At first sight I immediately fell in love with my MX34V monitor, but one major issue for me was the sloppy implementation of PBP (Picture-by-Picture) which allows two different inputs to run simultaneously such as two computers. I have a need to connect two computers on a single monitor, I was excited when I read this had PbP which meant I would be able to use both laptops without changing inputs. PbP does not split the monitor in half but rather puts two difficult to use/see images next to each other. The joystick to maneuver through the menu feels fragile and as if it can easily break. Overall if using two inputs at the same time or mounting on the wall is a requirement then dont get this device. Pros: -Great speakers (Harman/Kardon) for the size and definitely good for a small home office. -Stand serves as a wireless charging pad for your mobile phone. -Great image quality -It was great when playing games and very responsive Cons: -No Vesa mount so you cant mount on the wall or desk clamp out of the box. -Picture-by-Picture very poorly implemented -Settings joys stick feels fragile

The monitor causes stress for me. You wont be able to get to the settings because it needs to be displaying something from the PC. The only setting is the DP1 or HDMI selection and then it turns of abruptly. The DP ports are flaky for me, sometimes works and sometimes doesnt (which comes back to the first point, when youre troubleshooting and the darn thing turns off after 2 seconds of trying to select a DP port that isnt working is just makes you more angry), but Im using HDMI now, so I guess that was my resolution. The screens audio keeps snapping, as if there is a build-up of static and it snaps, it is quite annoying. Everything is grounded and verified, i tried multiple things to stop the snap, but the only thing i could do was to turn down the audio on the monitor and turn up my PC volume (still snapping, but less annoying). Overall, the size is great and the clarity is good; I really enjoy the ability to put two full size documents side-by-side.

ASUS Designo MX259H 25" Full HD 1920x1080 IPS HDMI VGA Frameless Monitor, works just fine, my desk is small this monitor dominates the space and appears to work just fine. •Right out of box 5 min and perfect or near perfect display monitor • Everyone that cares to look says its a really attractive monitor thin, brushed aluminum at bottom, no clunky buttons. •The monitor operates very cool. • I have owned the MX259H for 6 months. •My usage is general purpose light gaming, photoshop, internet browsing, and MS office. I love the widescreen, I can open images and work and compare side by side in PS, in games the type I play there is a lot of screen info and various huds, the MX259H screen size really helps. • Yes, it has speakers, I typically do not use them, but if I need to they are there and for quick audio (instead of my 2.1 speakers), they are no match for separate speakers. This is not a new release monitor reviews here go back to 2013, paying $190 for a 4 year old product meant I had to be convinced that the quality was exceptional and the monitor still worth the current price, balancing my typical usage with desire for latest & greatest vs cost. Thus I am very happy with my purchase.

This is a fantastic display. Its bright with vibrant accurate colors and decent black levels. This is my first IPS and 4K resolution is amazing. Ive been gaming at 1080p for a very long time. This is an upgrade from the Asus VG248QE 144Hz. I think this 4K IPS 5ms 60Hz is much nicer compared to 1080p TN 1ms 144Hz. The resolution and IPS image quality makes a much bigger difference. I can still play games like Call of Duty on this 4K 60Hz perfectly fine. The MX27UC has low input lag and great pixel response time. Theres no ghosting from what I can tell. I think 144Hz is more of a gimmick. Higher refresh does help reduce screen tearing though. I dont really mind that. Its not that noticeable most of the time. What is always noticeable is 4K IPS. Its so good. The only downside is most websites arent designed to scale with such a large res. I use the GTX 980 Ti and can max just about every game fine. The image is flawless. There isnt a single thing to complain about. Theres no dead pixels or backlight bleeding etc. Its just perfect! My one complaint is I went through two of them to get one that wasnt messed up. The first one also had a flawless image, but it kept flickering about every five to ten seconds and the DisplayPort didnt work. This replacement works great!!! I couldnt be happier.

