For the price I really have no complaints but Im still going to complain anyway one thing I dont like about it is the screen doesnt really get bright enough even though I have other monitors with the same brightness level (nits) but it is what it is another thing its an IPS panel but from the side of it does not look like an IPS panel it looks like TN but it is but considering I paid $220 for this definitely worth the price ....

The monitor is awesome when its synced up properly through display port. It has beautiful colors and is super sharp. The games look absolutely gorgeous on this monitor with my ASUS RTX2080 video card. The only problem is the display port has periodical sync issue. When monitor wakes up from sleep, from time to time, the color space is completely off. White color looks very yellow. The only way to fix it is to unplug the DP cable and re-plug it in again. Very annoying when you have to do this multiple times a day. I used the DP cable came in the package, it consistently give me a warning saying I need to use the cable that comes with the monitor, which I am using! Surprised that this happens with one of the best video cards on the market. If you are running into the same problem, the fix is to unplug. Update: it turned out the color space issue is because of the night light setting. Once i turn it off, it no longer has this issue. change it to 5 stars

All the 4k monitors in this price range are basically the same picture-wise to my eyes. Id rate any of them five stars. But the small things I liked about this one are, the stand base is very small (I use this in my office where I have a coworkers desk next to mine, and its a height-adjustable desk, so its nice that this stand does not overlap off my desk at all and risk getting tipped when my neighbor is making height adjustments, unlike one of my other monitors). Also the bezels are small and thin and matte, so it works well in multi-monitor situations. The stand is also height adjustable. All small things, but theres really not a whole lot of differentiation at this price level.

i just wanted a monitor for coding, nothing special. no special requirements for color, or refresh rate. i just need to display text. all the pixels are there. lots of pixels and none of them are dead. but the image is really bizarre, almost milky. unlike my macbook pro, which is *very* clear, the image on the LG 32UD60 is dark when viewed square on, but *lighter* when viewed at an angle. this is the *opposite* of the macbook, which gets darker the higher the angle at which you view any given part of the screen. the result is that on the LG, the image looks washed out and more so towards the edge of the screen, but it looks less so when you move your head so that youre seeing those pixels square on. compared to the mac, the problem is not the size of the screen requiring a large span of viewing angles, but rather something fundamental about how this screen was designed/manufactured. this is the only monitor ive ever bought that was weird. if amazon will accept my return, im going to send it back. what a pain. update: amazon accepted my return and doing so was very easy. i saw the monitor elsewhere and noticed that it generally renders just fine, but doesnt look great with white on black, which is how i spend most of my day. black on white looks fine.

Purchased this monitor for video editing(not color grading). It’s a sharp screen with a great refresh rate. Perfect for editing timelines and culling footage(which is what it was purchased for). But the color accuracy, even after hardware calibration, is just way off compared to my Mac display that is used for color grading.

For disclaimer, Im an Art Director in advertising and Im used to buy monitors and computer parts as well. I wanted to give LG a try for once because this was pretty "cheap".. and after a long run with Dell (still one of the best I think) I wanted to see something else and what a terrible mistake... Now I know that if its too cheap and too good to be true its probably something done by LG..so: dont buy it. Do yourself a favor and dont buy this product. I received this monitor two days ago, everything was working well then boom, the screen just turned black and never came back at all. The sound was still playing but nothing was displayed. Even the menu was gone. I tried a lot of things to fix it and called the customer service as well. But nothing worked. I think overall this monitor is not worth anyway for multiple reasons now that I tried it: -lack of connectivity, theres just two output on this thing which is ridiculous. -the menu controller is just this little joystick thing at the bottom of the screen, its super annoying to use and if you break it (which will happen at some point..) well, I guess youre trapped. -the speakers of the screen are really bad to not say trash, it was really not useful to implement those... so yeah, big deception. save your money

I was a little concerned with using a 4K, only because of the small fonts and stuff. I have not regrets with this monitor, and it has sound which has been extremely useful for conference calls. I actually ended up buying four more for the office, everyone has loved them.

Inexpensive 32inches 4K monitor. No dead pixels, no issues so far. Im using the displayport connection, text is fairly crisp thanks to the lower pixel pitch (could still be better though). Speakers are ok, dont expect hifi sound of course. Height adjustable, some monitors still dont have that feature. Settings adjusted with joystick underneath the frame, works fine, better than buttons, IMO. Build quality..you get what you pay for... frame is cheapily made. But as long as the screen keeps working I dont care too much. 4K content is still fairly rare so havent had a chance to check the 4k perrformance yet, or gaming for that matter. And yes, It runs at 60hz at 4k resolution only, havent notice any flickering though.Overall I would recommend it for general desktop use (cant really comment on the rest).

I have two 27" 4K monitors on my work computer. I run them at 125% scaling because they are too small to see at 100%. I got this one for my home computer. I wanted something that can be usable at 100% scaling. 42" is just too big for my desk. I find this size to be good and usable. I wear reading glasses for computer work so I dont have the best eyesight but this size works well for me. I like LG products and this one seems well built. I like the bezel and the monitor is not heavy. It also has good height adjustment. I use it as an external monitor for my laptop. I put it behind and above my laptop and the height works perfectly.

Decided I needed something for “my work at home” days versus hunching over my small laptop monitor. I wanted screen real estate but didn’t want to sacrifice on text clarity. This monitor delivered both. With my wireless keyboard and mouse, I realized I really didn’t need a docking station either. One hdmi cable for the monitor and 1 for laptop power. Originally I was searching for a usb-c monitor to combine these into 1 cable, but most do not deliver enough power for the laptop needs (or are much more expensive). At the end of the day, this is a nice compromise, providing very good value.
