Install Flash Player This monitor has terrible quality control nowadays. I have received four of these from amazon two BenQ Zowie rl2455s two BenQ Zowie RL2455T and all four had the same problem inverse ghosting. Inverse ghosting is when the overdrive in the monitor is working too aggressively causing image overshoot. The ama in this monitor is its overdrive feature causing this effect. Now you can turn ama off but that will result in regular ghosting. Let me also tell you that I also have the older model of this monitor the RL2455HM that I gave to my little cousin and to this day works flawlessly in every way. It has no inverse ghosting the ama is working perfectly. I have seen reviews stating the hm having inverse ghosting but I also have a close friend who still uses his hm that also works flawlessly to this day. My brother also has the Benq Zowie RL2755 that works flawlessly to this day. All the ones I mentioned that still work great we’re ordered back in 2016. So I know I have received four defective units which is extremely unlucky. So just know when you order this monitor you could get a good one or four bad ones like me. Amazons customer service has been great though. No issues with the returns what so ever. I’ll tell you my experience with amazon customer service. RL2455s full refund no issue. RL2455T replacement no issue. Second RL2455T full refund no issue. Second RL2455s full refund no issue. In that order I just couldn’t believe I would get four bad ones it’s shameful and really annoying. Also this is my first review on amazon ever. I’m just so annoyed with this that I had to share my experience so the potential buyer knows what he or she could be getting themselves into. I’ll also share a video where you can see the inverse ghosting a little bit but through the video you can’t tell how bad it is in person. It’s horrible resulting in the display being unplayable.

My son used an older Dell monitor for years, but he had a few bad pixels, and he wanted a new monitor so that he could have two - one for leaving at the house, and a second one for taking out to gaming events with friends. Initially I had gotten him another monitor that had issues with ghosting (or something or other along those lines) so I sent it back, did some more research, and got this one. He has been absolutely thrilled with it from a performance perspective. His only complaint is that unlike his other monitor, it doesnt break down or pack up very easily, but since he has his other backup monitor for that purpose, its a non-issue for him.

Works great for Super Smash Bros. Ultimate. I immediately noticed the difference in input lag compared to my Samsung TV. Feels like an arcade screen by comparison. For the price, Im completely satisfied. One of the best purchases Ive made all year for gaming, big improvement. I recommend this monitor for Nintendo Switch and Smash Ultimate. The internal speakers are a great feature, sound adequate and get plenty loud. I use them and havent felt the need to buy external speakers. I think the monitor could be improved it there were dedicated volume control buttons. You cant really adjust the volume quickly while playing online because it takes so much time. Unless Im missing something, to change the volume of the internal speakers, you need to click through the picture adjustment menu using the unlabeled buttons on the side of the monitor. The menu graphic overlays on part of the screen and Volume Control is not the top option. Either way, this is an excellent product for the money.

5 stars because I only paid $150 and I think its worth it. I play FPS games mostly and the monitor performs well. Zero lag for sure. Idk who these whiny people are that are complaining about the color. Its good enough. If you want a $200 panel to perform like a $400 panel, thats your problem. Im a console peasant with a $150 monitor, so if youre looking for the best monitor ever, Im sure its more expensive than this. And if youre wondering whether 24" is big enough, it is. Its actually better to have a smaller screen while playing shooters competitively. Less real estate to keep track of.

My son asked for a gaming monitor for Christmas. He plays COD competitively and he was struggling with the lag on his regular TV. Unfortunately I couldnt afford the super expensive monitors, but after research I found this one. Its amazing. He said he noticed a difference immediately and that the picture and refresh rate has helped him considerably. Would definitely recommend this monitor.

Great screen. Wish it were easier to mute the volume. I’ve noticed the difference in lag from my 55” LED to this and I’ll never game competitively on a TV again. Even for more story driven games, I enjoy playing on this. Works as advertised. Would recommend for sure.

If you’re looking to game on console then this is the BEST monitor hands down to get. Setup was super easy and the different modes are easily accessed so you can switch on the fly to whatever style you’re playing at. The height adjustable stand is the final touch to a great piece. 5 out of 5 without a question. Benq makes quality and that’s what you’re getting when you purchase this monitor

As awkward as it was walking out of the post office with a huge box labeled "for console esports," thats exactly what this monitor is perfect for. If you compete in fighting games, youre probably looking for low latency, not 4K resolution or an insane refresh rate. Unfortunately, most modern-day monitors that achieve impressive latency also come with impressive resolutions, 144 Hz refresh rates that wont make much of a difference when your PS4 is outputting at 60, and prohibitive price tag that matches those impressive features. This thing wont let you show off your new optimized gaming desktop build, sure, but it WILL let you run a fighting game tournament where you can call BS on anybody claiming the setup was laggy. Plus it has built in speakers for your traveling setup needs. The sound quality on said speakers isnt the greatest, but if youre gaming at home you should have regular speakers or headphones to plug in anyway.

I didnt buy this monitor because I thought it would sound *great*, but I did buy it in part because it has built-in speakers that I thought I could use. The sound from the tiny speakers in my laptop is acceptable for example, so BenQ should be able to get passable audio out of this monitor. However, the sound quality is SHOCKINGLY bad - tinny and distorted. So much so, that I will be forced to use external speakers or headphones. Its really that bad - terrible.
