I’ve had it for about a month and it worked great but out of the blue all of my games played in hdr looked washed out. I didn’t know why so I changed the setting in my Xbox and didn’t allow hdr this fixed the colors but they didn’t work in hdr anymore. So I can play games in 4K but not 4k hdr FIRST PIC IS REGULAR 4K AND SECOND IS 4K HDR

I recently lost my BenQ 1080P monitor due to a lightning strike, and found myself wanting more... MORE PIXELS!! So I looked around, and this is the only true 4K monitor with a 1ms response rate, WITH HDR. And man I cannot say it enough, these pictures I post cannot do justice enough for this monitor. The picture quality is so amazing, you cant see the pixels on the monitor even up close, and the video quality at 60fps is silky smooth like those demo units they have at stores like BestBuy and Target. Needless to say, im gaming on this computer and running a Minecraft server for my friends and myself. Yes, gaming at 4K is going to cost a lot, but hey, I have the cash to spend because of my job, and its 100% worth every penny. I wish I could give BenQ a higher rating, but Amazon wont let me. :( Dont pay attention to the people poo-pooing gaming at 4K because they cant afford good hardware. :) But I would reccomend at least a GTX1080 or a Vega 64 card if you are going to try using a true 4K monitor like this. Its pretty BEEFY.

The colors are terrible. They look washed out. Blacks are not black, they are a dark gray. Its as if the entire screen has a haze of gray over it. I fiddled with the settings for an hour and nothing I did could fix it. I ordered a different brand of 4K monitor and it looks beautiful. This is the first time using a BenQ monitor. Not impressed. Returned.

I bought this for my Xbox one X since my 4K tv is not full HDR. I wanted a monitor match all of the xbox specs and this monitor matched with 4K HDR 60hz and 1ms. Has some truoble at first getting the serting I wanted but thanks to the xbox calibration Infound that some games inclusing Halo 5 can run with sRBG which made my chin drop. It’s perfect for those looking to have an edge over those with just 4K since I noticed every movement with way less blurr.

It’s a nice product for the price. It’s has a good bright, vibrant, and clear 4K picture. The settings button feel a little cheesy but they work. The setting menu is not the easiest to navigate but it’s not the worst. The speakers work, not the loudest and not the greatest quality of sound but let’s be honest if you want sound you buy a stand alone sound bar/system. Setup is a breeze. Haven’t had any issues yet and don’t think i will. I would buy again and/or the next years model. I also have recommended to some of my gaming friends.

As usual, this BenQ model is a solid investment, especially for the low price. Quick break-down. Pros: Nice simple design Great color / contrast / black levels 4k looks great paired with Xbox One X Price is rather alluring for the specs. 1ms response, UHD, solid 28" matte screen Enables FreeSync on Xbox One X Cons: Shotty BenQ control panel with usual lack of remote Extremely poor speakers, dont even try it lol! Another usual suspect. HDR10 Looks terrible gaming on Xbox One X - details below Only 60hz - even though console is locked at 60fps, future proofing a bit would be nice, 144hz preferred In short, this monitor is a great value if you want one in this tempting price range. Mine has had zero issues other than the terrible HDR10. With the HDR turned on both monitor and console, even on newer xbox one games, the colors get extremely washed, contrast gets out of whack. And it limits your adjustments on the monitor with it on as well so you can only do so much correcting. Two presets are allowed. HDR10 and HDR10 Cinema. The first is a bright washed out mess, and the latter is a dark shadowy washed out mess. So I just dont even bother after days of trying to dial everything in. Even splured on a high end 4ft. Ocean HDMI cable just to make sure that wasnt the culprit. Simply used on a Standard setting with your own tweaks, it looks pretty dang good though so I cant really complain. You will enjoy it.

Picture quality is excellent at this price point. You can believe the online/YouTube reviews. So glad I bought this one. The contrast and color accuracy is exceptional. Be sure to have the appropriate video card, high bandwidth cable (hdmi 2.0, thunderbolt 3, etc. But 4k image and video looks deceptively lifelike. Check out the images of the screen taken with a note8 in highest resolution.

Such an underrated brand. This model is no exception. Great clarity and quality for the specs. I have never gone wrong with a BenQ EyeCare monitor, this is coming from a professional migraineur . Only downside--it seems they love EyeCare so much that they miss the ergonomics. Only tilt-adjustable, no height adjustment. No VESA mount option either. If you want VESA capability, youll need to purchase a third party VESA adaptor. Not a huge deal, but certainly not the ideal out of the box solution.

Nice size display with good resolution and decent build quality, but Im returning it. We were looking to standardize on a high quality 4K monitor for use with the latest MacBook Pros and iMacs that have only USB-C / Thunderbolt 3 port for external displays. The specifications and price on this EW3270U looked good, and I called BenQ to confirm full compatibility of the USB-C with Macs . Unfortunately the monitor was a disappointment. I got past the rather confusing on-screen menu choices required to optimize the settings for our work and was immediately disappointed with the brightness of the BenQ. At maximum brightness it looks REALLY DULL & DIM when used next to the very bright, sharp retina display of any recent (2017+) 27 inch 5K iMac, especially in a well-lit room. The brightness alone would not have been enough to cause me to return the BenQ. We could have found a use for it, for example in a dimly-lit video editing bay. So I moved it to an iMac Pro... and immediately started having what appear to be USB-C related problems. Thunderbolt and USB-C HDs and SSDs that had been working just fine would now frequently fail to mount at boot time. The iMac Pro has four 40Gbps Thunderbolt 3 ports with USB-C connectors supporting 10 Gbps USB 3.1 and DisplayPort 1.2. My storage devices had their own USB-C ports and the BenQ had its own port, but with the BenQ connected the reliability of the drives was degraded. Its unlikely a cable issue. USB-C cable compatibility is a disaster, however at one point I tried replacing ALL the USB-C cables with costly certified full 40Gbps Thunderbolt 3 cables that should support anything needed by either the BenQ Display or the external drives. The problems persisted. I have no BenQ software installed, so thats not causing the low-level panics It got worse. Shortly after moving the BenQ to the iMac Pro the iMac had the first of many low-level panics, which dumps your work and forces a reboot. This persists at random but frequent intervals and either stops or is drastically reduced when the BenQ is disconnected. It happened at least 30 times on the iMac Pro. When I moved the BenQ and a couple of external drives back to a 2017 5k 27" iMac THAT computer started to have panic restarts, although not nearly as frequently. BenQ support was polite and seemed reasonably knowledgeable, however they had little to say, no fix and seemed rather unconcerned. Given the USB-C problems and the disappointing lack of brightness this monitor just wasnt worth keeping. Were purchasing more LG 5K Thunderbolt / USB-C monitors that work fine with iMacs (including the iMac Pro) and MacBook Pros. Theyre only 27" and cost 2x the price of the BenQ. But theyre 100% compatible with our new Macs and the LGs have screens just as sharp and bright as the latest 5K iMacs and MacBook Pros.

I just got my monitor today. I turned it on to make sure it was working before redoing my set up. Worked great was very happy with everything. I then go to rearrange my set up and I went to use it and nothing black screen. Thank goodness Amazon has their support Jona helped me to figure out this unit is broken and I am currently working on returning the broken monitor. Benq however from what I was getting has not the best support since I couldnt talk to anyone right away but was able to leave a voice mail.
