This is a fantastic monitor for what I paid ($350), but I have my concerns. The first one I received showed up with a cluster of dead pixels towards the middle of the screen and had one more dead pixel further down. I requested a replacement and was excited at first when the new one arrived, until I saw what appeared to be a stuck pixel/pixels. I tried all the tricks I could find online to remedy it, but still no luck so far. I understand things happen and this is why I didnt want to leave a mediocre review for the first monitor, but 2 pixel issues in a row lead me to believe this is somewhat of a common issue (Or that I am a terribly unlucky individual). That explains why 2 stars were taken off, but lets jump to why it did receive the 3 stars. This monitor is an absolute steal for the price. If you add up the size, the resolution, the refresh rate, the slightly better than TN panel and the Freesync (while also being G-Sync compatible) this is worth more than what I paid for. I am happy to report that all of these features work as expected. Although this isnt verified to work with G-Sync, there are no issues with it and other reviews and YouTubers have confirmed this is the case as well. This allows you to essentially get G-Sync at a fraction of the cost and I can attest after using it that G-Sync is game changing. Overall this is a fantastic monitor for the price and would easily receive 5 stars from me, but the pixel issues with both monitors I received are worrisome .

Just received the monitor and tested at the end of the day. First Im coming from a 24inch 1080p panel so this was a step up. Monitor is large for my 59incj desk and definitely would liked to push the monitor back more so make sure your desk is deep. Pixel density is 93 PPI so its the same as my old monitor just bigger. Great for multiple windows and multitasking. Panel easily hit 144hz, didnt see smearing, colors had punch. Unfortunately I stopped my testing when I noticed a cluster of dead pixels in the right corner. Not noticeable at first because of the location but I couldnt ignore it. Packed it right up. From what I saw its a good panel but just as much of a lottery as buying any monitor. No VA glow, or backlight bleed or any of the things I dreaded when I looked for a ips panel. Im returning it and looking for a smaller 27inch for my desk. Would actually recommend if you want/need more screen real estate, like high refresh rates, and prefer 16:9 over ultrawide.

Needed a good panel for sim-racing when not in VR. Have a 27" 1440 IPS with 350cd/m2 brightness. So Im used to clarity, and brightness punch... What I wanted was the same brightness, but BIGGER and FASTER. This panel really wasnt it... Decent 144hz capability, GREAT construction, good freesync and nvidia gsync compatibility... But the panel is somewhat dim and lifeless. At max brightness, the gamma is way off, the black boost blows out the picture... Overall, after playing with all the settings on a baseline calibration, it just was average picture quality. Returned in new condition, hope someone else likes it.
