If you will be using this product as a stand up model on the stand provided then youre good to go. It has awesome color and clarity and has a couple different options for video connection. HOWEVER, if youll be using this model for hanging it on a wall bracket for use of a TV or computer monitor like I am then you need to consider the following. The connections for the power cord is good to go because its small enough that it wont cause trouble while hung up on wall. But the video (VGA) and HDMI location is in a horizontal location and not vertical. meaning that when you attempt to plug in the cord for VGA or HDMI it sticks out so much that you cant hang it on a wall bracket even if you were to crush the wires it still wont go. The design team of this model should have made these connections vertical connections so the cords could be plugged in and hung on the wall. THE SOLUTION: Purchase QVS CC388A-MFD VGA Male-To-Female Adapter for the VGA connection or a Bluwee HDMI Extension Cable High Speed 90-Degree Angle HDMI Male to Female Extension Wire Cord HDMI Extender - Gold Plated Plugs, Black (0.5FT) for the HDMI connection. ONE OF THOSE ITEMS WILL BE NEEDED IF YOU PLAN TO HANG THIS ON THE WALL AS A MONITOR. CHOOSE YOUR CONNECTION TYPE AND USE ONE OF THE TWO OPTIONS I PROVIDED.

Too big for a 1080p resolution. You definitely notice the pixels. We returned for a higher resolution model.

The screen is too glossy for my room. During the day it shows a lot of reflection from windows behind me, even with the shades down. Otherwise its perfect for me. It displays everything a bit larger than my old 24" monitor, which is just what I need as my eyes get older.

This is a beautiful monitor and fit the space perfectly where it was needed. However, I tried connecting it this evening to a brand new HP Envy Desktop via HDMI, it says no signal and the toggle to "menu" screen was grayed out. Called HP, who remoted into the pc and suggested I contact LG. I contacted LG via chat, and after trying several things, to no avail, the person had me try to update the "OnScreen Control" app, which of course, asked me to restart, so I was disconnected from her. Next I called LG and a very kind lady had me give my purchase information and asked me to box it up and she is sending me a label to ship it to them for testing. I will know in ten days if there is a problem or what to do about it. Very disappointed. Not working out of the box.

If I had to do it all over again, I would not buy this monitor. First, it is very flimsy, and by that I mean the stand that it comes with is not sturdy and the monitor tilts forward naturally. There is no way to adjustment the angle. Another frustrating thing is that the VGA port on the monitor did not work. I was forced to buy a display-port cable. Other than that the image quality pretty good.
