Ive had this monitor for about 3 months now. Connected to a RTX 2080ti, I have no problems running all my games at 165hz except some where the game itself wont allow it. I get great frame rates and havent experienced any screen tearing or flickering at all. I like this monitor so much, I bought another one for my secondary build running a RTX 2060. One thing I dont like is the onboard menu...for a pricey monitor like this, i would expect a more fluid easy to use menu. maybe a software to control the monitor would be nice. Other than that, zero complaints. Ive noticed a lot of people hating on the RGB on the back of the monitor but honestly I like it. My computers are set up in a relatively dark area and i like how the RGB reflects off of the white wall behind it. honestly not that noticeable but RGB seems to be the future of everything so might as well get used to it.

Ordering and Arrival : Ordered ASUS ROG Swift PG27VQ (Curved display) August 19th, 2018 at approximately 1:00am Received August 21st, 2018 at approximately 1:30pm Packaging : Monitor and contents were secured by a hard packing styrofoam shell as most electronics like this are and was packed in a high gloss cardboard box which was then packed in a standard brown packing box. The contents included the monitor, the power supply, a USB B cable, an HDMI cable, a Displayport cable detachable monitor stand and back plate, and LED lens cover (For the LED projection under the stand) Issues : I noticed some slight flickering (very minor and not even noticeable when in game.) Monitor is said to be 165Hz but its actually a 144Hz monitor with built in overclocking capability to 165Hz. I havent tried to go up to 165Hz just because from my knowledge overclocking a monitor will impact the colors which this being a TN panel, I dont know if it would have the color depth to sacrifice for an overclock and still look super crisp and sharp. Things to note : I havent touched the color settings at all and it looks really good. I have zero dead or stuck pixels as of right now. There arent any weird lines or discoloration and I havent noticed any back-light bleed yet at all. I will update this review in 6 months, unless anything changes between now and then.

Its been weeks that I have been researching for a curved monitor 1440p 144Hz ( OC to 165 Hz ), Nvidia G-sync technology, 27 inch and a fast response time. I decided, after a very long time reading reviews, to buy the Asus Rog Swift PG27VQ curved monitor. It did arrive today. No dead pixels, no backlighting. A lot of users found this monitor to have washed out colors and in this regard, out of the box, it did not look too bad. However, I decided to tweak some settings, especially the contrast and brightness and to make it look better, I decided to use Nvidia color settings which allowed me to increase saturation. Honestly, after doing that, I find this monitor to have a very good color rendition and far away from washed out as a lot of users have addressed. Its been only a few hours testing it and I will update this review as the days goes by and testing it with a lot of games. Assassin Creed Odyssey looks awesome and Fallout4 is looks also great. This monitor excel in the response time. It is very smooth and I have it at 165 Hz setup. Perhaps I was lucky to receive a very good copy but again, I have not seen any dead pixels, no backlighting ( I tested it with the screen completely dark ) and regarding the colors, well, I cannot complain at all. Colors are if not excellent, very close to that rating. I am a photographer and I like my pictures to be sharp and colorful and I am very picky about resolution, so I can say that I am very happy so far with this monitor. The curvature of it, makes my game more immersive, so to finish this up, if you want to have all the specs this monitor offers, go for it. My previous monitor was the Viewsonic 27 inch IPS 1440p 144 ( 165 Hz ) and comparing both side by side, it is very narrow the difference between them. So I am giving it a 5 star review. Honestly I had a bias about it and if it did not satisfy me, I would have return it tomorrow but I am happy I was wrong.

I bought 2 cheaper monitors, and both of them failed within 1 week. These are more expensive but the metal quality, lighting, and generally everything was worth the price difference. On the back of this monitor is a joystick type button, its super convenient to navigate the monitor menu. I am running a Nvidia 970 and Nvidia 980TI, both are smooth with high fps in my games. Games playing: Witcher 3, Warhammer Total War, Warcraft, etc. When I play games I use the nvidia experience to adjust to optimal settings for my video card.

This thing is so expensive it really hurts but the curved screen, fast response time, and overall fit and finish are fantastic. Works exceptionally well for the paced games as long as you have a really monster gaming pc to consistently be over a hundred frames a second in 1440p. If you arent running to of the line graphics cards then you can get away with a lower refresh rate and save yourself a lot of money.

Really a joy. I am playing Alien Isolation with Helix Mod fix and Taa antialiasing now - it is wonderful, what a pleasure. I have a vive, and really like vr too - but seriously - Nothing beats 3d vision on this monitor.

Got the PG27VQ and so far I love it. No dead pixels and quality of monitor is very nice. Set to user mode R 81 G 83 B 100. I have Brightness 61 and Contrast 63 and Gamma 2.2. I have the Blue Light Filter on Level 0. Also Overclocked 165Hz. I am wondering about the best settings for Brightness, Contrast and Gamma. Not sure if what I have is the best. Also I need to figure out the best setup and settings for the Nvidia Control Panel to get the most out of this beast. Overall I am very happy with this monitor. I mainly use it for FPS gaming. Like PUBG, COD, Battlefield and so on. The games, FPS and response time are amazing. I would recommend this to anyone.

Great image quality with no dead pixels whatsoever. The high refresh rate and overclockable 165hz is a plus. The aurora lights arent bright and obnoxious. The monitor is mountable and the stand it comes with is removable and the legs are a nice solid metal build. The buttons on the right back side of the monitor and the mini analog stick makes it easy to navigate through the menu options with. Super smooth gaming sessions and the colors this monitor puts out are vibrant and bright and the 2k resolution 2560x1440p is a big upgrade and difference from 1920x1080p. The ASUS ROG Swift PG27VQ is on the left and my old monitor is on the right, Which is also the smaller one which is 1080p at 60hz refresh rate.
