Bought this HP Pavilion 32 QHD to create dual monitor setup with an older BenQ BL3200 QHD. The size of the bezel was a perfect match, but the blacks on the HP are very bad...really only a dark grey. Also, the color saturation is poor when compared to the 4 year old BenQ. The stand does not adjust for height and the monitor wobbles side to side because the connection of stand to monitor is not very sturdy. I really wanted to like this monitor, but for $350 I just cant recommend it. I am now ordering a used BL3200 from a seller that has 8 for sale and will see how that works out.

Great price point for the specifications. Primary use is for home and work. I love the screen width and ability to split documents on a single screen. Unfortunately the unit malfunctioned after only four months. Power to the unit - no display when connecting to any computer. While the specs and competitive price made this highly desirable, HPs poor customer service and unwillingness to replace with new or refund made it an easy decision to redirect my choice to a competitor.

Pretty good monitor. However, I believe I would have enjoyed a 21:9 aspect ratio much more for something this size. Aesthetically, its very clean. All my friends comment on how large it is when they come over. Can watch movies on it while Im sitting in bed about 8 feet away. The colors arent super vibrant but the refresh rate seems pretty good. I use a single HDMI connection to my laptop which gives full resolution (make sure your computer supports 2560x1440 with HDMI). The added USB slots on the back would be convenient if you are connecting it to a desktop but not so much for a laptop since it adds another thing you have to connect your laptop to.

Absolutely beautiful monitor. The colors were spot on right out of the box and it is a good looking monitor. But be aware that you need to make sure that your video card can support the resolution this monitor requires. I had a 5-yr. old video card that wouldn’t support the monitor and had to replace it with a new card that wasnt cheap. Then I found out that my motherboard wouldnt support the new video card and had to purchase a new motherboard. So, make sure the video card and motherboard are applicable for the monitor. I needed to update my computer anyway so the monitor gave me a good excuse to upgrade my desktop computer.

I have had this monitor since December of 2016. Used for web, email, Office applications, GIS, and coding. Am about to buy another to replace a dying 24" HP. Would recommend to anyone. Strikes the right balance between price/quality. Have had absolutely no problems. Use in a dual-monitor setup. Would not hesitate to use for gaming (online FPS).

Pros: A fine monitor--I love the large display. It allows me to have multiple files open without needing to switch back and forth. Or, I can blow up a design to an incredible degree for fine tweaking. I am/was a graphic designer and detail means everything. Cons: Set up instructions were not crystal clear and I needed to purchase a different cable to gain full access to the maximum screen definition. I work on an Apple Mini.

Working at my PC all day every day. Started my own business as a senior and it is successful, but my eyes are not what they once were. This is an absolutely wonderful monitor for people needing some eyestrain relief. I dont know how I lived without it. And it is plug and play for Windows 10, no challenge at all to set up. Highly recommend.

Needs to be used with a Display port cable to get to the 70hz refresh rate. To free sync having an awkward range please may sure use a good graphic to get the best out of this monitor. Using a XFX R9-390x clocked at 1200MHZ. For new users it works well with RX-480 since this can keep the free sync range better. SHOULD NOT USE WITH RX-470. This is 1440p monitor the best cards form AMD is needed. IT is great screen for the price.

Long story short, If you are looking for qhd monitor, then just get this one. It is a great monitor for multipurpose. It has a really nice color range(but not as good as IPS displays). And a great black color reproduction(light bleed is substantially less than IPS). Also 32" is little big for some people, but it is actually really comfortable size for qhd monitor. Your eyes will not get tired easily compared to 27" qhd monitors. Finally this monitor has a real metal stand that has a hefty weight in to it. It really feels substantial if you look at one of those cheap plastic light weight stand. You are not gonna regret it!

Just 2 months after the warranty expired, I turned it on one day to find this picture. It looks incriminating, like I hit it with a sharp object, except I know didnt. Something like this has never happened with any of my dozen or so flat screen monitors Ive owned throughout the years. I was frankly puzzled. Im frankly deeply disappointed to have lost so much money on a literally brand new monitor that I could have used for many years to come. Youve been warned.
