I call her Beauty (this monitor), since I call my desktop computer The Beast. I am a horrible photographer and even worse on this iphone 6s. (Yes, I still have a 6s. You can tell where my priorities are.). I wish the photos I attached would show the detail, vibrancy, and contrast in the colors. Beauty is paired with the Nvidia Geforce GTX 1070ti graphics card. (No, I didn’t get a 1080. This one is just fine.) The graphics on Beauty with Beast’s help are amazing! Beauty doesn’t curve as much as I thought she would, but I like her! I was going to hang her on the wall, but I decided to try the stand out first and see how I like it. I have a 24” deep desk, and find the stand to be perfect for it. Coming from my 23” 60 Hz Eizo, I feel like a kid at the candy store! I have been putting her through her paces and have even set up an overclocked profile on MSI Afterburner. I could not be any happier! Gaming with her is such a pleasure! Send some Mountain Dew. I may never want to stop! Pros: 1. No Bleed! I got a good one! 2. Fantastic Blacks! 3. Extra-wide screen. 2. Fantastic picture quality while not affecting in-game performance. 3. Love the joy stick you use to change settings. The controls are on the back, and you just wrap your hand around to reach them. 4. I thought I wanted a sleeker design, but I like the steampunk over-the-top design. 3. Everything but the 3 cons below. Cons: 1. Not as curved as I would really like. 2. You have to be a contortionist to plug anything into it. The plug ins are on the back near the bottom and are hidden such that they are very hard to see and reach. 3. Don’t even try the speakers, but who uses monitor speakers anyway.

First time i got this monitor i got Like new from the warehouse around august , LOTS of light bleed! came in a custom box! Returned! i took the risk again as Very good since it had a 20% off with a supposed scratch on top.....monitor came in the original box with everything sealed , Monitor is on PERFECT condition , no light bleed! overclocks to 100mhz and it looks like a dream . I am super exited about it, been using it for a few days and i suggest you take a chance since it is simply beautiful. I am very satisfied with my purchase ! From the stand to the back this monitor feels premium and looks fantastic , once you go IPS you cant go back.

I got 2 of these, and I have them side by side on my desk. They are incredible pieces of equipment! The design is immaculate. Highly functional, very well-made. The stand is the best Ive ever seen. Its so easy to adjust and it includes features like cable management that I didnt expect. For gaming, theyre great. You can crank up the FOV and see more. The resolution is amazing, and I use them for work as well. Having Visual Studio open with 3 files on one monitor and having room for lots of other stuff open on the other is great. There is little to no light bleed like IPS monitors are typical of. G-sync only works with 1 monitor (that I was able to deduce anyhow) but theyre still great. Definitely want a decent graphics card driving them, but anyone looking for a monitor like this probably has one.

First off, I do not leave many amazon reviews...I basically do not care enough(selfish, I know). That said, I felt compelled to in this situation since reviews are all over the place. In short, I had a ton of concerns based on other reviews before pulling the trigger on this monitor. But I have to say I had no issues like other people have mentioned..... no dead pixels or shadowing. Plus I rolled the dice and picked up a slightly used one which is pretty risky IMO. However the monitor came in perfect condition and is truly amazing to use...especially for gaming. Currently playing BF1 and the extra FOV and g-sync tech that you get makes the game play soooo much better. Its a true treat to game on and I highly recommend it if you are considering it. I also work from home and I have this paired up with another 27inch ASUS 4k monitor and makes multi-tasking easier...probably over kill for work alone but if you game occasionally and want to take it to the next level, then this monitor is for you.

I just purchased this monitor after owning the Acer Predator X34 for around 6 months. I loved that monitor, but it began to fail on me and I had to send it back. I opted to try the Asus PG348Q this time. If I had to compare the two and decide what I like best, then it would look a little like this: Best UI: PG348Q Best looking display (frame): X34 Best looking stand: X34 Best speakers: X34 Best additional lighting: X34 Best screen quality: Same Ultimately the final decision for me came down to build quality and longevity. In all my research into both monitors, the consensus is that the PG348Q has a better build quality over the X34, which is apparently notorious for developing issues. Time will tell whether my PG348Q holds up to the consensus! Its a real shame because the X34 easily wins for me in almost every category. But if you want a monitor that lasts, the PG348Q is *hopefully* the one to go with! I will update my review if I run into any issues. Its also worth noting that the PG348Q seems quite a bit heavier than the X34, and as such my monitor arm isnt able to handle the weight, specifically the joint allowing vertical rotation of the screen. The screen is around 11kg (24 lbs), so plan accordingly.

Ive been through about 4 of these and they all have the lightbleed problem so I finally gave up. Good thing I got it for a good deal + Amazon is awesome with Customer Service. Something Ive noticed with the "Turbo Feature": WHAT A @$%@#$ GIMMICK. Dude, just make it 100Hz period. Why even have the option for 60hz? This is problematic because on console ported games it keeps defaulting the screen to 60hz every time I alt tab and go back into the game. You would think "thats OK since console ports are 60hz" but its NOT because something with the software actually makes the game jittery and NOT function correctly so you literally have to manually push the button to 100hz again every time to make it run normally even though the game is "60fps". You HAVE to be on 100hz or it just wont work properly period. Stupid stupid annoying stupid mother #@$%#@$%s. Conclusion: 1. Light bleed is trash 2. "Turbo" button is condescending. Were adult gamers (cause kids arent going to buy this expensive thing) so who do you think youre fooling? As if that wasnt annoying enough, it actually imposes a problem because of it. Nice one marketing / engineering team. GJ idiots. 3. Other than that NICE SCREEN!!!!!!!! :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D ..............................

