I purchased one of these monitors 6 months ago and loved it. I thought I would increase my productivity by ordering another one. When I received my new one it was in a refurbished box, even had missing screws. Luckily I was able to find some around the house that fit but once I plugged it in, the resolution isnt nearly as good as my first one. What a disapointment!

Bought this to have 2 laptops display on one monitor at the same time. Saw it had split screen and PIP (picture in picture) which is all I thought I needed. Apparently you need picture by picture (PBP.) PIP has been around since at least the 80s. Where as long as you had 2 inputs (cable and antenna or gaming console) you could have a main display and sub display and choose volume for either one. I figured it shouldnt be too hard to do the same thing on a monitor in 2019. Split is basically the same thing any monitor can do. It snaps open windows on a device to parts of the screen. Ive been using this feature for quite some time on Windows PCs. This just provides more options but from the same device. If you add another device you have to switch between the inputs on the monitor to see different extended displays from the 2 different devices.

My RX480 defaulted to Full RGB output (HDMI) which is severely overhyped with the default monitor settings. From the Custom picture mode on the monitor, Im using 50 Black Stabilizer and High Black Level, which is as neutral as it gets. Other settings may work well to expand "typical", limited-RGB signals. I dont know why this is not detailed in some sort of manual. Thanks to CRU, Custom Resolution Utility, I was able to make a 2560x1080 @ 75 hz profile that works flawlessly. Also, Idk why this isnt a default option.

I bought this for my mom, because her laptop is 13.3" and she does a lot of business stuff and needed more screen real estate. Ill start with the positives. + Ultrawide: obviously this is the reason why you would get a 21:9 monitor, and this is great for that purpose. I used it briefly with Premier Pro and the long timeline scrubbing is simply beautiful. Not having to scroll to edit very different pieces of the video is really nice. I can have multiple files open with video clips and transitions. I need to get an ultrawide for myself. + Lightweight: its probably not the lightest monitor on the market at this price range, but my mom is 56 years old (Im 23) and has had 2 surgeries on her wrist. She can pick this up with both hands rather easily if she needs to move from one side of her desk to another. + 2 HDMI ports + Matte screen: my moms desk is under a sun roof, and this thing is great at reducing glare and reflection. Now some critiques and negatives, but not all of them are negatives, just some oddities to note: - Biggest actual negative: Glossy finish (of exterior and base/mount) The black glossy finish of the mount and backside is a dust magnet. We only bought this for a week and its already collecting a significant amount of dust. Youre going to be wiping this thing down pretty often. - Not height adjustable: This isnt really a negative as we knew this before buying it. But it does kinda suck. Obviously if you want height adjustable, youre gonna have to spend more. But still. My mom has it on a monitor stand which helps. - *WEIRD THING* In the screen menu when using the little joystick under the screen, there is an option for volume from 0-100 and it is adjustable. You can turn it all the way up or down, but if Im not mistaken, this thing doesnt have any speakers? We have tried numerous times to get any sort of sound out of it, but I am certain there are not speakers. Its odd that there would be a feature in the settings menu to adjust the volume then. - SKINNY LATERAL: 25" ultra wide is really narrow. This is one thing we didnt anticipate before buying. Reading the dimensions on paper and watching video reviews of this monitor on youtube doesnt actually prepare you for how skinny this thing is when you use it. For future reference, I myself would go for at least 29" ultrawide, because while my mom does not have a problem with it, my dad and I both notice that the vertical space you have on this is really small. It is plenty wide, but just feels cramped in the y axis. You really cant understand what I mean by this until you try it out for yourself. Overall, if you just want a decent ultrawide in 1080p and dont have a budget of $250+, this is a great introductory monitor to the ultrawide field. Cant say any comments on how it is for gaming, but for productivity and some media consumption, this is awesome. 4/5

i purchased this monitor specifically for the 99% srgb colorspace because my last two monitors had been terribly skewed to a color or had bad contrast, or would just occasionally turn pink until i restarted my computer. the display is beautiful and the colors and values are accurate. i also never use speakers, so it was fine that this monitor didnt have any. and i finally feel like a real gamer now that i have that 21:9 aspect ratio. i had to download a few mods to play skyrim correctly but thats okay. i like that the stand has a flat base that i can put stuff on, too.

Pros: Easy to setup. Good Display, good resolution, works well with games I have tried (and the ultra-wide has made working on bills easier) Cons I dislike that the transformer is included in the plug, really hard to place in a power strip next to other items. Would have preferred a more standard transformer with a separate power cord that is better for plugging into power strips. N/A Not enough time to test for longevity Havent used all the features (I guess the on-screen modifying is for dual inputs? Havent tested fully) I kept at 4 stars because for the price its tough to beat in terms of ultra-wide monitors.

Be warned, this monitor is very narrow. If youre not already OK with a 10-12 inch 16:9 display, this might take some getting used to. If you want ultrawide, but dont want to give up on the height, then look into one of 27inch+ models. That said, coming from a smaller height display, I love this monitor. As a form factor I dont think Im ever going to go back to 16:9. As for this product, the colors are sharp out of the box and the screen is crisp. What its not, however, is a 144hz/1ms delay "gamer" monitor. If youre primary focus is reaching for that every last second in response time, this might not be for you. That said, I use it 10-15ish hours a week for gaming and it does everything I ask of it. Id imagine itd be a dream for MMOs as well, allowing extra space for HUD elements.

This is a really really good deal. I wanted an ultrawide for gaming at the cheapest price possible and this fit the bill perfectly. For under $200 you get an 25" LG IPS display, sleek minimalist design and I was able to get it running at 75hz. 2 negatives with this monitor - No internal speakers, and you cant adjust the screen. I plan on putting this monitor on an arm that allows me to adjust it wherever I want it.

Its great, I got it to help drafting in Revit (3d modeling) and having the ultra wide screen is prefect. It reducing the percentage of screen space taken up by the "ribbon" and control panel so the drafting views dont feel cramped. Im debating getting a second one. When doing tasks other then revit its also really nice because its so wide its like have two monitors and can easily accommodate two app windows next to each other. My only wish is that the refresh rate was higher then 60hz.

For anyone thats thinking of this. I recommend you buy it. Its a great monitor for the price. 9nly down side is the glossy black finish, its looks dirty after awhile. And a lot of people say that 25 inches is small for an ultrawide, but its still a decent size, especially if your close to the monitor. Especially recommended if your starting video editing, programming, ECT. The mate screen cuts out glares, the colors are bright and vibrant, great blacks. Honestly one of my best purchases so far
