The picture on this monitor is amazing right out of the box. It also has a lot more features than the lower end benq monitor I had. The one I enjoy the most is the PIP mode where you can view and control two systems at once on one screen. Im using this for PC and PS4 but be warned if you want this monitor mainly for PS4 pro. HDR doesnt function well on it in general for most games. I would recommend turning auto HDR off and change the resolution to the highest possible. The picture still looks great that way.

I’ve only been using it for a few days, but so far I am loving the EX3501R monitor. I wanted a second screen for my iMac Pro (both MacOS and Win10 via bootcamp), and everywhere I looked, this screen got great reviews. Even with that, I’m always hesitant with such a big purchase, but it definitely delivered. I’m using it primarily for gaming, and wow, Fortnite looks great on it. Fired up some movies too, and it fills the screen beautifully. I’m planning to use it for some other games and productivity too, but right now I’m just enjoying it. It comes with a number of cables, but I did opt for a separate DP to USB-C cable. No problems recognizing it on both Mac and Windows at full resolution / 100hz. No dead pixels. There are a number of options for screen customization. I’m not crazy about the OSD menu navigation, but I don’t plan on using the menus much once I get it configured to my liking. Overall, I am very happy with this purchase. Thanks BenQ!

I use this monitor for gaming and watching videos, sometimes movies. Gaming: pros -HDR is really, really pretty -curved screen is nice -wide screen lets you see farther to the side than regular aspect ratios -with HDR never enable bloom again, that sun will give real bloom against that shadow of a building right in front of it cons -with HDR, many games use light/dark values that make some textures look bad -with HDR, you literally cant see whats in some shadows where you are supposed to be able to see -many games do not support wide screen well. Not the monitors fault, but something to be aware of -some games method of dilating the side of the screen (think high fov scaling) does not work well with the curved screen -most games HUDs are not designed with wide-screens in mind -that 4ms response time does add up with any other response time issues you may have Movies really look good with HDR, and the wide screen is fine with normal aspect ratio videos as the blackened sides are black as black gets, you can really forget about it more than non-HDR screens. Product claims to have "eye fatigue protection", if it does, it isnt effective at all. First day i switched to this screen my eyes hurt after a few hours of use. Lowest brightness setting is ok at night but still kinda bright, highest brightness setting will have you squinting mid-day with your monitor in front of a window.

After much research I settled upon these to hopefully be a bit future proof and has the specs I am looking for. Bought three for a large triple monitor set up. Looks pretty cool. They look like quality, have a great picture and I am pleased.

I bought this monitor because of its price, and the fact that it is a 32in screen. I like having the screen real estate and wanted to give this lower resolution monitor a try. If you are used to seeing sharp crisp text from either a laptop or monitor this will disappoint. I have a 32in 4K at work, and a 27in 4K downstairs and its a night and day difference in terms of how sharp text is. On this monitor it looked very fuzzy. So if you are a developer, writer, or someone that cares about text being sharp look elsewhere. If the only thing you plan on using this monitor for is gaming then that might be fine. Other than that the colors and design of the monitor are really nice. If BenQ made a version of this monitor with 4K I would buy it.

Good - excellent brightness, good graphic for gaming, smooth compatibility with Gsync, can be boosted to 3840x2160 60hz. color settings are just perfect. Bad - light bleed along side of edges. not really noticeable, but there are. Im returning crappy Acer 32" curved and keeping this. finally I can stop searching for better color settings and trouble shoot.

Im an engineer - so I work on Mac, Linux and PCs, IoT devices, I also code on multiple platforms. I needed a monitor that worked on all platforms equally well and didnt have a display problem on any of them (typically what you see is screen resolution size or font issues). I have a MacBook Pro laptop, Mac Pro tower as well as a new Gaming PC rig that I plug into this monitor (as well as IoT devices). Software for the PC is a snap and its plug and play on all my Macs. Very happy with this monitor. Would purchase another if I had more space on my desk. The DPI and refresh rate on this works great for both Win10, OSX Mojave. Great fonts, scaling, brightness (either high or low) no bleed through on edges. Love love love this monitor!!!

This is quite the product. It came ready with 0 issues. No dead pixels. The 144hz is instantly noticeable if you are upgrading from 60hz. The 1440p is very beautiful, coming from 1080p. The only con I can say is that the original package did not include a DisplayPort to displayport cable, which made it unusable on 144hz until I ordered one (due to the limitations of my set up). Make sure to order one with the pc! It did come with a USB-C to DisplayPort, which would be nice if you own one of the newer MacBooks.

I just love the Benq line of gaming monitors. This is by far my favorite. The colors and clarity are just outstanding. Great size. Games play smooth as can be. Really happy with this purchase. My panel does have some backlight bleed but I knew this would be an issue even before I purchased it. I wish they had software setting adjustments. I feel buttons these days are just obsolete. Overall, its a great monitor.
