This is your ideally perfect gaming monitor! Not too big and not too small, at least me for when I’m playing fortnite on it! I wasn’t expecting much since the low price for 1080p with 144 hz refresh rates compared to other brands where it can be on your top $500-$700 bucks but oh I was so wrong! The image quality on this monitor is so sharp that it felt so real! Make sure you use the DVI that came in the box because your standard DVI cable probably won’t make the best out of this monitor. Totally worth the buy and now I’m debating if I want to buy another one for dual monitor setup.

To be perfectly clear, I’m not a gamer unless you count a few Microsoft Spider Solitaire games. However, I do love a large monitor with sharp definition since I watch numerous teachings on my computer. The Asus Full Hd HDMI DVI gives me all of that and more. Sound is very good, too, but I chose to install my excellent speakers so have bypassed that feature. This monitor has a superb IPS display and I haven’t noticed any backlight bleed, so everything is perfection for this happy customer. Colors are vibrant, images sharp, and I love the 165HZ refresh rate. Highly recommended.

My son is a very hard-core gamer, and he was extremely excited to get to try this monitor. His verdict? Literally--- "Its amazing!" My own testing of it totally agreed. Just out of the box, the monitor is very nice to look at, and it assembled with complete ease. Its a nice big size. First view showed there were no glilched pixels (no defects or spots that didnt light up). My son says its perfect for gaming because of the ultra-low latency it has, which he says means it responds to your mouse or keyboard commands almost instantly. I could see this in my own tests! My son is using it for game emulation through Dolphin, which he says gamers will understand, and it has greatly reduced lag as compared to other monitors hes tried. When using it to play Smash Brothers, he says the experience was flawless, like playing on a CRT. The resolution is 1080 with a 144hz refresh rate, which is great for high end gaming PCs. The color is lovely---very sharp. The price right now as stated is exactly right, Id say---just what you would want to pay for a monitor of this quality. I highly recommend it.

This thing looks great: bright colors pop, images are crisp, and everything moves very fluidly on screen. Ample picture presets, serviceable speakers, and plenty of ports round out what is a very nice monitor. I realize these rarely come with manufacturer remote controls, and if using the monitor with a pc you would have ample options for remote controlling, but I currently use this on console and adjusting the volume is very cumbersome (I end up using the in game volume controls). Anyhoo, great unit and happy to game on it.

So impressed with this monitor. I purchased a different gaming monitor for a duel setup last year and wasnt terribly happy with it, but lived with it. After getting this ASUS, I cant believe how much better it is. The refresh rate is very obviously faster and the colors are richer and deeper. The stand is adjustable, so if youre using a multi-monitor setup, you can adjust this one so the height is level with your other screen. This was a huge peeve of mine with my last monitor. The stand could tilt, but not go up and down at all. This one is not only adjustable, but can even be used vertically. You can totally turn the screen lengthwise if needed. Set up was painless and it even has built in speakers. A nice addition, but Im guessing most gamers are using headsets anyway. No problems with any dead pixels or anything like that. Its an awesome gaming monitor!

First, this screen is pretty big. Its almost like having a small TV on my desktop. The control buttons are on the bottom edge of the monitor but the buttons extrude so theyre easy to select. The picture is beautiful and the refresh rate is exceptional. I played a couple of graphic intensive first person shooters and the monitor had no problem with lag or pixelization. The sound is ok but I just tested it with basic music and games. I have computer speakers and the monitor doesnt hold up against that but if youre short of desktop real estate and hi fidelity isnt critical they will work fine. Setup was a breeze but this monitor does not have a VGA port so I would not recommend it for an older graphics card. Im using the DVI connection but it also has HDMI if you want to use that or connect an HDMI peripheral. For this price, you cant beat this monitor.

My 18 year old son spends most of his free time gaming on his desktop, so we gave him this monitor to try out. He loves it. He loves the size and the biggest thing he loves is how easy it is to adjust the monitor. Just slide it up, or down, to get it at the perfect height for your needs. The fact that it connects with a DVI cable means that you can use another monitor and utilize a USB slot so that you can have multiple monitors running very easily. The color is great but he did say that he didnt really notice much of an increase in speed from his other monitor when it came to gaming. He definitely loves this monitor, however, and it looks amazing!

Oh this is crisp and clear- gorgeous for my gaming. Skyrim looks glorious! I play all sorts of games and use my computer for netflix etc. the graphics display is pretty important. I am actually preferring this screen to my apple cinema display! Thinner, lighter weight and better and crisper picture.
