Let me say I work in IT and stare at monitors every day and I have been reading reviews for a week on new 24-27 inch Dell monitors. My screen was a little blurry and different parts of the screen had slighly different contrasts. Task bar at the bottom was light but the corners got really dark. Adjusting the settings didnt really help much. The colors just werent sharp at all. The buttons are noisy and It makes me think Im working with an old CRT monitor. I got my refund for this one and sending it back. I bought this instead and it works just fine. Premium High Performance Dell 27" Full HD IPS LED-Backlit Im just doing school work and work in photoshop from time to time and dont need anything over the top.

Install Flash Player The monitor seemed nice and well until about 3 hours into using it, the entire left half of my screen was covered with rainbow vertical lines. Crazy how a brand new product can be broken. Also as well I spoke to Dell support team and they offered a replacement monitor that is refurbished instead of brand new?!? It wasnt my computer either, if watching the video I unplug the Displayport Cable in my computer and the black screen proceeded to have the lines. After contacting Amazon for the second time, they offered a replacement, but extremely unhappy I waited some time for a broken product. Especially after setting up the entire monitor.

Great price!!! But the fun stops there. Colors are washed out and there is significant screen tearing compared to other monitors with similar specs.

I got one of these, and while it was a nice build... It wasnt a nice picture. Out of the box the colors were so washed out I could hardly read any text without discomfort. I tried to make multiple adjustments, and short of making the screen super dark, there was no comfortable settings I could find. I reset it to factory settings and returned it. Also, I would like to note the built-in speakers were simply awful. Though I never planned to use them, they were merely like listening to an AM radio in stereo.

For the price, on paper at least, this is an amazing value for a well know name brand monitor with the gaming features I was looking for. Since I was in the market I figured why not take a chance. I couldnt find another 27" that was a TN flat screen without thick bezels, 144hz, Freesync and 400nits brightness for less than $180. I knew the stand would be lacking (which it is) and not have good speakers (which it does not but who cares). So on to the pros, cons and why I decided to return it. Pros: - -PRICE! -Top and sides of the screen are frameless -Matte Screen -144hz -Freesync -Flat TN panel (I prefer TN for response time and low motion blur) Cons- -Very washed out and inaccurate colors even for TN -Limited U/I -Terrible viewing angle even for TN -Lower bezel sticks out too far to create a seamless triple monitor setup The reason I sent it back- I was really looking to put together an inexpensive triple monitor setup. But unfortunately the lower bezel protrudes outward so far that when you place another monitor right next to it, the lower bezels touch before the two sides of the monitors do. Meaning you will have a gap between each screen. They cannot be seamlessly places next to one another. And on top of that design flaw, the viewing angle is so bad that color shift would definitely be a problem. Its probably okay for someone that wants a single cheap monitor with gaming features but NOT for multi-monitor setups and if you value color accuracy, look elsewhere. Final Thoughts- Like I originally said, I really wanted to make this work. The fat lower bezel was a deal breaker for me. Its so hard to tell from the stock pictures and I didnt see anyone talking about in other reviews. Aside from that, the colors are way off even after calibration. The blues, looks purple no matter what I do. I mean its really bad and should have taken picture and posted it with this review before I sent it back. Still not a bad value I guess but for just $20-$30 more you have a lot more options.

At first, I was worried that these monitors had some contrast/gamma issues since my jet black desktop background image appeared to be greyish, even after trying to play with settings and calibration. However, once I changed my screen refresh rate to 144 Hz, the blacks on this Dell monitor matched up to my existing Samsungs, and I am a happy camper. To do this on Windows 10: 1. Right-click on your desktop 2. Click "Display Settings" 3. Scroll down and click on "Advanced display settings" 4. Click on "Display adapter properties for Display #" for your Dell D2719HGF monitor. 5. Click on the Monitor tab, and set look for the dropdown menu "Screen refresh rate" 6. Select 144 Hz, and see if that improves your image/colors. (Optional) 7. If youre still not satisfied, try some calibration; type "Color Calibration" in your Cortana/Windows Searchbar.

Pros - 400 nits really make it bright and visible. - I liked the USB ports so i can connect my wireless mouse and keyboard to the monitor and not the laptop. - 144 Hz is really hard to fin on this monitor price range. - Up to date HDMI and display ports. Cons - The buttons sounds so loud. - The menu for settings is too basic. They could add a more friendly graphical user interface. - They could do better with the contrast ratio so it could reproduce better dark colors. VEREDICT: This is a nice monitor If you dont mind not getting the best of dark scenes and want to get good feautures at a decent price. Personally i have a Nintendo Switch which games are colorful and i like to play it with his monitor. Compared with my laptop 4k IPS display. Dark wallpapers looks better on laptop but colorful ones i prefer the monitor.

i bought these monitors about a month or so ago and they still seem pretty OK the color is not to bad when i first got them it was a little washed out but was able to kinda fixthat with color adjustment have noticed tho these monitors have so tearing and ghosting occasionally and i do not think the ones i got 144hz its more like 75hz or maybe even 60hz still a pretty good monitor for the price tho

First off this monitor arrived late. The shipping portion of this experience was terrible. Its shipped by Amazon and you cant get updates of where your package is at. They did send me a notification that it was late but you cant track it like a normal carrier. I also tried to call them but that really did not help either.. all they could tell me was that it was late and did not arrive. When I did get it in I was able to get it set up so it looks ok but nothing spectacular. I also bought a wall bracket so I could install it next to my 27" Ben Q. I went through the DP so I could try out the new free sync on NVIDIA GPUs. (10 or 20 series) This did work and it worked well in games. With the Free Sync it does have a strange bug that can cause the monitor to actually give an Out of Range Error. If you turn the monitor off and then on it works fine. I would think this is just an issue with Free Sync being a new feature for NVIDIA and it might get fixed with a future update. This only happens with the DP Cable. Problem is that HDMI is not supported for the Free Sync with NVIDIA GPUs so for the time being Im stuck with the error. My complaint is the day after I received the monitor I was looking on Amazon and the monitor went on sale. So I figured that I would just contact Amazon and get the refund for the difference. I learned they are not like a normal retailer and will not offer the the difference if a product goes on sale even if it goes on sale the day you get it. You can return the item but then you have to pay shipping which really makes it not worth it. Of course the monitor was on sale down the street at Office Max for the same discounted price. My opinion here if your reading this and plan to try this monitor out is to go to Office Max and pick it up.. if its still on sale that is and if you dont like it just return it. Make sure you check with them about their returns but Ive never had a problem with them. So all in all its a good monitor. Its not the best out there and dont expect it to be but with some tweaking you can make it passable. The 144hz is nice as well but I have to admit that my BenQ which is HDMI running at a lower hertz runs much better and has a clearer picture in gaming. Watching videos they both seem about the same.

I truly believe this is the best it gets for a semi-budget 1080p gaming monitor. The only issue I seem to be having is when i go into the display settings, it tells me that its a 60hz not 144hz Panel. I have yet to experienced any artifacting at frames above 60 or higher and am beginning to think it is just a bug of some sort on windows part. Other than that the monitor has been working great and I am very happy with my purchase.
