WIDE. I build computers for a living, and while I own lots of games, I dont think Ive ever finished one...I use them to run benchmarks and test combinations of hardware, predominantly video cards. This is the right size, is crystal clear, bad speakers (but thats not why you want it anyway) and limits your connectivity with 1 input port each for the important cables...but it does it for HALF the price of the IPS screens with lots more hook up ports, USBs, etc. If you can live with that, this is a superb value. Im only going to tell you to compare the specs and read more reviews than usual. The picture quality is excellent, somewhat adjustable (although I really dont like the little joystick/button/whatever you call it thing off the bottom of the screen), and the speakers arent very good. My biggest issue is that I run 2 computers side by side a lot to real-time test comparisons and with 1070s and 1080s I NEED two DisplayPorts in to run 60 FPS @4K consistantly...almost nobody else would, however, and I can DP one and use the HDMI on the other and still get useful data, I just dont like physically switching cables and running one computer at a time to bench a full out build.

Fabulous! I was looking for a 4K monitor for the type of work I do. I work in Revit as an architect and had got a Samsung monitor that was HD but at 2560x1440. It did not cut it at 32", and I had to return it. This LG working at 3840 x 2160 gets the job done. Text is readable and lines come in clearly. Be forwarned Revit users- you have to be working in Revit 2017 or beyond to utilize 4K otherwise your user interface comes in as gobbldeegook. I tried Revit 2016 with this monitor and it would not work because the user interface text would come in squished such that you could not read it without some guessing as to what it was spelling out. All in all the graphics are crisp and if you have a good graphics card there is plenty of adjustable. Im using a NVIDIA GTX 1060 and its working great. I did pay for the extended warranty as I have had LG appliances fail on me (a TV and a dishwasher) so I dont fully trust their quality level.

I searched high and low for a gaming moniter. But since this was my first one like everyone else I researched the hell out of it. I found this particular moniter to be the best value for the money. I have all LG 4K TVs in my home so why not add the gaming moniter. I have an Xbox one X and I play mostly FPS mainly Halo 5. I will play others but halo is my king. The moniter is super smooth, super clear, and doesn’t reflect any light in or around the screen. It’s by far the best investment I could make into my gaming. For comparison for christmas I got my son a Ben q moniter for 150$ and he has a Xbox one s. When he first saw me playing on it he was amazed at how clear it was and smooth as well. His exact word was “ HOW?” So this is by far the best value in gaming as far as moniters go. If you have a 4K gaming system like the Xbox one X do yourself a favor and buy it. Now. Trust me you don’t want to miss out on this jewel of a find.

I have been struggling to color calibrate this monitor with older 22inch LG monitor. I am using Spyder Pro 4. For a while I have been blaming it on Spyder Pro that the colors would be obviously different. Recently I realized that there is a big color shift in this monitor as a function of angle. So there are angles from which the colors look mostly the same while from the normal angles they are not. Color calibration is complicated by the fact that there various display modes (video, photo, custom) that do not the same and have different sets of adjustments. "Custom" does not look as detailed as "Photo" no matter how I adjust the controls. "Photo" on the other hand does not allow for manual RGB color adjustment. Also, when viewing video there is a noticeable delay in video over sound (I use NVidia GTX970 - decent video card). Bottom line: the experience is not smooth at all.

Works extremely well with my Xbox One X. However, it does not have HDR10. Currently, there are very few monitors with 4K, HDR10, and freesync. None are as reasonably priced as this monitor. A+ purchase. Extremely satisfied customer.

Erratic in initialization, difficult to control resolution, requires frequent resetting, sometimes characters just fade so as to be unreadable. No Mac drivers available for current OSX versions, no instructions or support for Mac. Telephone support for MAC uninformed.

Great price on a 4k monitor. 30hz is certainly too low to use this monitor for even word processing. The cursor feels really jumpy. Check your video card before you buy. I knew my current laptop (thats on its way out) would only support 2560x1440 in advance which to be honest is perfect for this screen size. True 4k would make everything too tiny. However the new laptop I bought does 4k at 60hz and is the only machine I have that will work with it at that resolution. So at this price I felt like I was getting something that was future proof as the machines I get catch up with it. And at least my new main laptop will work with it when I have the time to set it up!

I have had 4k TVs and many computer monitors throughout my life time. I bought this because I needed a second 32 inch monitor to my first monitor which is also 32 inch, but not 4k. I saw the amazon warehouse posting for very good for $329 so I decided to buy this. As a programmer and a gamer I recommend this for anyone who wants a good quality 4k screen for its price. Surprisingly it come with internal speakers. Good: - The quality is what you expect it to be, its 4k 32 inch monitor. - The other monitor that I had previous bought 32 inch lg not 4k had a glare, kind of like glass (explaining in easy terms), where as this one doesn’t. - The pixels seem smooth and whenever I adjust the screen size percentage it seems to transition well. - You can adjust the height of the screen with the stand that they provide. - AMD Freesync is amazing, I have a custom built computer and gaming runs really well on it. Bad: - The HDMI cable that was provided with the monitor is a thin band that seems very fragile. - The internal speakers are not bad, but if you expect it to be like a sound bar or computer speakers then this is not for you. - No built in dual monitor mode. The previous LG monitors had this built in, but I never really utilized this feature anyways and there are software that does it for you.
Make sure this fitsby entering your model number. 32 - inch 4K (3840 x 2160) Nano display DCI-P3 98% Color Accuracy VESA DisplayHDR 600 4K Daisy Chain with Thunderbolt 3 connectivity 4-Side virtually borderless display - height, pivot, tilt adjustable 60 hertz