Fantastic monitor. A lot bigger in person. Great upgrade over my 27 inch 16:9 1080p 60hz panel Ive been using since 2013. The width, curve, and resolution make for a fantastically immersive experience. The level of detail increase over my previous monitor is amazing. Im looking at my games completely different now and I am constantly amazed at the difference and feel. I can definitely feel and notice the difference between 100hz and 60hz. Everything is so fluid. I havent tested the built-in speakers yet so I cannot comment on their quality. I run Sennheiser HD 700 headphones so for me there is no point. The Qi wireless charger works flawlessly however and I was up and running with very minimal settings adjustment on the monitor to get the ideal picture quality for my tastes, though it was pretty dull and dim out of the box (to be expected). My only real complaint are the blacks. It crushes them with almost zero variance in hue. Its just deep inky black for all blacks. Kills some shadows etc. but its only a small gripe compared to the rest of the monitors strengths, esp in this price bracket for everything else you are getting. My only other gripe, which is very minimal is the fact this monitor supports FreeSync vs G-Sync. AMD only makes up 19% of the GPU market share vs nvidias 60%. I cannot fathom why it seems more monitors support an AMD tech over an Nvidia one despite this. Regardless, It doesnt affect me. My GPU is more than powerful enough to push this monitor at its full potential anyway.

The most vibrant colors and lest amount of IPS glow I have seen yet. This was my second 4k replacement, though I bought it used, it was described in new condition. I was worried when I saw the box, but when I opened it up it barely even looked like it was touched. If your looking to replace a TN panel as I was, this is the monitor for you. I rated the sound quality low because I have a 7.1 surround system on my PC so the sound I really cant judge the quality after being spoiled. Thank you Amazon for this deal and patience with me. I can honestly say Amazon Customer Service isnt happy unless their customers are happy.

This is a beautiful display. Not a single dead pixel, the colors are beautiful, and it renders type crisply on my Mac Minis native settings. That said, it is not adjustable, which is a pain in the rear (or neck) so youll need to get a riser for it, It doesnt have a VESA mount (WTF?), and the adjustment buttons were clearly designed by someone who has never, ever used a monitor in his or her life (WTF? times ten). Given these are not insignificant annoyances, the fact that Ive not taken off any stars would be an indication of how nice the display looks. I compared it side-by-side to a BenQ PD3200U 32" 4K , and sent the Ben Q packing. This was SO much better.

I bought one of these for my own work station and my wife liked it so much that we ended up getting a slightly smaller one for her. Ive had this monitor for over a year now. I like the simplistic and yet elegant design. The image quality is great, very sharp text and the colors are bright and vivid. Ive never had any problems with it flickering or not displaying. The sound is good. Dont expect fill the room, surround sound, theater quality, but its significantly better than any of the desktop computer speakers that Ive had in the past and some of the bluetooth speakers that I have now. The screen has a matte finish. You can tilt the screen to adjust it for your comfort but you cannot adjust the vertical height. I use this screen for gaming, my wife uses it for office work. Its good for both purposes although it does have a 5ms response time in case those 5 milliseconds are highly critical to your gaming performance. It comes with an HDMI cable in the box, so no need to purchase one. Its easy to set up and use. I would highly recommend this monitor.

Great panel for the price range. The 100hz, and 4ms response time leave very little screen tearing, and ghosting. Beautiful looking panel, and the wireless charging built into the stand is an amazing plus. Do make sure you have the GPU to push this panel before you purchase it. *Edit* I have now had this monitor for a few months, and it is still great. I have had time to go through the options on it too. It is loaded with gaming extras. For example FPS counter, builtin cross hairs. Also has options for screen inside screen. Witch would work nice for watching say your stream while streaming If you dont have more than one screen on your PC.

Not a computer expert. The stand is ok but would like to see a small vertical adjustment. Different set up from the Asus Pro Art HDMI it replaced. Finally got it set up. Power and hook up to the computer differs from Pro Art. In the Control Panel / Device Manager / Monitor showed as Generic. The correct driver is Generic PnP Monitor. I checked with ASUS. I checked the Monitor at different settings but the Standard Mode suited best. I used Standard Mode from the monitor settings then adjusted using the Video Card for final brightness and color settings. In effect Monitor code to start then Video card for final settings. In W10 Settings / Display, Scale of 150 percent is recommended. The scale of 150 percent is a requirement as selecting a scale of 175 percent for larger type settings causes W10 interference problems. The original post was for a ASUS Designo MX27AQ 27" WQHD 2560x1440 IPS DP HDMI Eye Care Frameless Monitor. Sent by mistake and not immediately caught. It is an LED while the MX27UC is an LCD. Amazon required return rather than a price adjustment. Which I proposed to them. Having seen both I would have preferred the MX27AQ version. I havent done the sound yet as my audio is a very satisfactory Klipsch IXH. Then
