Overall, I am satisfied with this monitor. Right away it felt like it wasnt as crisp as my Asus VG24 IPS. But I guess thats expected as both monitors are 1080p but this one is 27 instead of 24 inches. I can tell how the 144 Hz refresh makes a difference. I dont 144 with Display Port for some reason; just DVI (didnt try HDMI). Im using Ubuntu Linux with a ASUS GeForce GTX 1660 Ti. Mine has some minor backlight bleeding which seems to be related to a slight bowing of the vertical bezel on the right side. Applying some pressure to this bow actually temporarily resolves the bleeding. That seems to me a manufacturing issue. My VG24 had a big bezel comparatively. Personally, I dont think a small bezel is worth that kind of downside. For days I kept testing total black images to see if it really bothered me enough to RMA. Ultimately, it didnt bother me enough to play RMA charades. My next monitor probably wont be an ASUS or I will have to consider what tech looks as nice or nicer than an IPS.
