BenQ Monitor GW2760HL 27 inch 1080p VA Monitor | Optimized for Home Office with Low Blue Light technology

Assembly was quick and easy; plug and play, didnt have to load anything and my system is 7 years old. May have to play with the settings but the screen is washed out..looks like a light whitish haze ; not super sharp. Tried adjusting the settings but there was no real level of improvement; reset to factory settings for now; many settings available. Cables are short, only about 4 feet, which forced me to have to re-arrange my placement to get the cables to comfortably fit. Monitor would not read the HDMI connection despite the cable being brand new and I placed it three times making sure cable was inserted properly; kept giving me a "no cable connected" error. Only way to get it to hook up was to use the serial cable; again, also short for my setup..monitor isnt in optimum position on desk due to cable length.

I am writing this review 10 minutes after I plugged it in. Super clear text on the screen, and super white, so I am super satisfied! I didnt have my HDMI cable yet, so I used a D-Sub (VGA) connector. I turned on the computer and Bingo! It was right there right away. No fiddling with controls or drivers. I thought my old monitor was clear and sharp, but this one has it beat by a landslide. Just glad I resisted the temptation to buy a $300 Dell Ultra Clear since I have been having age related vision problems. I even bought new computer glasses. This BenQ monitor has solved my computer related vision problems at a very reasonable cost. I dont know if operating with an HDMI will improve the screen, as it is already superb for text and pictures. Im glad I opted for the 27" screen as it sure makes a visual difference.

Decided to move up to a larger monitor as my eyes seem to be shrinking with age. Very nice monitor, all displayed seems sharp enough and text is easily read. Price was very good. Unit was easy to set up. Kinda weird getting used to the location of the power button, as one previous reviewer said. Unless youre an avid gamer this monitor should do you good. Dont worry about all the tech-talk.

I am extremely happy with this budget monitor. Its huge and bright with a very small border. Im a casual gamer and this is perfect for me. Ive had this monitor for about a month and so far, no regrets. Things Ive noticed: You can not adjust the height, only tilt. Youll need one of those brackets that connect on the rear of the monitor and clamps to the desk for that. I have a flimsy desk so whenever I bump the desk the monitor does wobble a tiny bit on its stand at the tilt joint and makes a faint clicking noise that can be heard when the room is silent. These are just tiny things to me. However, I like how fast the screen turns on after its been off (<5 seconds). Other monitors Ive used take way longer. Picture is great, no ghosting, no complaints.

Ordered it Saturday afternoon and it was here Monday before noon. Nice quality box, heavy duty made to ship in and keep the monitor safe from damage. Very light weight compared to our older 2010 HP monitors. I had seen a lot of gamers using Benq brand and the reviews were 4.5 with over 900 reviews so I went for it. It has a super sharp pix and lots of adjustments, was super bright but I changed to red setting also the adjustments are very easy to use. We got the extra Square Trade 3 yr plan too as we have had so many electronics go out from our local electric company doing surges from that SM they installed.

I use 3x these for my work set up, and my eyes never feel tired. They are big and color/brightness/image quality is the best Ive seen in 1080p monitors. I rarely play games, so cant really attest to that, but Im sure they would be very competitive with other 1080p monitors. I paired them with the Rosewill VESA mounts

I have only used it for few days, but the image quality is wonderful. Graphic design and photo editing are lovely on this monitor and I have not noticed any blurring or lagging while playing RPGs. All around I am VERY happy with it!

The value of this monitor is great! Very easy to setup, it was plug and go! I use it for work and streaming and it performs amazingly! Changing the settings on the monitor was simple to figure out and the interface was easy to get used to. You cant raise it up higher or lower. It tilts up or down but not left to right. But it doesnt bother me. If you plan to mount it to a monitor arm, you can mount it to any standard mounting bracket. Which is great!

Frankly, I feel cheated. The monitors video quality is as expected, and I would say it even offers calibration settings comparable monitors lack at this price range. BUT, why was I charged for having built-in speakers when they are virtually unusable? I could have bought a CHEAPER monitor without speakers since this monitors sound is beyond terrible. It sounds exactly as if you plug in tiny earbuds and then raise the volume all the way; thats both the quality and the maximum loudness you can expect, which is nothing but a JOKE. The should be ashamed to advertise the built-in speakers as a selling point, because all they can expect their customers to say is how disappointing this monitors sound is.

Excellent my friend. This monitor is cheap for the brand and all but I use the built-in speakers and the HDMI port a lot so this helps me out. I wish there was more HDMI ports but oh well, glad that I got it though