Overall pretty damn great. Major upgrade from my 60hz 1080p monitor. Occasionally I will get a slight black flicker running across the top of the monitor. For the price of 1k kind of disappointing but honestly I rarely notice it so not a big deal for me but may be for you. I use it for gaming and gaming only. Amazing colors and response (I don’t understand people complaining about backlight bleed I honestly don’t even know why you are just staring at a blank monitor anyway). One thing to remember; when overclocking to 100hz and max resolution this monitor is very taxing on your system. I play mainly AAA titles and am capable of maxing out settings on any game I play but I also have a higher end system but still see massive FPS drops from my 1080p monitor (little more than expected honestly) but games still run smooth and over 70fps in every game I play. Overall it’s well worth the price in my opinion but again make sure you have a high end system if you plan on taking full advantage of this monitor. Otherwise you may be very disappointed in your purchase.

I took the risk and ordered this from the amazon warehouse which was by far a HUGE money saving factor. It was noted the box was damaged but nothing else was noted. Everything came in and the damage to the box was minimal no holes or anything just a corner slightly crunched down. The unit itself is great! The screen feels like the perfect size for the enveloping effect without feeling the need to look around to catch any movement missing. I have been please with the fact that all my games that I play work great with the 21:9 aspect ratio, only game I have come across that does not seem to do it native is MGS phantom pain. I had been using a Asus 24" TN panel 144hz with a gtx1080 and I would run games with DSR to help get rid of jaggies in games. Even on the best of settings the clarity compared to native 1440p wins hands down. I also love the Gsync feature so even if I decide to push my card and add MSAA to some games and see the frames dip in the mid 40s it still feels and looks smooth. I am finding myself enjoying the game more and not peaking at my MSI afterburner reading as much, I would imagine soon I will rarely as the old habits die off and the fun begins with enjoying the games I have again at 21:9 and 1440p :) A note on the colors, I followed many of the guides out there to get the 100% RGB and found that while it helped eliminate most of the backlight bleed the the colors didnt seem to pop like I would have wanted or expected. I do recommend you give the tutorials a try and see what its "supposed" to look like but in the end the settings are there for your preferences. If like me you like colors to pop and your retinas to burn then crank it up and enjoy yourself to whatever settings you enjoy :D

Got this almost 2 years ago now and had no major issues with it aside from the light bleed pretty much since day 1 (a lot of other reviews mention this too) as I dont think they do quality control on it. The picture quality is amazing and its very immersive. It has many ports so you can almost use it as a usb hub. The controls on the monitor are stellar so no more "what button do i click again.. oh ops i switches the input method". Some downsides of this monitor is as follows: 1. Size and spread of the monitors legs: I got a bigger desk when i bought this monitor specifically for gaming with large area (DX Racer GD1000) and even with it its hard to keep that monitor on the desk with a smaller by its side. Thankfully because the desk has extra depth its not an issue but you should really measure your desk to make sure you wont be disappointed when the monitor comes. 2. Gaming: While this is an absolutely awesome gaming monitor you will see an issue where unless you have the best up to date gaming rig you wont be able to really fully utilize the monitor. When i bought this monitor I bough it along side the 1080ti which just came out at the time and I have always struggled to run just about any game at 100 fps. Most games will be in the 80s fps and newer games about 60 fps. If the fps gets too low not only will your game play suffer but you can physically get car sick so make sure you have up to date GPU as otherwise this monitor will be useless to you and unless you get latest and greatest every year you will have to turn down the graphics quality. Overall I think its a worthy buy but the light bleed, size of the legs and the GPU requirements might be something you want to keep in mind before buying.

***UPDATE 2 YEARS LATER July 27, 2018*** Had the monitor for 2 years. It is wonderful. One thing that started to bother me more and more was the stand. 2 years ago I said it was Gaudy. I failed to mention it takes up more space than what is reasonable. I fixed this by getting the (AmazonBasics Premium Single Monitor Stand - Lift Engine Arm Mount, Aluminum.) Weight of the monitor is not a problem for the mount. Ill post a link below this paragraph. That really freed up space on my desk and made the monitor much more versatile. The monitor itself is good, no back bleed or dead pixels. I still 100% recommend this monitor, even more so with a better mounting system. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00MIBN16O/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o00_s01?ie=UTF8&psc=1 ***1.5 YEAR OLD UPDATE*** I have had this monitor for over 6 months. It sits about 30 inches from my face at a seated position. ***ORIGINAL*** Pros: -I only notice the bezels when I look for them, only to say "those are amazing bezels" -Curve is subtle but surprisingly comfortable and not at all disorienting. -Refresh rate and gsync work great. -The controls on the monitor are by far the best in the industry. -Blacks are as black as a non HDR can be and the colors are vibrant. -The stand moves the panel like a hot knife through butter. -No fingertips smearing the back of the panel from some sub par material. -All the space. Cons: -Price. It isnt cheap but gsync monitors arent going to go down in price. Get the monitor with the specs you want and dont settle if you think youll get a curved in the future. Take the plunge. -The stand is gaudy. I am not a fan of the light, which you can turn off in the menu. The stand is ugly. The predator x34 stand has a nicer not so in your face stand. If this monitor is in your price range, go for it. I have no regrets buying this. The Acer X34 is another great monitor I have experiance with but I prefer this one. The colors are better and the bezels are just too magnificent compared to the x34. I just wish this had the same spartan-ish looking stand. May your temperatures be low and your frame rates high. {Praise Be}
