Ive had my monitor battle station set up for 1 month and couldnt be happier. I purchased 4x Dell Professional P2717H 27" monitors on Dec. 20th 2017. Im NOT a gamer I use this set up for productivity purposes (Charts, L2, T&S, News Feeds, Spread Sheets, Web Development ect). For what I do the screen quality/clarity is perfect. I have zero lag and everything works seamlessly. This is mostly due to my build and graphic cards, which is a different story for another time. The DP wires Dell gives with the monitors are good but if youre looking for better quality go for a 4k DP/HDMI cord & adapters. I have the monitors set up side by side in portrait mode and its awesome. Also Duel Monitor Desk Mounts are compatible. I dont have them pictured but I have them for later after I move offices. Fell free to ask questions but know Im not a techy and any detailed specs is best to visit dell. This is a 4x 27" set up for just over $900 price.

Love my new monitor. You can buy cheaper monitors but then you have a cheap monitor. I spend a lot of time at a computer and do page layout. So I wanted to make sure I had something I wouldnt mind staring at for many hours at a time. This monitor moves up and down w ease AND flips to the vertical if thats how I want to use it. Love it!!

I ordered two of these excellent monitors and am very pleased with them. They elevate and rotate easily. As a writer, I especially appreciate the portrait mode, which allows me to see entire pages even with the font size set moderately large. Then bezels and clean design are great. The packaging was some of the best Ive seen. The monitors were well protected during shipment. To put my praise in perspective, these two Dell monitors replaced three superb but older Sony monitors that were still doing a great job. But, the Sony monitors dont elevate or rotate and the Dell monitors do.

I needed a vertical monitor for work and there arent many choices short of ordering your own stand. This monitor surprised me in the price and picture clarity. Really a great product at a great price.

Weve purchased monitors from Dell for years and been spending way too much. Here, you get the same monitor and save $50-$80. I assume the greatest difference is the warranty. But Ive purchased hundreds of monitors for various companies for more than 15 years and have had only a handful need to be warrantied. Now I dont work for a major like Exxon or NOV, so my sample size is small comparatively speaking, but still... From where I sit, the cost savings offsets any failure rate Ive ever experienced, so Ill continue to purchase these through Amazon. I used to buy only the Ultrasharp line from Dell, but the Pro has come a long way. Most of my folks are in brightly lit common areas or offices, working on spreadsheets, word docs, internet based apps, and AutoCAD. The Pro line works great for all these activities. The Ultrasharp claim to fame is how its screen goes all the way to the edge, as in no bezel around the outside, and its thinness and light weight. Those things mean nothing in an office with permanent desks and cubicle spaces. The only drawback Ive seen is the lack of DVI connection (the white cable, typically). That affects older PCs and the Dell Latitude port replicator (docking station), which typically has one DVI, one VGA, and one DP. It can be a major pain when all users have two monitors, but Ive made due with adapters that convert the DVI to DP. Although all the small form factor PCs Ive purchases recently have two DP ports, so they arent affected at all.

Came with three video cables. I did have to buy another cable but that is because I have an older MacBook Air with Thunderbolt/Mini Display Port. Packaged to survive nuclear attack. Perfect product, worked immediately when connected. Adjustments for viewing are exceptional. I had a 19" display and the only bothersome experience was getting used to the massive wide screen. I often work with USGS maps and the ability to expand the view - sometimes over 200% - on those is spectacular. Minor details were often difficult to see on old monitor. Option to rotate and use in Portrait Mode is a real plus. SIMPLY FYI BUT IMPORTANT: I dont remember the advert saying that it required signature on delivery. Thats fine with me. Just be prepared.

I was very pleased with this monitor when I first set it up. I bought it specifically to use in Portrait mode with my MacBook Pro laptop and another external monitor. It was easy to set up and worked very well for about a week. After a week, the monitor went very, very dim. The monitor was recognized by the computer and I could just make out that there was screen display but it was an incredibly faint "ghost" image that you could only make out at certain angles. I tried swapping all cables, etc. but nothing resolved the issue. After reading online, I tried unplugging the video input and just turning the monitor on to see if I could get the initial configuration screen to show but the monitor still had nothing visible on screen. When this was the case, online threads on Dells support forums always recommended returning the monitor. Its possible that it was simply a dud. Based on my very favorable first impression, I have ordered a replacement and applied to Amazon for a refund of the original purchase. I will update this thread and the review with the results of the refund request and the setup of the new monitor when it arrives. So far my experience is pretty poor but I am optimistic that the new unit will solve the issues. UPDATE - The replacement monitor I ordered arrived in a time fashion and setup proceeded without any difficulties. The second monitor was noticeably brighter than the first monitor right out of the box. I have had the monitor a week and it is working flawlessly. I am even more pleased with the quality of this monitor than the first and I liked the first quite a bit until it ceased working. I have no problem giving this new monitor a 5 star rating. My refund was handled promptly and without any difficulties or questions. I have updated my recommendation from a 2 to a 5. I considered taking off a star for the hassle factor but decided that prompt customer service, a no questions refund, and an excellent working replacement warranted a 5 star rating and recognition that they customer service system promptly met all my needs and I ended up with the product I hoped for.

WOW! Love this monitor. I ordered one for work and was so impressed that I ordered one for my personal use at home. I am a photographer and wanted to have 2 monitors to watch video tutorials while practicing on the 2nd monitor. This solved the problem and didnt take up as much space! Colors are true. Couldnt be happier with my purchase.

I bought two of these. For the work I do, I needed a double monitor set-up. One in landscape (horizontal) position and the other in portrait (vertical) position. It took me awhile to find monitors for this configuration, and Im glad I got these Dell monitors. The inputs are perfect, too. The laptop I use with these monitors has a VGA port and a DP port. Many of the other monitors I looked at would have required adapters. But these monitors have both types of ports I needed, plus HDMI, so I was able to plug one into each port of my laptop. The monitors came with the cords I needed, so I didnt have to buy anything else. The price was pretty good, too. Ive been using these for about 2 months now, and I have zero complaints.
