I purchased this as a secondary monitor to use for reference photos while I draw on my main monitor. Right out of the box putting this on my mount was amazingly smooth, the downside? The SHORTEST cords Ive EVER encountered with monitor equipment. My previous monitor required the cables to be tied up or theyd droop, I cant even get these through my cord management system on my mount. They must free hang to go to both power, and the back of my computer and it was a stretch to get there. Secondly, this thing was obnoxious to calibrate, colors are still iffy but I have it configured to an acceptable setting. Plug and play wasnt the option here, as the colors out of the box were washed out and desaturated. Lastly and worst of all, viewing blacks, greys, and purple colors results in seeing severe red pixelation when viewing. My primary monitor works just fine and doesnt display any of these behaviors, which leads me to believe that its nothing to do with my hardware (EVGA Geforce GTX 1060). For overall usage for references I wouldnt say its a huge deal, but its aggravating on the eyes trying to focus. Contemplating sending this back... UPDATE: 7/22/2017 Its flickering on and off as it pleases with a No Signal message, pixelation of colors is still occurring too. HDMI Cable is brand spanking new and video drivers are up to date. Same issues plugged into the hubbies computer with a different cord. Naturally, the latest date for me to get product support through Amazon? July 14, its the 22nd. Go figure. Shouldve sent this back and got the display port version instead. *sigh*.
