BenQ GL2706PQ 27 inch 1440p Gaming Monitor | 1 ms (GtG) response time

I researched the heck out of a monitor for my home office and didnt want to spend $500. this seemed to have the best reviews and features for the money - and I was right. Very nice looking monitor thats exactly the right size for my desk and telescopes up just high enough for my neck. The picture quality is one tic less than perfect (its not a retina display) but Ive used it for hours on end with no eye strain or difficulty at all. Sound quality isnt great but thats definitely not why I bought the monitor and has no impact on my experience or rating. Overall highly recommend this.

I have this monitor set up with a launch PS4. The picture quality is extremely crisp and I haven’t seen any dead cells or pixels. The height adjustment and swivel are a pretty nice bonus as well. The sound quality is utter garbage. I knew this before purchasing and I planned on using a headset any time I was using this monitor anyway, so the sound didn’t really bother me, but it’s something to keep in mind.

This Benq monitor is great, especially for the price. I have bought several more expensive monitors that didnt have the features nor the picture quality of this monitor. I run my computer with side-by-side monitors, this Benq and a ViewSonic, and the colors on the Benq put the ViewSonic to shame. The 1ms response time is fantastic. Great for gaming and digital video editing.

Reviewed Item: BenQ GW2270 21.5" 1080p LED Monitor, Ive had three of these for a couple months and theyre great monitors. Perfect out of box. I use them for work as a web developer and designer so gaze at them about 8 hours a day and am very happy with the quality, appearance and price.

Nice. Bright. Good value for 27 inch 1440p. Height adjustable to an extent (still wanted an aluminum tray underneath in my setup and have the height all the way to the top). Needed to set 150% text size to see text with the small pixels (which is expected). Connected with HDMI and am using the sound through the integrated speakers. Speakers are fine for internet browsing, gaming.

Monitor display is extremely good for 2K quality. However the plastic and other parts of the base shows the cheap materials used. But overall nobody will pay attention to the aesthetics of the base. So I’m completely OK.

This is a review of the GL2706PQ. 27 inch 1440p TN. The TN panel (in my opinion) is a solid choice. I purchased it because the pictures showed it having a smaller bezel than the IPS and it matches the 144Hz TN panel I already have.
