Bought this monitor in January 2018 to use with my 2015 MacBook Pro. I was very impressed with the picture. Im no gamer but for my purposes, the QHD looks great. Very crisp and the colors are as good as I could want. Unfortunately, about 9 or 10 months into owning this monitor I began to experience intermittent issues where the screen would completely black out. The monitors "on" light was still lit and the issue did not change by wiggling or changing the HDMI cable. At first, this issue was very infrequent and only lasted a second or two at a time and would then resolve for days or weeks. Unfortunately, it has worsened to the point where now the screen is blacking out every few minutes every time I use the monitor. I dont think there is an issue with my laptop because I have tried attaching it to an HP monitor and my TV both by HDMI and both without issue. Interestingly, I have also attached my old Xbox 360 to this monitor and did not experience any blackouts. This leads me to believe that the monitor does not interface with my OS appropriately. Of course the monitor didnt progress to the point where it was unusable until after the warranty ran out so when I contacted Lenovo customer support all they could suggest was that I install driver updates from their website. I tried this using my computer and the install files wouldnt run so then I tried this using a borrowed PC and the link to update the driver on their website only downloaded a "read me" file. Completely worthless. Now I am at the point where I think it is time to scrap the thing and caution those who may be considering making this purchase as an addition to an apple computer. The one star for the picture category is not because the picture quality was poor, but rather because all too often the monitor goes black and I get no picture whatsoever. TL;DR: Good monitor but there are compatibility issues with mac.
